Food and service was spot on and good value for money. Sabrina the waitress was very attentive. Next time we are in Cardiff we'll be back.

Excellent service friendly staff spotlessly clean. Under new management and it has made a great improvement to the premises and we will definitely be back soon.

If there's one thing you can take from my reviews, it is never ever go to Pret. The food is inedible , the prices sky high for absolute inedible food and the coffee is even worse than M&S

This was by far the best baguette shop in Cardiff. I visited around 5 times on Wednesdays last year after rediscovering the place (I had been a customer years earlier when I worked in Cardiff city centre). Everything was as good as I remembered, and the ambiance was great, good staff, faultless food and drinks. I’m only very sorry I didn’t visit more often when I had the chance, absolutely heartbroken it has gone. During those few visits, I got to remember a few faces and noticed repeat customers, it genuinely seemed like a friendly place and I hope those regulars have been able to find somewhere just as nice to go.

I usually come here in the morning before work for coffee and some bakery. Just got shouted and berated at with extremely rude body language by a rude barista (man with strong accent) as if I did something wrong! The café opens at 8am, which is the time I arrived. I walked in and got yelled to leave so I waited outside for good 8 minutes, he then came outside and told me to go elsewhere!! Extremely unacceptable, disrespectful and wrong way to treat people. Must be sacked!

16 of my family visited and we did not have to preorder, so they obviously can handle larger groups. Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Splitting the bill by three, in most pubs they cannot or will not do, but here at the unicorn they are organised and have the right staff serving. Very nice food *****

One of the best places for a great coffee, always very decent, and value for money is definately continuous in terms of coffee. Shame that the desserts are average and over priced. Pastries are just average and tmuch more pricey than greggs or even Tesco. Bought a slice of biscoff cheesecake that was very flavourless, very small in portion and very expensive for the size and quality. For £3.50 and a tiny slice, I calculated that from the size they could make up to £30 per whole cheesescake thats costs £6 to make. Also it tasted frozen and isnt made fresh daily. Very dissapinted I have changed coffee places to a nearby cafe that sells the best pastries and same quality coffee. I cant invest in a company who rips people off no matter how good the coffee is, or how loyal I was. Companies are getting away with it all the time because people are just too nice and let owners bank accounts stay over full when theres people in poverty. Put the prices down or put the quantity of desserts up to retain my service. Im a home baker and should have stayed with coffee only. Not happy I was ripped off thinking it was gonna be the most amazing cheesecake ive ever tasted, that tasted like it was defrosted at some point. Stick to coffee if you are going to go here.

Lovely spot to stop for a coffee & a cake on the commute into the city centre. Coffee was lovely, service very friendly and there's a good range of bike items and reading materials on offer. It was glorious sunshine when I visited so enjoyed sitting by the sunny window.

Honestly, Falafel Corner serve the best vegetarian wraps! One day I will have to try something else. The wraps are large, stuffed with falafel, humous & salads, & I always think I won't finish one, but they are so delicious, I always do ...

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch today, both main course and dessert were delicious.... thank you to the chef! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

Amazingly friendly place, very happy and helpful staff including the management and the food is out of this world! Myself, my family, friends and team frequent this place a few times a week. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff / excellent customer service, clean. Had to wait a bit for a new batch of pasties, politely informed of approx time and served promptly once they where ready.

Rubbish app, rip off if ordering manually. We got there, noting that if you don't order in the app, there is a 7.5% surcharge for ordering with staff. After the app - which is rubbish - crashed twice, the one member of staff said that I could order manually, but had to pay the surcharge regardless. We left.

This coffee shop has closed. There is a notice on the door that the landlord has repossessed the premise. A sad day as it had a friendly atmosphere and nice comfortable chairs😥
