Excellent service friendly staff spotlessly clean. Under new management and it has made a great improvement to the premises and we will definitely be back soon.

food range was good there were a few sandwiches and baguettes. good range of pastries wife had a croissant which was affordable. coffee was standard expected with the price. would come here again for the environment.

Vanilla late over festive period was stunning. Lovely pit stop in city centre during sale shopping. Costa just along was packed so we went here. Glad we did. Good service and cosy atmosphere

Excellent addition to Queen Street. The service here was so friendly. Bacon ciabatta was delicious. Salty bacon and soft bread Latte was rich and smooth. Lots of indoor seating and some outdoor too. Highly recommended

I absolutely love this vibe of this coffee shop, I don’t even like coffee I come for the vanilla milkshake but my friends say the coffee is amazing.

Literally, one member of staff gave me such a bad experience I'll never go back. It's right next to where I work and would have been my regular coffee spot. I took my own cup in because I'm trying to be more sustainable and not waste disposable coffee cups. I asked the woman serving for a double espresso in my cup, she gave me a look like I'd asked for the most ridiculous thing in the world. She said did I realise a double espresso was only so much liquid and I said yes (I always order a double espresso its the coffee I like) she gave me so much trouble just because my cup was big and the drink I wanted was small. Well I'm sorry they don't sell reusable espresso cups anywhere and I'm not going to change my coffee order because you think it looks silly putting a small amount of liquid in a large cup. Cardiff has never been better for quality coffee and service makes a difference. If you want excellent coffee and lovely service go to the corner, hardlines, littleman coffee co, the queer emporium the lsit goes on, you have so much choice don't waste your money somewhere like this. I was not going to leave a review, I actually emailed the place directly but was ignored. I want to add that the other staff members I've encountered were nice, and on one occasion the barista was really friendly but there are so many better places in cardiff. I really am sorry to the staff members who are nice to customers, I work in hospitality myself and I know it's not always easy when you have a difficult customer, but I went in their positive and friendly and all I did was place my order and I was treated like an idiot.

I had an amazing experience in this coffee shop. The best white hot chocolate you could ask for. Jack the manager was a legend for putting a little extra white chocolate pieces on top too. 100% recommended will definitely be back !

Such friendly staff, me and and my friend went to have a coffee when ordering our coffee we was looking at the food I mentioned that have a allergy to the staff so the manger came over he was was very friendly and informative which made me very comfortable in what I was buying, definitely go back again 100% recommend.

There is nothing I love more then starting my day with a hot white chocolate, all I can say is heaven in a cup 💙💙, thank you to all staff at 200 degrees for always showing great service especially Jack for always making my stay welcomed.

Stopped by in the morning for Coffee then returned in the afternoon for lunch. The food was so good we then ordered another two portions after we’d finished the first! Staff are super friendly and attentive, really great place!

Went at around 11 o'clock, was busy but not heaving. Service was quite slow, and the woman on tills was quite short to the people in front of me who were being a little indecisive (but not excessively so). Coffee was tasty, but when drinking I heard the lady snap at another customer. Just not acceptable.

I came here to study with my friend and the experience was ruined by one member of staff. An older lady had served me coffee, and made me feel like a nuisance for ordering. She then proceeded to give off to myself and my friend for my bag being on the floor. Very disappointed as the coffee and atmosphere of the cafe is lovely.

Ordered a latte and bakewell slice. Was told to take a seat. Coffee was done really well - can tell irs good coffee. The bakewell was soft and moist - not dry and crusty like some places. Lots of seating space and clean.

Mi amigo y yo fuimos a visitar las cafeterías de Cardiff en nuestros descansos para almorzar cuando pudimos, y tratamos de encontrar el mejor café en Cardiff.Los granos tostados a nuestro lado definitivamente agregaron algo diferente a la experiencia, pero el sabor del café en sí era algo mediocre. No es el peor café, y la comida era agradable, pero ciertamente hay mejores tazas de café disponibles en la ciudad.

Fuimos a tomar un café con algo de repostería, por la tarde. El local es de una decoración tipo industrial, acogedora.Pedí un trozo de bizcocho de chocolate y plátano. No era nada especial. La sorpresa fue cuando me sirvieron el Machiatto que pedí y que cuesta 2,10 libras. ¡Te lo sirven en una taza pequeña y lleno hasta la mitad. Es como un café cortado español!. Menos mal que me dio por reirme. Eso sí: mucho olor a café en el local y un ratito esperando a que lo preparasen.No lo recomiendo en absoluto.

They do simple things correctly as well as more complicated items which are done just as well. My mum ordered a simple tea and toast for breakfast which was delicious. I ordered a mushroom melt which always absolutely delicious and possibly the best mushrooms I’ve ever tasted! Easily the best coffee shop in Cardiff

Another independent cafe we have visited during our visit of Cardiff. I enjoyed watching the roasting process and even got the explanation what is going on. We were served nice cafe, only we would prefer to be informed in advance that nitro would be served in a can, not “fresh” (probably it was fresh, it just didn’t looked lik), however it was really nice. Staff was very friendly

This is the place for coffee now having tried a few. We had an excellent latte as well as flat white. The menu board shows they also prepare coffee using V60 as well as Aeropress for those like me who enjoy these additional brewing options. The pastry bar offered a number of enticing selections along with sandwiches. Will be back tomorrow for a pour over.

Popped into this cafe for the first time. I liked the relaxed vibe and found it a comfortable place to spend a half hour. The interior is long and narrow which meant it was rather dim, but I was using screens so not an issue for me. It was a very sunny day and there was seating outside. I ordered a flat white and croissant and service was good, it was brought to my table. Both were good, although my coffee wasn’t quite warm enough for my taste (although I do know it shouldn’t be too hot). Other than this minor quibble which I will mention next time, I felt happy with this choice. On another point, the toilets were clean, which is always a good sign.

Coffee is definately the winner in here. Smooth and rich taste excellent. Family had wraps and panninis these were so fresh and packed full of tasty fillings. Well catered from all palates and tastes.

Dropped in on spec and delighted to find such good coffee and interesting range of snack/sandwich style foods. Certainly better that the chains like Pret and Starbucks that surrounds it.

I love this coffee shop and it is definitely up there with my favourites in Cardiff at the moment. Staff are always super friendly and the coffee is great. As for the cakes, I always end up getting a slice of the caramel bubble cake which i'd highly recommend as a little treat to go with your coffee

Really nice coffee house. If you arrive from Queen Street station , Walk up queen street , miss the other coffee shops and pop in to 200 degrees ,for a better coffee . It has a relaxing feel to the place , and the snacks look good too.

Ok look, - I get it. The high-street coffee shops these days are trying to move away from a corporate brand and make coffee shops more....'soft around the edges'. Nothing that says we are corporate or 'you just paid £3+ for a coffee that cost us pence to make - thank you very much'.

Love this coffee shop! Always cosy and a lovely place to stop for coffee and cake any time of year. The service is always very quick and we always enjoy visiting. Love that there is usually vegan cake available.

Lovely setting, design wise it looks incredible. That aside the coffee is great, brilliant selection and ticks boxes for everyone, high end coffee at chain store prices. Staff are friendly and know their stuff.

The coffee is lovely, and the latte always comes with some nice art on top. The cakes are similarly good, especially the salted caramel brownie (my favourite) and the service is friendly. There's normally a nice, calm atmosphere in there so it's a good place to hide away and get some work done. However, it is expensive compared with other coffee shops, particularly as the coffees are on the small size, and I do wonder about the fact that all the food is uncovered on the counter as it doesn't seem particularly hygienic.

Really lovely coffee shop, great atmosphere and lovely coffee. This is our second time visiting, and we will definitely be back again.

I've tried a few places with Nitro coffee, and this is the ONLY place I like. It's really creamy, whereas other places are fizzy. Really nice with ice and a foamy top. Lovely 😊

I have been to 200 Degrees a few times, and really like the place - nice paninis, hot and cold drinks. However, on a Saturday a few weeks ago we called in at about 5.30pm, hoping for a coffee and a cake before heading to an event at the National Museum. Ordered 2 coffees (latte) and asked what cake was available. We were told that the cakes had already been cleared away for the day, so coffee was OK, but we were not able to have cake. I asked did they have any packs of biscuits, but the answer was No. So we just had the coffees, which were lukewarm and took all of 10 seconds to drink. Such a shame, as we have enjoyed previous visits. If this coffee shop is open until a certain time, then the food they sell should be available until that time. I can understand that when paninis have all gone that they will not make any more until the next day, but how difficult would it have been to say "we have bakewell tart & muffins - which would you like?" To be met with a blank refusal of cake will make me consider whether I can be bothered to go back again, as there are plenty of other coffee shops available nearby.

I am typically a 'chain coffee shop' drinker but visited this shop in Dec and was truly pleasantly surprised. Lovely warm atmosphere. There were 4 of us drinking different things all were exceptionally nice and so was the cakes. Def be back

OMG OMG this coffee shop is somewhere I come to relax and get my early morning coffee fix. The staff are always lovely and friendly. The coffee is always fabulous. Best of all they do oat milk lattes for people who don't enjoy soy milk this is perfect and has made my morning finding out they do this. Thanks guys

I thought I'd try out a new coffee shop and came across 200 degrees soon Queen St in Cardiff. I ordered a cappuccino. They are charging £2.90 for it. That must be the most expensive cup of coffee in cardiff. I expected something wonderful. it was dreadful. Not only was is luke warm but it was bitter and quite frankly undrinkable. I asked the staff member to make another one which she did most happily. The 2nd coffee was just above lukewarm. Although less bitter than the first it was still awful and as far as I was concerned undrinkable. I left it. I had wanted some food as well but the cakes on display looked old and tired so I gave them a wide birth as well. Very very disappointed and the prices are ridiculous.

Fab coffee, cosy atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice personal feel as you walk in the door. It’s nice to have something a bit different than the regular big name coffee shops. The set up makes you feel like you could spend all day there relaxing and chillaxing. Highly recommend.

There’s no doubt that the staff at 200 Degrees know their coffee - the shop even boasts a ‘barista school’ - and you can get a fantastic cup here. 200 Degrees is the first coffee shop in Wales to offer the latest trend, ‘nitro cold brew’, a smooth & creamy new take on coffee which has made its way across the Atlantic recently. However, you’ll pay for the experience: prices at 200 Degrees aren’t generally cheap, especially for their sandwiches. That’s why I’m scoring this place 4, rather than the full 5 stars.

Walked in here to get my Cold Brew fix, never been here before so thought I'd try it out. Asked what their "nitro Cold Brew" was, was informed it was really cold coffee (I knew this), but no word on why it was called nitro. They gave me a taste, it was OK, but watery and weak, but thought I'd try anyway. Asked for one to go, with Caramel syrup, but was informed that they wouldn't put syrup in a cold brew as it would change the taste- well duh, that's why I asked for it. What a pretentious load of crap, you'd rather lose a sale than add syrup into a drink when asked? I'd prefer to go to starbucks any day. Hope you go the same way as Artigiano, which you took the place of, and close.

Wow had a salted caramel milkshake with not much change of £5, was excited to see what I would get, bit expensive for some frothed up milk and three bits of floating icecream. Maybe your coffee is better but I won't be back

My wife and I had a lovely lunch at 200 Degrees. There's many different healthy and tasty Veggie and Vegan options to choose from, superb coffee too, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The coffee is great particularly flat whites, but its a shame they don't know how to make milkshakes, considering half of it was ice. (unless their idea of milkshakes is a iced frappe)
