Alex was superb, very friendly and attentive. Was a good family gathering and overall the food was spot on and great value for money

Food was hot and tasty but could have been slightly quicker. No options for sandwiches on the app. Would definitely go again.

Stopped by for a spot of lunch whilst in Cardiff. Pub was clean and we found a table (was starting to get busy). Order at the bar arrangement, and food was delivered in good time. Fair prices and food was good although the menu was a little limited for us but catered for a wide demographic. Staff were lovely and the pub is dog friendly. The overflow car park has a bit of a slope and I can imagine on wet or icy days, the ramp being a little slippery.

Ordered our drinks, 20 minutes later our beef dinner turned up....still hadn't received our drinks... Waitress sorted that issue for us. The beef dinner was ok, but according to the menu, it says served with seasonal vegetables.... peas, broccoli and parsnips were missing.. Yorkshire puddings were fantastic. We had to ask for sauces, on a Sunday, ideally a Sunday menu should be available on tables so we could see what we would get for our money, and sauces should be readily available. All staff were professional, and polite, but there is room for improvement

Gravy was tasteless and poured like water, only thing on the plate that had any flavour was the mashed potato and the broccoli everything else was tatseless! Meat was like chewing gum! Server was rude and looked like she couldn't be bothered to be there!...

Very disappointed today with the food at the Ty nant ordered 2 sausage and mash which firstly came back cold so sent it back to be warmed up then when it came back the peas weren’t cooked and the mash was like it was puréed...

Our recent visit saw a much improved service and the food quality was really good. Nice quick service, food was hot and tasty and everything ordered from the table. Just one let down was the menus were sticky and needed cleaning.
