The vegan breakfast has gone downhill since my last visit several weeks ago. Also. No condiment tray. I had to ask and was rewarded with a smidgen of ketchup. Shoddy. I shall not return!

Advised the Centre that I would be attending with an ambulance disabled person, and that they would require an easy-access seat. On entering the cinema there was no designated seat and the person on the door was more interested in expressing that no one had told them that we would be there, rather than helping to resolve the issue Really disappointed in the absence of any level help or service available or offerer. My companion was not the only person with ambulatory issues, with a couple in front of us being told that they would have to wait for someone to operate the lift as they (the same staff member), stating that they were not allowed to use it.

So cool! Has so many awesome facilities and lovely events. It has an arthouse cinema, screenprint workshops, audition spaces, a massive lively and bubbly cafe with lots of options. Everyone here is really welcoming and friendly from reception right down to the cafe staff and the theatre directors. I will definitely be coming here again. I auditioned for a part in a play here and even if I don’t get the part it will have been worth it to find this place and get to read such a fun play! It has good bike parking facilities, it’s accessible inside and outside and feels very welcoming. Today it had a BSL zone which is lovely to see.

Chapter 5/5 - always has great things on and is a brilliant community hub for Cardiff West. Chapter food 2/5 £14.50 for a Sunday roast which includes one slice of beef, half a carrot, very thin gravy, small piece parsnip, few roasties, a cold Yorkshire pud and a spoonful of mixed veg. Been a lot of times and it’s very inconsistent, like there’s a new chef there every time I’ve visited.

Went to see a movie here. It's awesome that they show a wide selection of movies, many that don't get any screenings in the mainstream chains. The screen room was nice and clean. The hallway to the screens are covered in movie posters - looks really great. Nice seating area around the cafe - I was able to sit there and charge my phone while I waited for my movie to start. Really cool vibe and atmosphere, and the staff were very nice and friendly.

Lovely large area with plenty going on with every kind of person, which is fantastic. Been visiting here several times a month over 7 years as great place to work, meet others. However, there has definitely been a,decline in service and food over the past year. The food takes ages, gone up massively in price (I appreciate all prices gone up but this is ridiculous) and food portions are too small and quality also not as good. The staff even look 'low' and not as happy or motivated as before. It's turned from a busy place to work/,eat into a nursery at times with kids running around tables/screaming. Myself and colleagues now go elsewhere to meet up and only attend chapter when no other option. Very sad.

Went to a dance session on Saturday evening. Managed to park at the centre which was very welcome. Local streets mostly permit only. It's a fun place, well decorated, lively but not noisy. Served good coffee, free water, reasonable refreshments. Nice place with nice people. Hated the one gender loos. Never mix men with ladies. It smelled like a mens loo, I saw men not washing their hands so the ladies were wasting their time when they exited. Guess it's cheaper and trendy but the ladies in our group were not comfortable.

Lovely venue, great performance, recording and workshop spaces, with a great open foyer / cafe area This cafe is great but also what brings it down, the quality of food and drinks is great, however it’s the slowest possible service I’ve ever had waiting for a coffee, every time I visit is the same. the cafe management and the way staff are trained, is simply poor. I nearly gave this review a 3 star, simply down the cafe staff speed and etiquette. However this is an arts centre, and I must rate it so, and the centre itself is truly great, a 5 star centre let down by a slow cafe

Chapter is a great place but a few times now I've enquired about the soup as I have a problem with sugar intake. It seems that sugar is a constant ingredient of a Chapter soup. Why ? Sugar is in almost every food, and generally it is not good for our health. Why does Chapter of all places have it in such a basic staple meal as soup ? !

Nice open-plan spacious place that serves food and drink, and somewhere you can watch a film, but wait for it... They don't sell popcorn, and you're not allowed any food or drink inside the cinema to watch your film, only water! What a complete waste of time and money! Food is good & well priced considering it's a charity/arts centre and the local area. The fact that you can get a breakfast tea for just £1.25 gets it a big thumbs up, and there's always space to sit for a long catch up or to get your laptop out. However, the bar service is often very slow and I've had more than one instance of café/bar staff just being plain rude - in general, the customer service here could use some work.

It's so much nicer than going to a big chain cinema for literally the same price, and they are much more likely to do subtitled screenings which means I enjoy watching the films so much more. We went to see a film on Sunday afternoon and planned to have lunch before the film. The film was at 3.10 and lunch was advertised as available from 12 to 4. We arrived around 1.45 after a journey of well over an hour and found there was no parking available at all. After driving around and waiting for a parking space for some time we eventually had to park illegally. We then went to get lunch at just after 2 and were told the vegetarian Sunday lunch option was already sold out about half way through the service. Fortunately, the film was good, but the experience was totally spoilt by the lack of parking (exacerbated by the inability/reluctance of staff to make any useful suggestions) and the poor planning in the kitchen ("We only serve lunch until we run out" is not an acceptable customer service response half way through the advertised lunch service period). Extremely disappointed.
