Mi esposo y yo fuimos a almorzar el domingo hoy, 16 de febrero de 2025. Hemos almorzado el domingo aquí muchas veces, pero los dos dijimos que la comida de hoy fue la mejor de todos. La carne estaba tan tierna y las verduras eran muy sabrosas. Nuestra bienvenida al pub fue insuperable desde el minuto en que cruzamos la puerta. Todo el personal era muy amable y servicial, pero Ellie nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos desde el minuto que nos sentamos y nada era demasiado problema para ella.

Gran ubicación y comida fabulosa. El rarebit galés fue uno de los mejores que he tenido. El té ruso Caravan era perfecto y el servicio genial también

Came across this place after walking around and finding a lot of chain restaurants which we didn't really want. My friend and I had a pasta, bread and a bottle of wine, all of which were lovely. I thought it was well priced compared to some Italian restaurants I've been to recently. One thing, I've looked at its website and it doesn't show a menu. I'd like to bring some friends here but I know they'd like to see the menu first. I, however would definitely come here again.

Top barman. Unbelievable service Anthony a top fella I’m a member at the gym and it’s always great to see Anthony when having a pint in the hotel. Hope everyone who comes in here gets the pleasure of being served by Anthony he’s a top top bloke. Absolute class

I’ve been coming here for a number of years, recently the quality of the staff has seriously diminished, they’re just plain rude, unhelpful and have a terrible attitude

Vino a tomar un café a las 5: 15 pm ya que la tienda no cerró hasta las 6 pm. Lo primero que nos dijeron al entrar fue que "la tienda cierra en menos de una hora, así que todas las bebidas estarán en tazas para llevar". Estaba muy claro que el personal solo quería irse y no nos quería allí. Para ser honesto, se siente perezoso y desperdiciado no servir bebidas en tazas normales con mucho tiempo para que los clientes terminen sus bebidas antes de que la tienda cierre y mucho tiempo para limpiar esas tazas. A las 5: 30 La música de la tienda se apagó y el personal comenzó a barrer el piso con fuerza. A las 5: 45 el personal tenía sus abrigos puestos, se quejaba de "lo lento que se movía el tiempo", discutiendo si se nos había "recordado" que la tienda cierra en 15 minutos y dijo a los clientes que ya no podían hacer café porque habían "cerrado la máquina". Esto fue después de que un grupo de 6 optaron por no quedarse porque no querían sus bebidas en tazas para llevar. Como alguien que trabaja en un café, entiendo completamente la importancia de cerrar el café rápidamente después del cierre de la tienda. Sin embargo, el cierre de los trabajos se puede hacer de forma discreta y sin hacer que los clientes se sientan increíblemente desagradables. Si quieres estar fuera a las 6 pm solo cambia el horario de apertura. Nunca antes me había sentido tan desagradable en un café y había visto tanta falta de profesionalidad. Muy decepcionante, ya que solía venir aquí regularmente y el personal era siempre tan cálido y acogedor.

A pesar de que Cardiff Bay promueve establecimientos que admiten perros, esta cafetería definitivamente no lo es. Sin embargo, dan la bienvenida a los usuarios de portátiles para sentarse y bloquear mesas.

Vine aquí recientemente después del trabajo para algo de comida y un poco de viento por el día. Me sugirieron una visita de amigos, pero no había hecho una reserva, sin embargo, eso no fue un problema! Me recibió una camarera llamada Neeve y me dieron un menú sin problemas! Cuando pedí el filete e hice algunos ajustes se acomodó sin problemas y recibí mi comida rápidamente. Disfruto de mis filetes y tengo que decir que este fue uno de mis favoritos que he tenido. Cocinado a mi nivel deseado y con los ligeros cambios en la comida en su conjunto que hizo una comida muy sabrosa y un bien vale la pena el precio! Durante toda mi visita, Neeve me controló asegurándome de que la comida estuviera bien y si quería más bebidas, pero en ningún momento pensé que me estuvieran controlando demasiado o que saliera corriendo. En general, el servicio fue rápido y eficiente y la comida era buena y se adaptó a mis necesidades. Me aseguraré de visitar de nuevo y recomendar a otros para venir aquí. This was by far the best baguette shop in Cardiff. I visited around 5 times on Wednesdays last year after rediscovering the place (I had been a customer years earlier when I worked in Cardiff city centre). Everything was as good as I remembered, and the ambiance was great, good staff, faultless food and drinks. I’m only very sorry I didn’t visit more often when I had the chance, absolutely heartbroken it has gone. During those few visits, I got to remember a few faces and noticed repeat customers, it genuinely seemed like a friendly place and I hope those regulars have been able to find somewhere just as nice to go.

Normalmente vengo aquí por la mañana antes del trabajo para tomar café y algo de panadería. ¡Me gritó y reprendió con un lenguaje corporal extremadamente grosero un barista grosero (hombre con acento fuerte) como si hubiera hecho algo malo! La cafetería abre a las 8 am, que es la hora a la que llegué. Entré y me gritaron que me fuera, así que esperé afuera durante 8 minutos, ¡entonces salió y me dijo que me fuera a otro lugar! Extremadamente inaceptable, irrespetuosa y una forma equivocada de tratar a las personas. ¡Debe ser despedido!

One of the best places for a great coffee, always very decent, and value for money is definately continuous in terms of coffee. Shame that the desserts are average and over priced. Pastries are just average and tmuch more pricey than greggs or even Tesco. Bought a slice of biscoff cheesecake that was very flavourless, very small in portion and very expensive for the size and quality. For £3.50 and a tiny slice, I calculated that from the size they could make up to £30 per whole cheesescake thats costs £6 to make. Also it tasted frozen and isnt made fresh daily. Very dissapinted I have changed coffee places to a nearby cafe that sells the best pastries and same quality coffee. I cant invest in a company who rips people off no matter how good the coffee is, or how loyal I was. Companies are getting away with it all the time because people are just too nice and let owners bank accounts stay over full when theres people in poverty. Put the prices down or put the quantity of desserts up to retain my service. Im a home baker and should have stayed with coffee only. Not happy I was ripped off thinking it was gonna be the most amazing cheesecake ive ever tasted, that tasted like it was defrosted at some point. Stick to coffee if you are going to go here.

Rubbish app, rip off if ordering manually. We got there, noting that if you don't order in the app, there is a 7.5% surcharge for ordering with staff. After the app - which is rubbish - crashed twice, the one member of staff said that I could order manually, but had to pay the surcharge regardless. We left.
