Been coming here as a treat now and then for years and was always greeted nicely, particularly by a stand out member of staff called Gabe. Came in today on Sunday 22nd at roughly half 1 as a treat and the man on the front desk was rude and agitated. He mumbled his words and was leaning over the desk like he ‘couldn’t be bothered’. We proceeded to order our drinks, which most things we tried to order they had run out which we understood, but he got progressively more rude and agitated with us because we were ordering things they were out of. When we settled for a flat white with regular milk, he mumbled our order back to us and described the cows milk as “cold milk”. It may read that way on the till, but the way he said it made it sound like he was giving us cold milk on the side. I asked him to clarify and said my friend just wanted a regular flat white, and he then man-splanied to me that their milk comes in cold. I was obviously speechless to this because of the sheer bizarreness of his ‘customer service’. The interaction was punctuated with him throwing our food down on the counter and mumbling the name it was under. The man was mid 20s with dark hair. The other staff behind the bar seemed lovely and our drinks came out lovely as always. (Other than my mocha coming with cream when the man hadn’t asked me if I wanted that or not). Working in hospitality myself and frequenting various Starbucks as a treat, this has to be the rudest employee I’ve come across.

Hi I ordered 3 drinks from the restaurant. I accidentally picked up the wrong order. A young boy came and started accusing me of not paying. I had to justify myself and another staff member explained that I picked up the wrong order. The young boy was rude and aggressive and embarrassed me infront of customers claiming that I had not paid. He simply had to say that I picked up the wrong drinks by mistake. I didnt say anything at the time as I had my family with me and didn't want to cause a scene. He had strawberry blonde hair and looked no more than 20. I would think he needs to go through some training on customer services as this was unacceptable and would not be going there again.

What was once a friendly local supermarket now seems focused on virtual shoppers. It is not the fault of the staff who are first rate but the fact that Waitrose Byres Road is all about Deliveroo. It is often difficult to access the food as there are 6ft high trolleys being stacked for home delivery taking up the space with staff having to concentrate on fulfilling the online orders. It is too small a store to cope with this. I used to visit the store on a daily basis but now very rarely.

Worst Starbucks ever been to. Total chaos, wrong order, rude member of staff, another guy tried to make up for it. Dirty toilet. Need more staff!

We sat down for half an hour, no one had even looked in our direction , had to ask the staff if someone was going to serve us. We hadn’t even had a drink order taken. The manager came over and took our order and was very apologetic but it was clear the whole place was in a shambles - no one was being served and when they were the wrong food was coming out , the server didn’t even know what tables the food was for, they were asking the customers the table numbers even though there were no numbers on the tables. The worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. Food was average and over priced. Staff looked miserable. If it wasn’t for having a hungry 2 year old I would have walked out.

Stopped off here for a meal, which was good value for what we paid, £24.00 for 3 main courses and drinks. Meals arrived hot, which is a bonus, staff friendly and place clean.

I used to like visiting here but it is going downhill fast. The man on the counter was the most miserable person i have ever seen,he didn't smile once and was quite abrupt in his manner. This could have been due to him being alone at the counter doing everything whilst 3 staff members worked the drive thru.Service was really painfully slow even when another employee started helping. The entire restaurant was filthy,no tables were being cleaned and there was rubbish all over the floor.I probably won't return to this branch.

Awful owner, aggressive, rude, argumentative and horrible. Blaring music and owner shouting and demanding people to move tables mid food. Shocking experience and she should definitely not have a customer facing job. Not what is expected of a place in Milngavie. Coffee was overpriced Rolls stale and food awful Avoid at all costs

The senior management must thinks everything is rosy here - well it’s not ! Possibly the slowest ever coffee shop I’ve ever been to, they are far too busy with Just Eat & Deliveroo. Staff ignore customers at the till to fulfil Just Eat & Deliveroo orders, it’s not uncommon to wait 10minutes just to get served than Billy Whizz in the kitchen slowly and methodically makes your order after preparing the Just Eat & Deliveroo orders. The only reason I go is because it’s a good meeting point and it’s clean, apart from that the coffee is awful, food average and service terrible. Sorry if the truth hurts, but management should go in undercover and see the debacle of a coffee shop that bears your good name, if this place closes because of dropping footfall, blames yourselves for relying on Just Eat & Deliveroo to make money because people are voting with their feet.
