Ashers have a takeaway section plus a separate counter for the adjoining sit in restaurant in the downstairs part of the St Giles Shopping Centre. There is a good selection of hot and cold light lunch options plus soup, cakes, and filled sandwiches/ rolls, and the usual hot and cold drinks. Prices are what you would expect from this type of establishment. Service was quick and friendly from Jane and I had an enjoyable snack.

Un comienzo terrible para nuestras vacaciones, un servicio terrible, pedí sopa y cuando llegó, ¡sin cuchara! Tuve que pedir uno y los platos principales eran terribles, no cálidos y de mala calidad para lo que nos cobraron. El lugar no estaba ocupado y los pocos empleados que estaban alrededor tenían una actitud que no podía importarle menos, no volverá.

This cafe recently changed hands however carry out rolls and soup remain very tasty and competitively priced. Bacon roll delish and very good quality bacon. Other feedback for potato scones also very positive. It’s not really a sit in cafe as only one table to use while waiting on your order being made however excellent local choice for a quick carry out breakfast or lunch. Elderly Gentleman who serves is very nice and accommodating.

I have had afternoon tea for Mothers Day and Fathers Day. They delivered to me on a Sunday morning which meant food was very fresh. The staff are very helpful. Highly recommend.

Vino hoy para un pequeño aperitivo de desayuno. Prontamente y agradablemente servido por 2 señoritas detrás del mostrador. El rollo de salchicha Cumberland estaba en el lugar no podría haber sido mejor. Quería un vaso con hielo para mi Coca-Cola como siempre lo hago. Me alegro de encontrar un cubo de hielo de autoservicio después del mostrador y un montón de vasos, servilletas, etc. Me puse los auriculares y tuve la mejor hora y media del día. Bravo! 2 puntos muy diminutos: las pinzas serían mejor en el cubo de hielo la cuchara era muy incómoda. Los vasos eran diminutos, hubiera preferido uno del doble de tamaño. Pero aún así, un gran lugar y volveré, gracias!

Honestamente, este es uno de los peores lugares donde he comido. Recibí pollo crudo que era rojo por dentro y era solo la manera de atiborrarse por dentro todo el mundo empujando hasta allí solo para obtener algo de comida que no estaba a la altura de las expectativas

Awful owner, aggressive, rude, argumentative and horrible. Blaring music and owner shouting and demanding people to move tables mid food. Shocking experience and she should definitely not have a customer facing job. Not what is expected of a place in Milngavie. Coffee was overpriced Rolls stale and food awful Avoid at all costs

Bought a coffee and sausage roll Asked the assistant if she could give my dog a bowl of water … she said only for service dogs and if sitting in Poor show ! Wasn’t even a queue and I had bought food & drinks Not much to ask to give a dog some water really ….

All beef hot dogs with beef chill i get the beef in chilli but the dog who does that iv got a burning you know what that's how bad thar food is

We had breakfast on two occasions Sat 17th Feb and Sun 18th Feb 2024. My breakfast on the 17th was an 'English Breakfast' (didn't want square sausage) with a poached-egg. The breakfast was generally OK however, the poached was rubbery and the yolk over cooked. The tomato was almost uncooked but the hash-browns were nicely cooked. My wife had poached-eggs on toast which had been tortured in a similar manner to mine. On our second visit on the 18th we gave up waiting to use the single self-select terminal and ordered at the till. Unfortunately, we didn't realise that lorne-sausage is the terrible square-sausage. The tomato was virtually fresh from the vine, the beautiful field-mushroom was partially cooked the fried egg over-cooked and crispy at the edges. The tattie scones were tasty but overall it grieved me to see poor cooking and low standards prevailing. The staff were very friendly but the cook in the kitchen needs to be properly trained or moved to the checkout.

Lovely potato, toppings very, very small. Overpriced, would be surprised if it gets any repeat business. Never again.

Grim dive occupied by losers. Scared of anyone that isn’t local corrupting their gene pool. Would recommend avoiding if you aren’t attracted to members of your own family.

One of my fav coffee shops, with excellent coffee, and friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. I go there often.
