Flakes in South Ayrshire

Ordered via Just Eat. Food was AWFUL. Half chicken came as two chicken steaks and 3 wings…? On opening the bag the smell was awful - one bite told me it was off. Friend ordered rice box - half way in found a large black hair. Sent photos to restaurant but never even got a reply. Sending photos to Just Eat, they gave me a refund. Avoid!

First time visiting as had saw it often driving past and to be honest won't be back. Was no one else in and asked if I sit or order at the counter and the lady said sit snd she'd take my order in not the most welcoming manner. Waited 10 mins with no other customers as they sent out the just eat orders, ok now I'm thinking here we go but no continued with what the 2 behind the counter were doing as another made up boxes. Now I have no doubt they were busy doing something however had they said I'll be 10 mins and at keast acknowledged us or took an offer you know what that's fine. Service was literally none and 4 colleagues in there didn't even bother coming over We got up and left, I'm sure food is great but I'll never know

as a 16 year old just getting on my feet with work and trying different experiences by far this was the worst!! staff couldn’t answer any questions i had , didn’t help me i was standing alone trying to pick it up by myself and didn’t get paid for trial shift i worked 3 1/2 hours for , when my mum phoned to ask why i never got paid she was met by a rude and arrogant staff member to be told that i had never done a trial shift here and when he remembered who i was he said it took me 1 hour to make a milkshake when that was complete lies , he was then questioning my mum’s employment and commenting that here work force is “easy” , ally his name was and i don’t think i’ve met a ruder so called “staff member” after my mum threatened to phone his manager he shouted down the phone don’t bother he doesn’t care !

Well the food was good service not so much shouty and a lot of attitude from staff my sisters chicken was raw the burger was impossible to eat it always fell apart

Flakes Diner We were in on valentines night for my son's birthday and what can I say, absolutely BRILLIANT!!! Best Burgers we have ever had and the chicken wings or thighs(can't remember) amazing, deserts were omg delicious too. We were made very welcome and as it was my son's birthday, we appreciated the kind gesture of a complimentary birthday cake. My son was somewhat embarrassed lol but very happy!! 10/10 from us all, and will definitely recommend you to others and be back for some more amazing food!! Thanks so much for a lovely meal and we will be back!! Keep up the amazing work 👏 👌

When we visit Prestwick, Flakes is a must!! The kids absolutely love it, They have tried so many things on the menu but for them the cookie dough is a favourite. I myself love the bubble tea.

We always enjoy visiting here, the service has always been good. We have never had any problems with ordering online and collecting our desserts. There is such a wide variety on the menu and it's always expanding, we have tried various desserts and enjoyed every single one of them. Definitely worth trying when in prestwick!

i ordered two cookie doughs and an ice blast they took an hour to deliver it they forgot my ice cream. RAGING!!😡😡

i order online for delivery and paid 18 pound in total and they took half an hour to come and the cookie dough didn’t come with ice cream so we phoned up and said it was on its way and an hour later it finally comes and it’s disgusting and runny they also promised me cheese cake but forgot that to so don’t order from there go to vanilla joes 👍👍

Been here many times now, fantastic service, food is delicous and good sized portions. We have tried everything, from ice cream cones, cookie doughs, sundaes and waffles. Highly recommend.

Went here tonight for the first time. We pre-ordered using the app which gives 10% off first order and 5% further orders. We both had cookie doughs with ice cream, one with flake and nutella and another with brownies and nutella. Both were delicious, portions were huge that i struggled to finish it. Can wait to go back and try something else!

Worth veering off the Main Street to find this place. Basic seating but selection of ice cream makes up for that. Good value too.
