Tim Hortons in South Ayrshire

Excellent coffee shop. I visit tims every weekend and I am never disappointed. The French vanilla latte is excellent, the bacon and egg bagels are also fantastic. Better than Costa imo and although quite a small restaurant you rarely have trouble finding a seat.

Can be a hit and a miss as we have had a few disappointing visits but we went back today and I have to say it was great.

You don't go to Tim Hortons for the atmosphere, but they do sweet vegetarian breakfast muffins.

Waited 15minutes for a house brew. When I mentioned that was too long to wait the staff just laughed. No sorry for the wait or anything.

Go for breakfast every week great coffee would recommend it

The coffee was machine made with one button press, too hot and not a good flavour.

The food was absolutely freezing was definitely not just prepared and sent and they never gave us any straws for our ice latte drinks

It's not much different from any other coffee shop out there..

Have been drinking coffee from here for some years now, but I'm becoming increasingly unhappy with the cleanliness of outside and inside. The entrance at door always littered, the tables and chairs are always dirty, even food crumbs, the floor always dirty even has waste food. Some of the younger staff are extremely pleasant while others never smile. I am a customer but feel undervalued and on occasions unwelcome. Shame as I've just about had enough of this place.

Food quality is good ,but waiting time is terrible

Best time to go is between 10.00am and 11.00am. It's taken me quite a while to get used to Tim's, especially after having Greggs and Costa as my usual places for many years but my opinion has changed completely.... I highly recommend their delicious hot and fluffy pancakes 🥞 with syrup (best in the area I may add) and a large mocha ☕, perfect breakfast on those cold and chilly days!☺️ In brighter and warmer weather, go for their fabulously creamy frapps and ice capps! 😎

Came in for lunch yesterday with my wife.we love Tim Hortons.got two meals and a doughnut each.bill was just over 20 pounds.food was good but it was quiet and we had to listen to the staff shouting singing and swearing in the back kitchen.not sure if that’s acceptable.on our way out there standing outside smoking and on vapes.i can see why it’s quiet.

I have try breakfast menu so I had to try lunch/dinner. Fresh, tasty, no words to describe how delicious it was!

Today was my first order. Food was absolutely fantastic! The hash browns was a little bit burnt but I can live with that because the rest was delicious. Everything was packed nice and neat. Clean. Very efficient service from the restaurant and delivery lady. I will be back!

Absolutely horrible. I ordered two days in a row because the first day my food was freezing and the drink was wrong. Today i ordered again and it was the same. i called up the store and got cheek from the staff. They stated they tried to call me regarding my drink change, but didn't as my phone was in front of me for hours, and also substituted it for something that i cannot drink. i had also preordered this over an hour prior and it came very late still. The food was absolutely freezing and im very angry that i have only been refunded a small portion of this.

The french vanilla latte and the ice caps are the best about. The breakfasts are also a lot better than the nearby fast food alternatives. The donuts are also spot on as well.

Nothing gluten free,BUT coffee was lush.

Ordered a large drink and received a medium. Food was cold. And delivery was late

everything I've had from Tim Hortons has been stunning. was a bit apprehensive trying a new place, however reading reviews I thought why not. and quite easily it has become my favourite place!

Food was very average for the price. Although advised sitting in, food was served in a brown takeaway bag and takeaway coffee cups. First time in Tim hortons and doubt f I will be back.

I'm sorry, I'm probably just a snob but it really worries me that people eat like this. Poor quality food, atmosphere like a supermarket.

Lovely Atmosphere. Quality Food and Drinks. Girls were so helpful and friendly. One of the cleanest Branch of Tim's I ever visited. Highly Recommended Definitely we will be back when passing by.

My food was fine but mayo on the burger thing. I didn't realise or I would have asked for it without. Lack of milk to top up my coffee My pal sucked something solid through her straw in her iced latte. Which was off putting

This is the first time I’ve been disappointed in my meal. Everything was cold, lattice fries were overcooked and freezing. Extra dip ordered was missing (which isn’t the first time this has been missing).

Terrible service every time I go there. It can take anywhere between 5 to 10 minute for them to pour your coffee into a cup and serve it to you. It's painful to watch, really. I miss timmies in Canada, so I was excited to see this open a few years ago. I keep going because it's nostalgia for me, but the service is terrible.

Coffee and donuts are excellent, other food can be a bit hit or miss.

Took ages to get my order. Had the coffee made 10 mins before the food was ready. The person working the collection board was totally out of sync with the kitchen. Not the best experience, unfortunately

Took my wife for a drink and a couple of doughnuts. I have visited this place a few times with my daughter and the doughnuts were always soft and tasted as though they were just cooked. Today however they were very dry, as though they were stale. I had six different ones and they all tasted hard and stale. So I went up the road to Asda and bought two nice, fresh soft doughnuts for less than the coast of one stale one from Hortons. Recommend you do the same!!

Stayed across in the Travelodge and thought it would be great to visit the above as it had a good name.... Why... Firstly the server was outside the kitchen door smoking talking to his mate that was cooking inside, then the seating area looked very inviting with tables in cleared and dirty. I found a cleanish table round the back where we sat and had I natcho cheese burger and nacho fries a box of timbits with two coffees......cheese burger looked like it had been microwaved as the bun was soggy , lettuce not been crisp since 2001, and the cheese was all around the wrapper, nach crisps, were soggy tasteless and over priced, the timbits were made four days ago well that's how they tasted, chewy, heavy and again tasteless and the coffee was nothing special but it helped to take away the smell of whatever the chap was spraying on the tables around where we were sitting... Only my findings and how I found the establishment..

One nacho burger, one nacho fries, 2 cappucino coffees, box of 20 mixed timbits (delicious!!❤️) .... £22+ Coffees rotten, burger looks disgusting, tastes cheap n rotten, crinkle fries average. Staff were pleasant. Overall, (apart from wee timbits, 20 @ £7.49) total waste of money. Wouldn't visit again..... EVER!!

Cappuccino with extra shot was terrible, wrap and hash brown room temp at best. Was nice but food could of been hotter and coffee could’ve been less bitter

Not great coffee and awful dobits

Amazingly, this was my first ever visit to the chain (most folk were in disbelief at that). Situated conveniently next to the Travelodge we were staying at, I managed to pop in a couple of times. I had the pleasure of trying the Crispy Chicken Wrap with a Smore’s Caramel Latte to drink - both were great. I then visited for a Breakfast, ordering their take on a Maccy’s DS&E McMuffin Meal - genuinely thought it was better, in particular the Hash Brown. Price wise, it was definitely cheaper than other leading fast food retailers. Very much a revelation - just a pity they’re not dotted about a bit more in Scotland. Would happily return in the future.

Order took 1 hour and 15 mins when it stated 35 mins. Understand these things happen but then when the order came it was wrong. Paid for a hash brown, never received it. Paid for caramel syrup in my latte, never got it. Food was cold.

Three missing items, one of which I could not get a refund for, ridiculous. Order to have a nice quick meal and have to have hassle with getting things refunded is ridiculous.

Ayr always quick, friendly service and quiet enough to grab a table.

We popped in for some breakfast, the service was good and quick. The food was very tasty and warm. The self service kiosks were both broken and the menu is too small to read but would recommend!

Looked okay but told nothing for Gluten free and that was it. Very disappointed give a list and only a hash Brown would be possir.

We had 2 lovely hot fresh cheese and ham melts and coffees with a cinnamon bun which was also lovely and fresh staff were pleasant and the service was fast even though it was busy.

Popped in at 11am to sit in for some breakfast. Waited about 15/20 minutes for our order, but we did order the veggie options, so that's average I guess. Food was OK, a bit on the greasy side. The reason for 2 stars? I have no idea what was going on in the kitchen, but we left smelling like we had spent the whole day working in a greasy spoon café.. All our clothes, jackets, hair, bags everything smelled of grease. Disgusting. I think they have to invest in better extraction fans or maybe check that the one the have is working!

Went in for breakfast, service a bit slow, but we ordered the veggie option, so kinda used to it taking longer. Food was ok, a bit greasy though. Why the 2 stars? When we got outside we all smelled like we had been working in a greasy spoon café all day! Our hair, clothes, jackets, bags everything, absolutely disgusting! Took our grandkids for breakfast without checking the menu and they immediately went for the pancakes with Nutella. All breakfasts are £3.49 so great value. You know the kids have enjoyed themselves when you leave and they’re covered in chocolate. 😂🥳🥳

First time at this chain and was pleasantly surprised with their offerings. Wide ranging menu, settled for a big breakfast wrap and apple caramel fritter. Food was hot and tasty. Restaurant was clean and staff were very friendly.

Fantastic service Came in for a coffee and donut with hubby and my 2 year old. Lovely donuts! Coffee was lovely. Little one enjoyed her donut and strawberry milkshake ! Will definitely be back ! Thank you 6/6/23 - visited again with my 3 year old she tried the vanilla doughnut with sprinkles ans jam inside she approves. I tried a crushed ice caramel coffee and it was amazing Always great service when I come in and to top it all off we got 2 free mugs !

The staff here are great! Aaron is an excellent example to others, he's always friendly and whenever I've seen him interacting with newer staff members, he's super helpful and accommodating.

You know its just a burger joint dont you Well i think you would be wrong. The breakfast meal with the Guatemalan coffee upgrade had to be the nicest burger breakfast I’ve had ever. And its just cops in the USA like doughnuts for breakfast
