Tesco Cafe in South Ayrshire

I've been waiting for about 35 minutes to get two breakfest meals. In this time, customers who ordered after me received their meal before me. The food was good but waiting time was over my limit and I can't even blame the staff who worked hard but the management/ duty manager for the lack of organization.

Good breakfast and good friendly staff.

Was in the restaurant in ayr i sat at a seat at the window but had to move the window sill is filthy cup teastain marks but worse was the amount of dead flies I refuse to believe that when the staff are cleaning the tables that they don't see this disgraceful.

Almost zero plant based options, just the breakfast. I had a lovely view out to the racecourse though. Surely some other plant based options could be available? Pretty poor by Tesco. The staff seemed embarrassed by the menu.

We were staying in Ayr in early April. We were looking for a decently priced breakfast and decided to try here. First bonus was that we could charge our electric car while we ate. Second bonus was the view! Locals, you don't know how lucky you are. Sadly, there were only 3 tables with this amazing view, but on both occasions we were early enough to get the window tables. We had Shaksuka style eggs, (which had a bit of a kick to it, but not too much) and Chorizo breakfast eggs on our first visit. The Chorizo was so good that when we returned for our second visit we both had that. We will most likely be breakfasting here on our next visit to the area.

My husband and I like to visit cafe before doing our shopping. Friendly staff add to our enjoyment

Great staff..pretty decent lunch

They made a veggie breakfast for me even though it is not shown on their posted menu. Very happy they did as I don't consume pork or any of its byproducts. A great place to visit as you can see the horse race track through their large windows as you dine! :)

Tesco's is OK but not my regular shop, I only go there is i can't be arsed looking around for cheaper elsewhere.

How many people work in this Tesco? Surely one person can recognise the distinct smell of pish. I could smell it before I was anywhere near the toilets. My best guess is that the smell was coming from this crusty urine buildup lurking under the loo seats (pictured). Maybe Tesco should think about getting their staff's noses checked. Friendly staff and quick service. Quite cold and draughty however due to the cafe being open to the shop floor and adjacent to the front door.

On a miserable day weather wise decided on spur of the moment to try the Tesco eatery.Was well laid out, staff very friendly, on arrival and departure.Food was most satisfying and nicely presented. Coffee and tea good standard.Overall very pleased with the place.

Purchased a sandwich today my partner purchased a baked potato sandwich was an absolute mess would have been better buying a take away sandwich from the shop downstairs lettuce was brown and it was ends of loaf complained got a toastie this was horrible aswell will not be back

Yo no suelo comprar en Tesco pero fui este día con mi nuevo bebé recién nacido. Tuve que darle el biberón a él durante las así cuando hasta café con mi bebé llorando,el personal de la cafetería no podría haber sido más agradable, amable y servicial. Me compré un café y la chica joven me traería más que como tuve a mi bebé en asiento de coche para llevar a zona de estar.Comencé a alimentar a mi bebé y ella ofrecen a buscarme el azúcar, etc. si necesita hacer que no tienen que levantarse.Este gesto pequeñito pero muy agradable y servicial hicieron mi día, a menudo te hacen sentir un poco incómodo cuando no deseados y alimentación a sus hijos en público.Así que muchas gracias chicos! ! !

Good large shop selling groceries clothes electrical iems etc. Next to Ayr racecourse and Mcdonalds burgers

its clean here and the prices are what you would expect from tesco but there never seems to be much to eat here apart from snacks? its a very quiet cafe, mostly because hardly anyone uses it, i wonder why (!)

Food looked good but oh what a disappointment Stale burger buns toasted to hide the fact they were less than fresh Beef burger over cooked or reheated tough and tasteless Chips over cooked or had been hanging about for sometime Asked to speak with duty manager to let her/ him see the food on offer Alleged duty manager arrived no name badge no introduction and immediately passed me to the Restaurant manager and left no apology not concerned this lady not in staff uniform took on board my issues not greatly bothered just wanted to get me a refund which I did not really want as I had eaten some of the meal and hoped I would eat with them again.....Sorry this cafe is one to avoid ....

Staff were friendly, cleanliness was average and the food was ok - we only stopped for tea and cake.

Fuimos a ayr mercado temprano en domingo no mucho hacerlo fuimos a tesco para un café. En su lugar tenía un desayuno y café bien este era un desayuno 2 huevos 2 sasages frijoles y papas fritas y una bacon roll bien me rellenas con una gran relación calidad-precio y cocinado a la perfección será volver

After coming here previously, I was amazed at the difference in the cafe. Its all been remodelled and is all table service now. Decent Coffee and a cook to order menu with decent comfy seating. What a difference.

Late lunch. Orders are placed at the till and the food is prepared and served to your table. Tea and coffee arrived in about 5 minutes but the meals took about 30 minutes by which time the drinks were finished. The waitress did apologise and offered us another drink.
