Tim Horton in South Lanarkshire

Hi I ordered 3 drinks from the restaurant. I accidentally picked up the wrong order. A young boy came and started accusing me of not paying. I had to justify myself and another staff member explained that I picked up the wrong order. The young boy was rude and aggressive and embarrassed me infront of customers claiming that I had not paid. He simply had to say that I picked up the wrong drinks by mistake. I didnt say anything at the time as I had my family with me and didn't want to cause a scene. He had strawberry blonde hair and looked no more than 20. I would think he needs to go through some training on customer services as this was unacceptable and would not be going there again.

I waited over an hour for a delivery of cheese and ham toasted which is cold and chewy for a £5, absolutely disgusting

First time visiting here and will not be back again Ordered a lovely looking latte that was advertised on the board outside ...had to break it down for the staff as to what it was. It was luke warm. The cake was ok as were the Timbits I noticed there were lots of tables with cups and food waste on other tables that were not used by anyone However, the most disgusting thing was there was a table right against a bin...if that was not bad enough the bin was overflowing. When I was paying for the coffee I was told t was card only ... I asked why they said it was due to COVID......oh my word. If the place was clean I would have agreed

Popped in for a coffee and snack. Wish we hadn't bothered! Place wasn't busy but when we walked in we spotted past customer's waste on every table plus the condiments section when the bins are were all overflowing with rubbish. I asked to have a table cleaned prior to sitting down and the reaction I received was as if I'd asked for the contents of the till! I know it's not a 5 star hotel but you expect a bit basic cleanliness.

I've never had a good experience but this was the last straw. We went in for a seasonal pumpkin spice latte but it wasn't in stock, so I asked for a maple latte but it wasn't in stock, so I asked for a vanilla latte but there was no vanilla....seriously?? Ended up with an iced latte, they had ice thank goodness but I saw advertised a gorgeous looking Christmas sandwich. A toastie advertised with turkey, cranberry, cheese and all toasted together. What I got was worse than dog food. It was 2 sliced hot gods on warm damp bread with cranberry sauce on the outside !!! Seriously! My bill was over £15 was absolute Muck and it was disgusting. The staff said sorry but did nothing about it. I emailed to complain and heard nothing, I messaged on social media and heard nothing. Do not go here. The food, the drinks and staff are terrible. Don't go

Was in Tim hortons the other day ordering a drink, looked over to the donuts 🍩 and was horrified to see a massive fly sitting on them. I told a staff member who waved it away only to come back again...won't be buying from here anymore..🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷

we called in for drinks and snacks about an hour before closing time and they'd already sectioned part of the café off and were so busy cleaning they weren't interested in serving - it took ages! The drinks were okay bu we felt the staff were resentful of us being there so close to closing time.

Overpriced lukewarm food and poor service. Order was deposited on counter and staff member shouted the contents of the bag before walking away. Food order was also wrong. Condiments were running low and there were no napkins available. Everything else aside, the food is just disappointing. Bland tasting and not much of it. Won’t be back.

Had a burger which resembled a canned Goblin burger from circa 1970. Didn't resemble beef and tasted as bad as it looked. Just awful.

This was my first visit in a few months and I took my youngest grandson in for coffee and cake. It was fairly quiet inside (2pm midweek) which was good as there were plenty of seating. The tables were socially-distanced and appeared to be clean. I found the service to be prompt and pleasant. The coffee, Apple fritter and Timbits were very good too.

...... especially during Covid times. Although hand sanitizer was available at the door, the queuing system was not apparent & the tables had not been cleaned for a while - seating was none too clean either. Ordered two cappuccinos and two donuts from a very surly & unhelpful lass. Had to go back to ask for sugar & a stirring stick, and then return again to ask for chocolate which was grudgingly provided - I though the idea was to minimise contact! Will try elsewhere next time in East Kilbride.

Went today with family for lunch today. Spent £16.98. I ordered a festive crispy chicken sandwich. As usual was not a photograph/ vid at menu. Had taken a few bites to realise there were several ingredients missing. (Cheese and bacon) i then went up to till and got a cook who making them and asked for it to be changed. I waited a few minutes and was given a sandwich from the guy. Returned to seat and found it was my original sandwich with added cheese and bacon. I again took it back to till operator and said I wanted a fresh sandwich as advertised. He said this would be a few minutes for a new one and I again returned to my seat. A few minutes later managed to get my attention and I collected the replacement sandwich. This was obviously just thrown together and ingredients were upside down in sandwich. I Just ate as I was so hungry by then and I thought would write this in order they seriously must review their quality control and customer service. ( I received no apology for all this!) I also feel in light of coronavirus restrictions i was exposed to unnecessary risk on multiple trips to the till. Seriously need sorted out as we will never be coming here again after today.

Food was good. Asked for sugar and the guy gave me sweeteners. Never noticed until I had poured the sweetener in. Ordered milk in my order too, was charged for it and never received. Difficult times I know but more attention is required.

Went in here as I had never tried Tim’s coffee, wish I hadn’t bothered and went to Costa. Coffee was ok, staff a bit surly but ok. Only table available was a leather couch which was stained and sticky, table still had cups etc from last customer. Only looked like 2 staff were on but the whole time I was there only one other customer was served, and my table and another table were not cleaned or cleared of cups etc. Not very good in the current climate. I thought (as happens in Costa), seats,tables etc had to be sanitised before another customer sat down! Not good “Tim” not good!

Was in for quick coffee whilst wife was shopping. (First time)Coffee was ok, staff ok but a bit “surly ”. Seats and table were not cleared of last customer’s coffee cups, seats were stained and sticky! Not good in the current climate.Seemed to be only 2 staff on, but when I was in no one was at counter waiting for service, so staff had adequate time to clear tables, which they didn’t in the 45 mins I was in! Don’t think I’ll be back!

Went for breakfast and had the egg and bacon muffin, they aren’t too big but come with a hash brown. Also had a donut which was very fresh. Cappuccino was frothy but the Americano was a bit on the weak side.Friendly staff, clean surroundings. Excellent Covid measures in place

First time in here Lovely seats Friendly and helpful staff Never had to long to wait For our order Lovely cakes also

We thought we would try Tim Hortons for a change, thinking just coffee and a cake. When we saw they did breakfasts we thought wow, let’s go for it. My daughter opted for the toasted sausage bagel, I had the breakfast wrap meal. Not a patch on the same as we would have got at McDonald’s. We think we will give this one a miss next time. Sorry!

What a shambles, firstly we waited for about 20-25 minutes for our lunch. Having waited for 10-15 to be served. Not happy with the food. And the toilet didn't have any toilet paper. We asked the staff for some, but ended up using napkins from the counter. We won't be back.

The food is mediocre The coffee is average The staff are uninspiring The Furnishings are fine. WiFi is good.

Slow service, underwhelming food, and wrong order given. Won't be returning.due to incompetence of staff.

went for breakfast with my wife had bacon bap very poor for two quid it was tiny with a couple of the smallest thinnest pieces of bacon i have ever seen wife had sausage-egg not much better greggs near by go there and dont waste your money

Tea was rotten,cake stale .even the second cup that was a replacement, Staff were friendly, I found the place to be a bit grim all round

Was in Tim Horton's in Toronto 20 years ago with my daughter!! was in EK today and had to visit. Excellent coffee, superb muffins and friendly staff

Ordered steak and cheese panini with wedges today was really disappointed very minimal steak didn’t even cover the panini and the wedges were all soggy

It's not a patch on Timmys in Canada, too fast food atmosphere. Very few comfortable seats. Tables are few too and instead opt for high tables & stools. Not be returning.

Dirty tables, slow service and poor quality food. Loads of staff but all running around crazy while even a small number of customers causing a big queue. Food was awful. Steak and cheese panini consisted mostly of warm mayonnaise

went in today - place messy with rubbish piling up - ordered chicken sandwich and wedges - told no chicken or wedges available so had to opt for cheese toastie, husband and son went for festive toastie

A lovely place to pop into for a nice wee break after a bit of shopping. Staff are nice and you can do a wee bit of people watching. They are a good selection of things to eat and drink as well as a good price. A must for a wee break.

We went in for a bite to eat. I struggled to find a table which was clean, this was at 12.30 pm. Eventually I found a table which was less dirty than the rest. I ordered a Ham and Cheese toasty meal.

love a coffee in here but i am a bit perturbed that you are not allowed to tip the staff......who are great

Great staff, really helpful, just came in for a coffee, but enjoyed the banter with our server and everything was lovely!

Visited this Tim Hortons today and just like the other id been to the coffee was ok, not bad, but I do think the likes of Nero and Starbucks coffee is nicer. The staff were friendly enough but the service is a little slow. I also got a portion of the Tim Bits while there, they’re cheep and cheerful and quite nice to have with your coffee. On the whole, I’d come back but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I am in EK shopping centre regularly and I alternate between here and Starbucks. Both serve good cappuccino and have good pastries (cinnamon swirl at Starbucks and apple fritter at Tim’s).

Didn't get the hype when a tiny one opened in Glasgow. Apparently it was queued out. Soft drinks and toasties cant be too difficult to arrange. Staff incompetent and food order wrong. How can three cheese toasties and a cake with a few soft drinks go wrong......and it cost a fortune!!! Staff had a care less attitude.

Very disappointing in comparison to Canadian outlets. Coffee was ok. Doughnuts are just average. Something missing, kinda like kids party doughnuts not of any great quality. Range of choice nowhere near canadian branches, newish outlet and place already has a kinda shabby, untidy look about it.

We popped in for a cappuccino & a frozen lemonade on our way home from a day shopping. It was empty but the service was really slow. The frozen lemonade we got was only half full & the lid was dirty, it had splashes on it (we didn't notice until we got to the bus) It was a takeaway we got & trying to hold the cup with the cappuccino in it was nearly impossible (I had to put a tissue around it) because of the heat coming through the cup. The only positive was that the cappuccino was lovely so that's the only reason I've rated it average

Tried Tim Horton's a couple of times now, and the first time coffee was lovely. Americano was nice and strong. The second the Americano was kind of insipid and was not finished. When i commented on this I was told that I should pay the extra and have a second shot in the cup. Sorry but I am not too keen on paying extra to get a good cup of coffee that was good the first time.

Having visited Tim Horton’s in Vancouver I was pleasantly surprised how well this brand had travelled. Coffee was good & Tim Bits are great & best of all it’s very reasonable ! It’s a winner for me !!

I don't get it TBH. Yeah the coffee is cheap, but not great....the filter that is. The food is unusually flavoured and the timbits are blah. They make a good flat white though.

Prior to our visit I thought all the talk of Tim Horton 's was just typical hype by a large food chain and intentionally stayed away. I would prefer to go to Costa across the way, but the kids asked to go to try the timbits so I reluctantly agreed and when ordering was pleasantly surprised by the range of wraps and sandwiches available which are all reasonably priced. The coffee is tasty and fresh and you can actually get cream as an option rather than just milk which is not heard of here ( and it's not those rotten wee capsules of cream either) all in all I can say it may well push my preferred Costa into second place for somewhere tasty and affordable to get a bite in EK.

This new branch of Tim Horton at the East Kilbride Shopping Centre only opened in November 2017. It’s located in a prime position, opposite Costa (they must love that) and across from M&S.; I have been twice and it was busy both times. The staff were friendly but some are clearly still being trained so be patient.
