It was good food and great service the waitress Louise checked on us the whole time

Ate here recently with friends, on a beautiful sunny day. The restaurant was bright and airy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, although an item on the munu (Sloppy Joe) was no longer available to order, due to a product recall. That won't stop me from going back

Food was lovely, the home run burger could have had more flavouring to the burger as it didn't taste of Jalapeños in the sausage. The rest of the meals where AMAZING and Jamie and Louise were great and friendly 😌

We like to come here fairly often as it's a very chilled out atmosphere and today was no different, food is always great and Alana and Stephen were bang on it today and very lovely servers

Not been for a while but the atmosphere is still good. No food this time but what I saw looked delicious. Staff friendly especially Heather and Louise. Always have time for a chat while serving. Make you feel welcome. New lay out that you collect your own cutlery and sauces which is good. Toilets are clean. The Procecco is still £10.99 at the weekend. I think it's about £15 during the week. Some of the lagers are about £5.80 a pint bit pricey. It's my local and will definitely be back. Clean tidy and friendly staff

Very nice place my fiancée and I popped in for a bite to eat 1 x Southern fried chicken meal and A had the lamb kofta flat bread which was so tasty and full Incorporates Greek Turkish and a think Italian with the salad on the flatbread. A had large portion😍 but you can get a small definitely would have this dish a again a would definitely recommend this well thought up dish a break the mold from the normal also server Louise was so polite and hopeful thank you Louise.

Was here last night having drinks with work friends. Booked a table for 15 and about 25 turned up and they accommodated us no bother. Staff were really friendly and our tables were kept clear of used glasses all night. The new deco around the mirrors in the ladies toilets looks fab.

My husband and I are starting to become regulars in January we love the fish and chips and can’t believe it’s 2 for £12.99. We couldn’t do it ourselves for that. We will 100% keep coming back. Thanks to Jamie and the whole team.

Quick, hot decent food for a impromptu lunch. Lovely staff especially Louisea who was really friendly, helpful and chatty.

Came in on Friday for a bite to eat. We were seated really quickly and the food was an amazing surprise. We were not expecting for much for the price but it was great. We were served by a guy with a beard and Louise who made us welcome with a bit of chat and plenty smiles. Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely family meal, food was great especially the sticky toffee pudding. The only small criticism would be that the food didn't always arrive together and the child's food was served last for both main and dessert.

Always a lovely atmosphere, the service is really great and that staff are all nice. Food is good quality. Huge thanks to Louise who was very knowledgeable about all the offers in place and was very polite. Will come again!

Great meal on the 8th of August! We had meals from the special two for £12 arrived prompt, very fresh, tasty and hot! Puddings were the same! Great service from Alana and Jamie, warm and friendly and made to feel very welcome! This is our local and we probably don’t use it as much as we should but as we start approaching the autumn and winter we will most definitely become more regulars!

Fantastic place to go for some nice food and drinks. The kids love it here. The staff are great and are so friendly even recognising us after return visits. Would highly recommend!

Had a 47 th Wedding anniversary with my wife. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful,The food was good Mrs H had the sea bass I had a Katsui curry. All good. The Staff made us a Sweet saying Happy Anniversary ❤️. How nice was that. X

Today I went to the oystercatcher I have mot been in a while. The lemonade here is very nice. And the lemonade to ice ratio was very reasonable. Most other places you get lemonade with your ice! But not at the oystercatcher in east kilbride! The people on deck Mark and Alana were very accommodating of my needs. And offerd me kind words on. Will I be back again? Of course Much nicer atmosphere than some other establishments in eastkilbride that offer a similar service. All in great experience THANKYOU Calum Iain Mckechnie

Food looks nice but I've never tried it, looks reasonably priced for food, service was good and when we were in it was quiet so can't really comment on atmosphere but I would imagine it would be OK

Had Heather and Alana serve us, they were great. Lovely food, good venue, fast turnaround, lovely to their four-legged customers.

Lovely pub with great food and nice atmosphere. Our meals were great value and great quality, would definitely come and visit again. The oystercatcher is also dog friendly which really helps attract a nice family clientele and contributes to a the atmosphere of the place. The staff were friendly, our serves Heather and Alana made us feel welcomed right away.

Had a lovely early dinner. We sampled a couple of the new menu items. They were delicious. We were served by Louise, and she was very attentive, friendly, and efficient.

Alana and Stephen were great hosts and provided a really good time. Had a three course meal for 6 adults and 1 child. All of the food came out timely and well cooked. Was very good for gluten free.

amazing place we stopped in after shopping next door and got a lovely lunch with the amazing alana serving us and brining my little girl a toy to keep her occupied and the lovley stephen brining us all of our food and getting smiles from my little one :) amazing place with amazing food and staff !

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch. Louise was a very attentive server and gave good recommendations. A few children playing in the restaurant but it’s summer holidays so wouldn’t expect anything less.

Monday evening so quiet which obviously affects atmosphere. Service from Steven exceptional as he not only made sure everything was to our satisfaction but even smoothed things over with the wee one after we had ordered the wrong dessert on the app. Full marks.

Didn't have any food,service wasn't very good Meant to stay open ltr but closed an hour early due to staffing problems on a Saturday nite.I was in with a crowd of us,12 a family gathering.My brother was told they didn't stock a drink that he's been drinking in there for ages lol

What a difference in the Oystercatcher in the last year or so. Food has improved, and service has improved hugely. This is our local but we used to walk past here to go to another pub/ restaurant as the food and service was so poor. We now come here very regularly. It’s great for children with its child friendly menu and safe outdoor space.

Lovely restaurant, staff very friendly. Had light lunch, was lovely toasted wraps and salad. Very reasonable, soft drinks great value. Lots of choice and special offers every day. Toilets were immaculate.

Louise has served us two weeks in a row now she is so lovely and made such an effort to speak to my wee boy

Sorry would not recommend this place No atmosphere did not have my selection of diriks although the selection is sometimes available ordered 2 dishes which we have previously ordered from another estate establishment in the chain which we had previously enjoyed but the sizzeler was not sizzling and the vega tables were cold and undercooked because the sizzler tray was cold the other dish not of the same quality as the other site we were very disappointed and will not be back unfortunately we are unable to recommend any dishes

pretty quiet with it being the bank holiday so service was fast, out server Louise was great with the 3 kids in our group, she couldn't have been nicer. only down side was the onion rings 😔

Third time being here, thinking improvement of food ,let down again big time, fish and chips liol, fish absolutely cremated , was never asked how’s your meal , therefore won’t be back, wife’s chicken skewers were cold obviously not heated up in microwave properly big massive let down told friends and family to avoid like the plague, NEVER AGIAIN .

We had to wait about 10 minutes for somone to come behind the bar to serve us there was no-one about asked the girl on the floor who was clearing a table to get served the girl said she would serve us when she took the dishes to the kitchen she did apologise and served us no problems

It's 13.00hrs on Friday 03 May and only ONE stressed employee taking orders behind the bar, serving drinks & providing table service for meals. There are 14 people waiting to be served! The service in the Oystercatcher has always been poor but today it's beyond tolerable and there is much discontent even among those patrons that have been served.

Bar man mark was top class … food was brilliant fresh and tasty …

Very disappointing ☹️ Fish was dry, grey and tasteless …… not fresh & white like haddock should be. Hubby’s mash potato had a dry ‘crust’ on it. Worst lunch we’ve had out since the other Hungry Horse venue in East Kilbride last year ……… won’t be back

Drinks are okay. Desserts are good but unfortunately food is awful. I got steak pie. It was burn throughout breaking it with fork was a mission impossible. It was dryer than Sahara 🤣🤣🤣 Come for drinks or dessert but avoid food

Was in on Tuesday night with my family and a lovely meal. The team all lovely..so attentive…especially Mark who was so friendly and made sure all our needs were met. Great family atmosphere and also they have sports on all of there telly…happy days!! Thanks guys…we will be back.
