One of the worst Costa for drinks you’ll ever visit. Pure slop in a cup.

Lots of staff just walking about

Popped in for takeaway coffees. Place was busy with lunchtime shoppers. Service was quick and staff were helpful making sure I had cup holders as I was buying several hot drinks

Didn't give me whipped cream on my drink when it was on my order. 😠And also rude staff forgot to include a gingerbread man for my friends drink.

A bit expensive for me but we wanted something different. One thing is they make great coffee

Im a fan of Costa in general over other similar brands. This specific Costa is nice but they could definitely do with extra staff at some time of the day

Friendly staff and always able to get seated.

Undercooked food, rude staff who'd rather speak on the phone to their partner than deal with my order, just an awful experience overall. The stuff on offer is standard Costa, but the cleanliness is poor and staff are so disengaged from everything except making sure everything is "cleaned" and switched off well before closing time.

Food is really expensive Nd nothing special, service is poor, they are always having a chat and you have to wait on them being ready. Hot choc cream is disgusting. And marshmallows, they are disgusting since they changed them over. Which I don't know why, also I think they charge if you sit in. All you can get is a roll or sandwich.

Great service quick and freindly

Nice food and drink, staff are very friendly and helpful when trying to work the App. The layout is a bit cramped but this is just the restriction with size of premises. They are now utilising the outside shop space for additional seating but should expand this further and remove some internal tables to allow more space for prams/wheelchair users as it is particularly tight. Nice place to enjoy a quick bite in a centralised part of the town centre wher there is little left of food places.

Coffee good. Cake a bit hard. Tables lying for a while dirty and not cleared.

Great coffee, friendly staff, lots of seating and always clean. Costas can be really hit or miss in terms of coffee quality and I've always found this one to be great.

A decent coffee shop. I prefer Costa to Starbucks in general as I think they have a better range of drinks and food. Not a great atmosphere in this one, but that's probably due to the fact it was in a busy shopping centre. They also had the air conditioning up too high which was making my wife cold. There was some unexpected 'entertainment' when a pigeon walked in a few times (seemed to be a regular as it returned even after being shooed out of the shop a few times! 😂) My wife had the bubble mango drink, and I had the peach ice tea. Good service, too - the person cleaning the tables made sure we got a clean table and could get the wheelchair (which my wife uses) right up to it. Overall a decent experience and a few more points on my loyalty card for a free coffee sometime in the future!

Hmm, just ok. Came here after work to get a nice coffee and was looking forward to it - wasn't asked if I wanted to sit in, barked at by the staff and definitely too expensive for a coffee in a paper cup because they were closing soon. Literally rubbish service and they didn't look like they wanted to be there. Should have gone somewhere else.

Yesterday the Costa wasn't busy due to the great weather. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Good selection of food and drinks. As always, the staff are always smiling and helpful. Nothing is to much for them. Highly recommended.

Coffee great, staff lovely. However, it has terrible acoustics, feels like there isn't any sound deadening which makes it louder and has the sound arriving at different times. If you have even mild sound sensory sensitivity this will likely be painful. luckily there is some outside seating which was quieter, you cant control mall muzack.

Wouldn't let me redeem the free coffees or my birthday cake offer

Bit disappointed in our recent visit. My daughter and I expected more I guess from the festive selection but it was all very bland. I had an Irish cream latte with an After Eight muffin and my daughter had a chocolate orange hot chocolate with an After Eight muffin. Looked better in the buy one get one free leaflet but it was all very tasteless. So glad that we didn't play full price for it.

Shocking experience at the mini Costa next to ice rink. Untrained barista got my order wrong and my toastie was shoved into the takeaway sleeve that when removed was unidentifiable. Looked like something the dog had spewed up. Really slow service. 15 mins and I was the second person in the queue.

I don't know how Costa was I was across from it in tim Hortons which was really nice maple latte was awesome. 5 star for Tim Hortons.

Fantastic selection of hot and cold drinks good food products well thought out, good location staff are always helpful and the App is amazing for ordering to sit in or collect and take home can't fault it the Apps a really good way to order saving time and cutting down ques at tills.

With the majority of places closed at the moment it is nice to be able to buy a nice, tasty coffee for £1 and walk about supping it at your leisure. See you tomorrow!!!

I'm a tea drinker but i just love Costa Coffee. Great staff great taste and they pay their taxes. Its a win win.😊

Coffee okay but it's awfully mild but good staff

Lovely staff and great cake selection. You can only get takeaways currently due to the pandemic, but it is definitely worth visiting for a quick coffee break.

Not enjoyable with all protocol

Although quite small, and quite busy at lunchtime, the staff in this Costa are the best of any Costa coffee-shops in this general area (East Kilbride / Glasgow). The coffee will be more or less the same at any Costa, but the staff make the experience. At this outlet they are always pleasant and helpful (alas not my experience at some other outlets).

My facemask was annoying me so decided to stop for a coffee. Restaurant was well laid out for social distancing, staff were very welcoming explaining I'd need to wait for a table. Watched staff clean table and all chairs. Track & trace details taken from every customer. No pressure to hurry with coffee.Just what I expected. Well done Costa, I'll be back soon.

They had have seating closed down

An exceptionally rude barista stated that according to the law she would not serve me until I had confirmed registration with track and trace. I made it clear that I would do this immediately on sitting down. She refused to countenance this so I left. I had no intention of breaking the law, however she insisted on treating me rudely and using an off hand, disrespectful tone of voice. Given I was about to spend a significant amount of money.. I simply left and went to another Costa where I was treated decently. This is why I have awarded ONE STAR. Not a good introduction to East Kilbride. What a shame!! EDIT: I understand the law re track and trace in Scotland changed within 24 hours of this review, however in no way does this detract from the way I was treated and surely is not good customer service even in the depths of a global pandemic.

Although i was a frequent customer along with my family i have on two occasions been treated appallingly by arrogant bad tempered staff.Most recently only yesterday 13/08/20 when the manageress shouted at and embarrassed my young daughter.Under the pretence of new policy guidelines which are ignored for their family and friends and even then it was handled so unprofessionally .Clearly unable to handle any stress or even pretend at acting civil....I will never be back.

Surely it wouldn’t be a problem to change your order 1 second after submitting? Wrong- we received an eye roll and glare from one of the staff members, and we are now never coming back to Costa. The Tesco cafe is better!

Great coffee as always ! But air con makes the place draughty & cold which also cools your coffee down too quick ☹

The girls working were run off their feet with customers but the service was as always first class, the hot chocolate was delicious and so were the cookies. This Costa is the reason Costa is the only coffee shop I ever go to. Thank you Hannah and Eilidh.
