Absolutely lovely staff helping an elderly lady with the app and being incredibly patient and cheery through it

Stopped over for a night at Perth on our way up north and rather than using the local Spoons, decided to use a locally owned business. Got two Scottish breakfasts with tea and toast for £20. The quantity and quality was spot on, cooked to perfection, staff were friendly. Everything you would expect on a Scottish breakfast including Lorne sausage and a tatty scone. Pay this place a visit if you want good food at a fair price.

This place is awful. Booked online as advertised a courtyard for drinks. Filthy, offered seats facing a black wall. Tables were filthy and sticky. Toilets were beyond disgusting not even a toilet seat. Left before we even ordered drinks.

This place is a hit and a miss. Had quite a pleasant drink on day one though we both thought our pints were a bit flat. They obviously take care of their locals going by the fact that one old boy was served an iron bru ice drink - first time I've seen this in a pub!. We decided to go back the following evening to have a few bottles of beer but left after one drink after having to listen to loud sectarian chanting of "if you hate Glasgow Rangers clap your hands" - this was the only chant I feel able to print due to there being no age restrictions on the site!! We're not football fans so weren't insulted but it was a bad vibe and other people must have felt the same as the place quickly emptied.

Came here with a group of 30, worried that they couldn’t accommodate as it was a Friday night however we managed to get tables all together downstairs and this pub has both up and downstairs . The food was cheap but amazing , the pizzas are definitely the best pizza I have had. For my own intimate family was only £30 for 6 meals and drinks ?? The staff you couldn’t even talk to for long as they were that busy making sure everything was clean and accommodating all the other customers . The toilets were gleaming all night , especially the gents . My husband couldn’t believe one of the boys had came in and mopped three times to make sure it didn’t smell . Been to loads of spoons but this one is definitely the best and the car park is free to park so managed to have one too many and leave the car over night . Highly recommend

Fantastic place for either a big stack of Pancakes (they also have gluten free options) or a Scottish breakfast! The place was so quiet, just what I needed for that morning. The breakfasts were unbelievable! The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Will 100% visit again!

Due to am emergency I was unable to be with my Mum on her 80th birthday. I thought sending a cake for her small party would mean I was taking part in some way. I didn't notice until after I had ordered that the cake needs to defrost for 6 hours. I immediately emailed and ask to switch to a next day delivery. I was relieved when this was confirmed. However the day before and no cake. My Mum will now have a cake that will arrive on the day of her party so cannot be eaten.

This place has a great atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. The music was great and at the right volume. The staff were welcoming, helpful and pleasant. I had a pizza with the best tomato sauce I've ever tasted and the soft drinks were unusual. Gro is a bit tucked away but very handy for the Ayr by-pass and race course. Can't wait to go back.
