The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scotland

Hadn't been to the park for over 25 years and had fond memories of the cafe. Well - we were extremely disappointed of the new version. Walking into it was like walking into a motorway cafe from the 70's. We picked up our trays and cutlery (like a works canteen) and saw that there was a long line of different service points but had no signage as to where you went/how to order food or drink. No menu - other than the vegetarian menu - was noticable. Eventually found the menu and ordered 3 meals and drinks. Everything was done by pen and paper - no electronic ordering by the staff. The food came fairly quickly - but it was quickly established that it wasn't freshly cooked but batched cooked and reheated. I had a baked potato with coronation chicken (which was horrible diced chicken in a tasteless sauce) served with a teaspoon of coleslaw and tiny salad. The potato looked like it was originally cooked well but it was lukewarm and didn't have a crispy skin. My husband had a chicken burger - which was a cheap battered burger (lukewarm) served in a cold bun with no coleslaw (that was supposed to go with it). My daughter had a cheeseburger which she said was hot - but on inspection wasn't. Again no coleslaw. Both said the chips were good! Probably because they were freshly cooked. My daughter asked for tomato sauce and was given 2 - when she asked for more she was told she should be charged for them! I thought single use plastics were not supposed to be used now? The beverages were ok but we all felt that the £46 price was far too much compared to other outlets. Back to Caulders for us!

Entré en su club el jueves 25 de julio y fui intimidado fuera del club por sus porteros a pesar de un pequeño período en el que consumí alcohol, me dijeron que me fuera por un miembro del personal con el pelo rizado a pesar de haber asistido al club durante solo una hora o más. No estaba borracho. Se trata de miembros del partido que quieren divertirse. Lo curioso fue que vi al menos 8 personas tomar sustancias en la pista de baile sin castigo, pero una persona bailando es aparentemente inapropiada. Completamente decepcionado y molesto por mi eliminación del club con cualquier prueba o evidencia de por qué fui destituido (la razón fue mi consumo de alcohol a pesar de tener solo 5 / 6 Double VBLS) me metí en la pis y espero que su personal y la dirección saben lo enfurecidos que estamos yo y otros 94 de mis amigos de la unidad. Tratamos de frecuentar el club siendo fiestas de paisley pero no había nada más que el consumo constante de drogas, abuso y acoso verbal. El agua de fuego está llena de hipócritas dueños y estúpidos trabajadores. Mierda, ese lugar está lleno de idiotas gracias por robarnos durante años. PED

Very dirty, 1/10 service and the workers smelt of sweat. I asked for nuts free products and all the products contained traces of nuts.

Esto es en el West End de Glasgow justo al lado de Byres Road. Esta es una cafetería que tiene una bonita exhibición de pasteles bajo vidrio. La zona de estar está muy bien equipada con sillas y mesas muy acogedoras. Los pasteles son deliciosos y las bebidas son buenas. El servicio es bastante lento, así que si tiene prisa podría retrasarse. El personal está bien.

I had the chicken tika & asked for it to be served on a hot plate & it sure was 👍 😁 I also asked to have my toffee apple slice served with hot 🔥 custard & that happened BUT the last time I was in the custard was as only warm - probably they don't want to burn the mouth of some folks. I left a wee smidgen of my rice 'cos it was all a bit FIRM & not soft & fluffy. BUT the nan breed tasted lovely & the 🐥 was tender 😁

I ordered gammon to be told they have none. The one girl said we have one left. When it came it had no egg and looked and tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Didn’t give my child beans. When I complained about no egg or beans the man said he’d get it and went off to do something else. I waited so long I went and complained, to be told we could make you another gammon! I reordered something else. The staff were just mulling about not doing much. I waited so long and my husband and child had finished theirs so I went back to say I wanted a refund and how unhappy I was. I left unfed and fuming. Never eat there. Not very clean either.

Fui a Gregg's mientras esperaba en nuestro autobús... el lugar es asqueroso, palomas volando por el lugar comiendo de las mesas y el piso... cómo está permitido, me pareció asqueroso que ni siquiera pudiera comer mi comida. Las mesas ni siquiera se limpian después de que la gente termina de comer, así que las palomas en ellas inmediatamente para cualquier desecho... IL definitivamente nunca volverá a estar en él a menos que le den al lugar un buen desinfectante y se deshagan de las palomas que comen allí para...

Well over priced ,soup 3 spoonfuls gown, for nearly £6 , sadly a bit pricey for me but it is what it is, nice staff

Truly lovely place to eat . Great menu for perfect Scottish cuisine and great personal service . On our first visit it was a choice of coffee and delicious cakes . On our return visit for breakfast muckle toon breakfast was the best .

Felt like a local coffee shop due to the superbly friendly staff. A nice atmosphere. Well done to them. It should be what all places do, but they don’t. Top marks all.

Staff at the weekends couldn't be nicer, always so friendly and helpful. Seating areas is always kept so clean as well.

Han comprado productos de panadería aquí en el pasado que eran excelentes! Esta vez paré a almorzar y disfruté de una excelente sopa de tomate. Por supuesto, los panes y postres provienen de la panadería. Personal amable. Precios razonables. Sin duda vale la pena una parada - tanto panadería y restaurante!

Our second trip there exceptional compared to other supermarket breakfast ny only criticism someone should be at the till have had to wait until someone notices we are there but great service when they do turn up food fresh and well cooked

It’s such a shame as when I visit family in Inverness, I always pop in to the Victorian market, so the cafe is in a fantastic spot. It’s an interesting wee place inside and all the signs are welcoming ....... except for the surly staff member or maybe it’s the owner? I didn’t get a welcome smile or acknowledgement. I wasn’t sure whether to order at the table and was just told in a matter of fact way that you order at the desk. There is an upstairs but this was blocked off for some reason. My snack was ok - took the edge off before my tea, I have given this place the benefit of the doubt before, but the service hasn’t improved. I went to the desk to pay and was asked what would I like to order!! I said I’ve eaten and I’m just wanting to pay. She just wasn’t interested. There’s plenty of other places in Inverness to spend your hard earned money. That’s the last time I spend mine in there I’m afraid.
