Great spot for all the train users in Glasgow. I recently went in for all day breakfast and this was excellent value for money. The portion size was just what the Doctor ordered. The staff are very helpful and friendly too! Special Mention to Aaron, Aiden and Lewis. Even though they are very busy they all have time for a chat. Highly Recommended.

Zo ver mogelijk weg blijven. Complete afgang daar

Disappointed, to say the least. We went here specifically because my partner loves Orchard Thieves cider, and this is the only place we know in Glasgow to get it. First disappointment: It was off, tap covered because " the chiller broke down this morning" . She settled ( reluctantly) for a bottle of Bulmers. I wanted the Strongbow dark fruits. Guy starts to pour it, sputtering and stuttering from tap, pink foam , nothing else "oh, I'll need to change the barrel" I opted for Amstel lager ( I like it, but not a first or even second choice option) since nothing else on gantry appealed. So, we tried to order lunch. "3 BAR SNACKS ( £4 EACH) FOR £10 " screamed the cards on every table, so we went for the deal, only wanted a light snacky lunch. 6-7 choices on the offer, partner can only eat the chicken wings , I can eat any of them. So, " We'll have 1 x Meat balls, 1xBBQ wings, ( one each ) and 1 x teryaki wings ( share option for us) " oh sorry, we don't have any wings " .So, not what we wanted in drink, no food . Now, I will temper this review with the rider that it is the first time I have been in, but my partner has been several times while waiting for train for a cider , and no complaints. Maybe We just hit an off day , I don't know. However I am loath to try again an d be disappointed once more . BTW, the blue Lagoon sit-in next door supplied a first class all day breakfast and fish supper for lunch .

Just don’t even bother going here for breakfast, came here as it was convenient being right in the train station, ordered a full breakfast, added toast and butter on as the guy pointed out it wasn’t included, got a coke and a latte aswell and some avocado, 20 pounds. The food wasn’t even warm when it came it looked awful I literally ate abit of the bacon and left the rest. 2.29 for toast and butter? I got one piece of toast? No butter, sorry but this is absolute day light robbery I don’t mind paying for things but I actually felt like 20 pounds had just gone down the drain, nobody came over to check if the food was ok and to be honest I couldn’t be bothered complaining I just left.

Unfortunately this bar has the monopoly in Glasgow central station right now and it’s a shame because they can get away with London prices in a sub standard Glasgow location. I paid £11 for 2 drinks for myself and my brother. Served by a surly red haired barmaid who didn’t even crack a smile and left our drinks at the end of the bar without even placing them in front of us. When I asked for a glass with ice while she was already servicing someone else I was met with an eye roll and a glass of ice slammed in front of me. Grossly overpriced £14.40 for 2 small wines. They don't tell you the price when you pay, after all you are juat a passenger and will be on your way before you realise that you have been mugged. Don't bother complaining either to the bar itself or its parent company, your complaints will fall on deaf ears. Avoid at all costs, use the Wetherspoons beside the station if you want a drink at a reasonable price and staff who treat you as client.

this is the first time I have given a bad review on a business, normally if I don't have anything nice to say, I say nothing, however, I am making an exception for this crowd. Three times I have stopped in to grab a quick drink before getting the train home, the place is a bit pricey for what it is, but kinda expect that considering where they are. What I don't expect is to be ignored by the staff and then be bad mouthed by them when we try to get their attention to be served in a fairly quiet space. This is now the third and last time it has happened. Seriously - please do not go in. Ever. Think it is possibly the worst service I've ever experienced in a bar.

Arrived at the bar with two staff behind, who were having a chat, with no one else to be served. 2nd chap arrived behind me, but waited one pace closer to them, so the female staff member served him first.

Good range of drinks in good surroundings very well located in Central Station, ideal for a cheeky phone charge while you are there.

After a top weekend in Scotland we found ourselves in here for breakfast, before getting our train home. We were both starving so plumped for the breakfast bloomer - which was delicious, satisfying and everything Scottish (I love square sausage) plus we had haggis and totty scone on the side! Glasgow train central quite up-market I thought and this place was nicely furnished, clean etc. Well worth a visit before you jump on train.

I paid over £11 for 2 gins in warm glasses with no lemon offered. Robbery. The Gents' toilets also need a good clean. Would not recommend.

Myself my daughter her friend and her mum went to Glasgow . Had some brilliant service from hotel and other restaurants unfortunately this place let down the trip away . Terrible service from a lady called pat who served us burnt food ,sausages dripping in fat and she rolled her eyes at me when I asked for some cutlery . Awful experience slow service dreadful food and a waitress who would rather be any where than at work .

Due to am emergency I was unable to be with my Mum on her 80th birthday. I thought sending a cake for her small party would mean I was taking part in some way. I didn't notice until after I had ordered that the cake needs to defrost for 6 hours. I immediately emailed and ask to switch to a next day delivery. I was relieved when this was confirmed. However the day before and no cake. My Mum will now have a cake that will arrive on the day of her party so cannot be eaten.
