Baynes the Baker in Clackmannanshire

Last time I went in everything was terrible pies we're burnt and sandwiches had seen better days. I was delighted last time.i went in two days ago the rolls looked fresh.made up with some care the.pies and pastrys didn't look burnt and they had went to the bother of having a manager named Richard who seemed to be on top of things this is big improvement let's hope it keeps up the good work from my last review which was not good.

This was the worst food I have tried to eat in a long long time. I ordered a bacon roll that the bacon so hard it almost broke my teeth. My pie was cold even though I had asked and she said they had just came out the oven. My wife had a salad roll with cheese. We had to take home and doctor with tomato that wasn't sour add butter and cucumber and mayo . The staff clearly can't cook or even prep a roll. The place really feels dated old fashioned buns and cakes nothing modern and the way they cook I would just not bother if I was you. Baines need to make a surprise visit in here. Possibly the worst bakers I have been to and that's saying something. Don't get me wrong you will be mistaking by the fresh rolls in the background and what looks like fresh rolls on display . But anyone can throw together rubbish like that . I would be surprised if they wash the lettuce

I will never go to springkerse shop again, I was looking what was available within the shop, I was asked to hurry up and buy something, as assistant was busy she said to me, what rude horrible member of staff she was, named Adele, to busy talking to other member of staff what she was doing at weekend.

Stirling store at Springkerse. Went in this morning on way to work as greggs was not open yet. First time in and woman at the door was so rude. Both doors open and she was standing at them and I joked that I timed that nicely. She responded by saying you can get in when I open the doors, which were already open. Never again, greggs are much more welcoming.

Who’s doesn’t love coming to Baynes for a Mr.Blobby biscuit? My favourite biscuit as a child and love that they have still kept making them.

Only thing I recommend is morning rolls , cant say I would be back as nothing else appeals . I did have an iced doughnut and it was dreadful very dry and bready even tesco ones are better . Obviously mass produced by machine like everything else seems to be so why go specially there . Another bakery supplier in town is far superior . Hand made produce being the key.
