Morrisons in Clackmannanshire

Sorry to say but Morrisons Cafe Alloas standards have dropped drastically. They are constantly understaffed, under trained, untidy and the food is nothing like it was only a matter of 6 months ago. Will be giving it a miss from now on! Shame as we used to enjoy our weekly fish and chips 🤦🏻‍♀️ 4 more customers lost!

We didn't have to wait too long for our order, but none of the tables were cleared, so it was hard to find somewhere to sit. We had to move the tray from the previous customer onto another table. They were very short staffed, and the woman on the till, was obviously new, as she was finding it difficult to process the orders.

Wanted a Scottish breakfast with extras bacon looked like it was gonna bite me back eggs were hard an well over cooked fried an scrambled fried bread about snapped a tooth rest of it was cold an unedible 17 quid for a breakfast an only thing I did enjoy was the mocha from coffee machine place is beyond a joke get an actual cook in the kitchen instead of using yer shop workers cause these people are no good stick to stacking shelf’s

Waited 45 minutes for our food, two ingredients listed on the menu are missing on each of our breakfasts - we weren’t told that they will be missing items, we weren’t given extras to compensate for the missing items, one of my sausages was a different colour inside than the other one - assuming it was undercooked as it was more pink, and there was not enough cutlery to use either. One man cooking everyone’s food on a Sunday Morning is not okay. The staff would have known about the delays and could have told us at ordering that there is long waits, so we could have got something else to eat and not waste our time. And also inform us about the missing items and maybe compensate for those too

Rubbish service and food. Ordered the sandwich deal on the app to find out they didn’t have the sandwich I’d picked so was told to pick another. I picked a toastie, gave it to the guy then was left for 20 mins until I went up to the counter, after reordering I could hear through the back in the kitchen them all moaning about how I ordered wrong when really they just couldn’t accommodate my order (bearing in mind it was 12.30). Finally got my toastie and it wasn’t what I ordered, rotten and soggy. I won’t be back.

2 breakfasts and a coffee for 2. Potato scones too hard to bite though, the bacon was thin and fused to each other, sausage was soft and unappetising, butter was solid and impossible to spread on toast. Come on it's not hard to get a fry up right. Coffee was fine

L💖ve this place.. great fish and chips.. go there often with my mum.. use to take my grandchildren there after school for dinner.. kids ate free if I bought a meal.. great meal deal.. great staff very friendly and helpful.. top marks for friendlyness and service 10 out of 10

We were staying in nearby Falkirk and the nearest Morrisons cafe was closed for refurbishment, so we ended up having breakfast at this location. The full cooked breakfast was on special offer at half price, so we paid a total of £8.80 for two, including juice. I doubt you could buy the ingredients for that price! Staff were helpful, food was decent and excellent value. We’re missing this cafe already!

Terrible service at the till when ordering first item ordered wasn't put through I noticed it on the receipt when we sat down I pointed it out to the staff member who took the order to be told he would put it through and get it made up our food then arrived minus the missing order so we asked another member of staff from the kitchen if it was reordered to be told it wasn't so we had to go back up and order it again by this time all the other food was cold wont be back in a hurry

Its clean comfortable nice friendly atmosphere, friendly staff. The food is well presented & tastes realy nice. Have been there on lots of occasions & will keep going back

Had small breakfast this morning, freshly cooked, big portion and very good customer service. As others have noted the only drawback is many customers leave their dishes and staff are very slow to clear the tables. (even though like ourselves you are meant to clear your own table - however the tables need wiped down after each use so I can see why customers leave their dishes) Otherwise value for money for a small cooked breaksfast and coffee.

Visited last week for a quick bite to eat and I must admit the sandwiches are bloody lovely Well worth it The only reason I have marked it down is simply because the was food all over the floor and the woman cleaning tables walked past it at least 5 times and didn’t bother about it and this is a health n safety issue as anyone could have slipped on the beans and chips that was all over the floor !!!

Great cafe plenty options to choose from, lovely looking after cafe upgrade, great prices food made too order, lovely staff in there often too eat.

Excellent meal of gammon, chips and peas

We popped in here for lunch while visiting Alloa Tower as it doesn't have a cafe. Always good sandwiches with crisps, good cup of tea, and a nice selection of cakes and traybakes. This cafe has a nice ambiance looking out to the green area behind.

Out for breakfast sunday 5th may morrisons supermarket alloa .. was really disappointed as we have eaten here often .. ordered big breakfast and a small breakfast .. terminal was not working to start with , the food was undercooked (bacon , sausage and eggs .. ) blubbery fat bacon disgusting !! Tattie scones were over cooked cardboard asked for brown bread toasted .. got white bread ..the butter portion was thrown on top of the beans so was covered in sauce (messy)!! Both breakfast were luke warm and cold .. cant believe how bad this restaurant has got.. we both left most of our food as it wasnt edible ..the tray stand had lots of un eaten breakfasts !! Not a good sign .. on the way out other customers sending back cold food .. cant fault morrisons as a company .. the stirling store is superb ..!! And other stores we have visited ..probably wont eat here again!!!!

Was greeted by a young lady , who names was Rachael . she was running around doing lots of different jobs , cause it looked like there were not getting any help from the management . No wonder places loose business, if they cant look after there staff. any way she had a smile that cheered me up and was very polite. food was very good , for what you pay .

Excellent just a snack and drink lovely and clean good service

Standard meals freshly prepared or microwaved. Slow service due to freshly made and popularity. Good for Scottish fare.

Said twice didnt want square sausage what did I get? Left most of the plate will be a while before im back.

Went here for something to eat after my shopping. Eggs benedict was amazing. Friend had sausage, egg and chips with bread & butter. Everything cooked fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Morrisons Cafe in Alloa is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the scones. I went there with a friend and we both chose to have the scones but they were so dry, they simply crumbled as you tried to spread them. This is not just an Alloa issue; it's a Morrissons one as the same happened in the Stirling store. Perhaps the recipe needs changed to make the experience better. I've also had meals there and I have not been disappointed with them at all. So, once the scone issue is sorted, I'd give Morrisons Cafe in Alloa an exceelent rating.

Terrible terrible terrible. I asked for : 1 plate of chips..... easy 1 dry roll.....easy What I got : 9 over cooked chips on a roll. When I took it back and explained what I wanted the 9 chips were tipped onto a separate plate and I was handed all the same food back just on different plates. If that was what I wanted I could have done that myself. This food was not for me but for a gentleman with Autism I was supporting to do a little shopping and have a bite to eat. After the same food had been handed back to me the gentleman wanted to leave straight away as that was NOT what he wanted. These 2 things that happened spoiled the whole if his day. I don't think we were asking for to much. 1 plate of chips 1 dry roll.

This is our local supermarket cafe. It has a good selection of food available on the menu plus a display of cakes and sweet things. Tea and coffee of course. Plenty of clean bright seating. Prices are pretty good as well. Recommended

Finished our shopping and decided to have lunch here,we took the fish and chips and the gammon steak and chips . Friendly service but so slow with the order I think the place was short staffed around 11.45 as we could see food being placed for someone to serve it to the waiting tables but no one seemed to be about , Eventually a couple of new faces appeared and served everyone . Perhaps it was staff coming on at the start of a shift but there did not seem to be a manager overseeing the cafe I would have given a better rating for better service .....Avoid if busy

First time here,I was impressed by the quality of the food and the cost. Our group enjoyed the food and ambiance. Very friendly helpful staff. I would certainly recommend to friends

Often shop here weekly. Always a good variation of of fresh fish and nicely displayed. The cafe has had a refurb and is very nice.

It is what it is. Nice place to sit and have a bleather and watch the world go by in all its glories!

Graet food throughout the range although the ordering process was wierd. Fish was excellent and also the scampi.

Nice place to sit and have a coffee,or something to eat before or after shopping.they have unit's you can put your shopping trolley in so you don't need to push it about in the restaurant.

Every time we visit locally we stock up with the good Scottish produce for our return to England! If only our local Morrison's store would cater for us exiles! The steak sausage, (square slice), is excellent as is the black pudding, haggis and the selection...

Popped in for some shopping and as I hadn't eaten that day I looked at food coming out of their cafe. Looked terrific. All 3 of us chose fish and chips. What a revelation. Freshly cooked thick white fish, with lovely crisp batter and beautifully...

Went for early dinner. got baked potato which was excellent, nice and fluffy, not dry as in some places. Recommend this over the same meal at their Stirling restaurant.

What more can be said? Food is great, prices are great, staff friendly, portions are good size. Just because its in a supermarket, don't let that put you off, its as good as any other restaurant

The best supermarket cafe in alloA, we regularly have the " wee Scottish breakfast " 2 slices of toast, tattie scone, beans, square sausage, bacon and egg. They do meals .hot filled rolls and sandwiches, cakes and scones. Tea coffe ect. Also have a slushy...

After a 400+mile drive from Wiltshire, we were ready for a healthy meal - not disappointed. Main advantage eating here - just 15 minutes drive from our holiday accommodation.

Surprisingly good food. Used by senior citizens who get free bus travel, shop for groceries have lunch too. Clean and budget friendly. Food was hot and filling.

Rather than buy a sandwich for lunch we decided to sit in Morrison's café. We had a cheese and onion toastie with chips and salad, a baked potato with tuna and salad and two pots of tea for £8.00! Friendly staff and the food arrived...

We live near the supermarket and use the restaurant on a pretty regular basis. The food is fresh well presented and excellent value for money.....We have tried all the other supermarkets in town but prefer Morrisons......good for breakfast and lunch...worth a visit for a cheap...
