The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scotland

Big barn of a place, so it was a bit on the cool side, but worth a visit for their great selection of beers and ales.

Visited for lunch whilst passing not really knowing what to expect, glad we did, friendly welcoming staff, lovely food (we had lunchtime menu and also sat outside), large portions. Brought each of our dogs a bowl of water out which was nice. Would recommend. Thank you :)

Talk about a ‘downer’ experience - £12 for a miniature prosecco bottle - which would have been almost acceptable if the service was warm and friendly…. But alas, some poor sad woman who is clearly fed up of her job. Won’t be returning.

Stayed at the Days Inn at Gretna services. We were there for a wedding the following day. Drove to this pub for a few drinks, with the intention of a taxi back not realising that you needed to book well in advance. So we had a few more drinks played some pool and had some food which was I'd say cooked to order as it was all delicious. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Very friendly place. When we still couldn't get a taxi the Landlord kindly offered to take us to the hotel. We were absolutely grateful. Such a shame we hadn't realised they had rooms or we'd have booked there instead. Highly recommend this little gem of a place. Thank you 👍

Cheap btls of beer Quite busy for a Monday night so bit of a buzz b atmosphere Has pool table, £5 deposit and £1 per game Friendly staff Overall I couldn't fault. Does what it says on the tin 😁

We stayed in the accommodation next door and had dinner and breakfast here. Food was fantastic. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in any Hotel. I had the full breakfast and my Husband had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The staff are lovely and treated our dogs well. We have already recommended this place to family and friends.

Non capisco perché abbia una media così bassa. Abbiamo mangiato per cena in tre e ci siamo trovati bene. Il fish'n'chips era ben cottto e la bouillabasse gustosa. Anche i dolci e la selezione di birre alla spina erano sopra la media della zona. Sono stati veloci nel servizio e cordiali. I prezzi sono nella media dei pub della regione (ovvero non economici). Per farla breve lo consiglierei.

Food is absolutely delicious... Portions are huge, couldn't manage all of it! Fresh fantastic home cooked... Just great! 👍💜👍💜👍

Had one bad experience at this restaurant so don't put too much weight in this review. If my next experience is better, I will ammend the review.

Was having a family Christmas lunch there were 4 adults and 2 children, we were welcomed in,all proper procedures were adhered to, server asked about allergies before we ordered great but went down hill fast from there 3 of the adults had carvery we were asked what meats we wanted 2 wanted all 3 1 wanted gammon and turkey that was all we were asked.When the meal came she did not know what was on plate.Potatoes,vegetables etc were already on plate not in dishes to take what you wanted (as we were not asked what we wanted) the food was not even look warm and there were very full plates went back, it was not even asked when the server saw the full plates if there was a problem, as this was a Christmas family lunch and £60 we were very disappointed and would think twice about visiting again.

Nice basic food at a reasonable price. Service was friendly even though they were very busy and had run low on some stock.

terrible food infact i had the carvery beef when arrived home i was ill realy sick my wife could not eat her food.the staff ok.i shal not be going bak

Lovely pub and food, service could be better but a lovely girl called Victoria single handled the place being on the floor herself and tried her best to get round all customers, Telfords very lucky to have her :)

¡Qué gran hallazgo! Panini y tostadas... ¡nuestro hijo estaba tan feliz de tener un hotdog! Genial para salir de la Royal Mile principal y disfrutar de un bocado rápido en un día de I. Edinburgh. Muy recomendable!

Went with friends for dinner service was excellent very friendly staff the friendliest staff I've cam across in a spoons food was served quick and hot will deffo be back
