Lovely pub and food, service could be better but a lovely girl called Victoria single handled the place being on the floor herself and tried her best to get round all customers, Telfords very lucky to have her :)

Was there last night. No fish no steak. Took a couple of burgers barely edible as they were so overdone. Last time for unfortunately

Came for the beyond burgers which,at this point is the only plant based main course on the menu but they don't have any and only have bar snacks as an alternative. I understand that from next week they will have them back but for today we will have to find somewhere else to eat. Not the plan, which is disappointing as we like this place.

Three of us popped in here for a beer and some lunch . We hadn’t booked but were able to get a table . The girl who served us was very friendly and welcoming . The bar is obviously pet friendly as there were a number of dogs in the bar and they were all well behaved . The beer and food was decent and prices were what you would expect . The thing that stood out to me was that the background tunes were very good . Creating a nice atmosphere in the place . Overall we had a nice afternoon and will definetly visit again .

Popped in for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon at 2pm to be told we could not order 2 drinks from the bar as they were understaffed . No queue at the bar plenty of free tables and 2 staff behind the bar. Very poor customer service and management if they can’t handle an order for 2 drinks at the bar. Lots of other alternatives available near by will not be back !

My daughter and I went along to what used to be a fabulous place for lunch but never again. The place was freezing cold and the service was appalling. Wasn't even busy so no excuses. We ordered a hot chocolate each while we picked our lunch. After a wait of over 15 minutes we were given a cup of hot milk with little or no chocolate. We then proceeded to place our order from the menu only to be told we could only select from one side of the menu so we had to change our choices. Meals arrived and the soup was cold, the chicken burger was deep fried in a thick batter and the ketchup that was asked for never arrived at all. A very disappointing Friday lunch date. DREADFUL

Had a lovely afternoon here. The restaurant is now called Telfords. Drinks ordered at table and had no issues at all. Service very fast Would visit again.

A friend and I popped in for some lunch and as the beer garden was extremely busy we opted to eat inside, the waitress came and took our drinks order no hello, welcome,smile no manners. She then went back to the door and stood chatting with another waitress. The solo barman who was serving both indoors and outdoors placed our drink on a tray on the bar our waitress walked past the tray 3 times eventually another waitress picked it up and was looking around rather puzzled the wrong table number was on the order, I waved to the waitress to indicate it was ours and it was put on the table. The original waitress came back to take our food order again very unfriendly, she then dumped 2 sets of cutlery wrapped in paper napkin on the table not even eye contact. The staff seemed very young and not a bit of knowledge of the hospitality industry. Further more the food was terrible

Popped in for a quick drink but saw a querky twist to nachos on offer... Black bean nachos. £9 may be a lot but look at the amount I got and it was delicious! Would highly recommend this sharing with someone... I ended up eating the whole lot on my tod!

This place is now called Telfords. Went for dinner with friends and had a table booked for 7.30 on a Saturday night. Despite the place being half empty, they had no chicken or steak left!!! They only toms us this after serving us drinks. What a joke! I’ll never be back and I’d definitely advise anyone else to avoid.

Just had a lovely meal today, friendly staff and food really tasty and well presented. Under new management and doing a great job. Overcharged on our bill for drinks, but swiftly rectified.We will definitely be back as they have real ale too.

Booked at least six weeks in advance for a Xmas meal. Arrived and was handed a bar menu.After refusing menu we were given Xmas menu. Ordered pork tureen for starter very bland apart from.onion and salad but the massive disappointment was main.turkey dinner see photo of how it was presented.looked as though leftover dishes had been scraped on to plate.Found parsnip,pigs in blankets buried under a pile of mash. Roast potatoes overcooked and also under mash.Brussels sprouts massively undercooked.Have been here several times for Xmas meals in the past and really enjoyed. Unfortunately the only thing saving this poorly presented meal was the waiting staff who were apologetic and very pleasant. We received two glasses of wine as compensation but paid £75 for a really substandard meal. Won't be back

My 33 year old friend arrived from a 40 minute taxi journey only to be asked for ID when ordering at the bar. She had a picture of her passport, staff wouldn't accept this. Had to square the bill and leave.

A few friends & I went in for drinks on Saturday night, we'd been before and had enjoyed.However it was on another level on Saturday as there's now a house band who played as many "classic" new & old songs as I've heard for an age. The girl singer in particular was off the chart fab! We'll be back, and I've told everyone I've chatted to since!

Popped in here on Saturday because it was dog friendly. The service was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was usual pub grub but that’s all we were expecting

Visited for birthday lunch. Service was great...friendly and efficient. Couldn't say the same for the food..bland and pretty tasteless. Average pub grub at inflated price. Menu description vastly exaggerates the quality and flavour of what is delivered on the plate. Wouldn't return any time soon!

There are obviously staffing problems, which might explain the now restricted opening hours. To make things worse, it cannot even be relied upon to actually open at the advertised time. The location, and previous reputation of CS indicates that it should be a successful, thriving establishment. However, unless the obvious issues are addressed, then it is in danger of going the way of other pubs/diners in the area, which would be a shame.

Jumped out for a bite on Saturday and decided to try the newish menu at Canal Station. We always felt this had the potential to be a fantastic place to go however the food quality had always let it down. That has now changed! Food is lovely and reasonably priced. I went for Haggis to start and the buttermilk chicken burger as a main and both were exceptional. We even stretched to a desert and a few drinks after! Only slight criticism would be there was only 2 staff serving and quite a few tables as expected on a Saturday evening so they were a little rushed off their feet. I'd definitely return here again.

First time eating here and I was impressed, although my wife said hers was a bit bland.

Used this place regularly from sept 2015 through to January 2019 while I was working up in Glasgow.

They have changed the lunch menu. Not as many choices as before. Think there is about 6 starters, 6 mains and 3 deserts. Can say not as good.

Hubby had gnocchi and high was basically greasy fried potato with a salad and soggy toast slabbered with garlic butter- dreadful & couldn’t eat it - was so greasy!! My “steak pie” was tasteless thin gravy & a skinny slab of flat crumbled pastry on top. Mash tasted sour & was dry & gritty. Broccoli was brick hard. Dog enjoyed the mushy steak meat though. Bar was SO noisy with screaming screeching girls dressed like tarts.... awful experience

Been going here for quite a while and have in general always found it to be good service and good food under the current management team.

Hit and miss with this restaurant, we’ve been going there over the years but it needs a bit of a menu overhaul. Need more healthy choices and not so much deep fried ( oil needs changing) food.

Haven’t been in for a while. Popped in late Saturday afternoon and managed to get table. Stayed for a few hours.

5 of us ate here last night and had a meeting while we did so. I've not been here for years as it is not on my usual routes but it worked well as a mid point for most of us. It was only today coming on to leave a review that I have read some of the previous reviews and the recent ones are not so good - a complete contract to my own now as I cannot praise them enough.

Turned up for a family reunion to be asked for ID for my son, was going to have some food only to be told that the kitchen was closed and that he couldn't even buy a coke and it was only 8.30. Wouldn't waste your money here.

My sister and held a joint Holy Communion party for our sons here and it was lovely! The buffet consisted of chicken pakora, sausage rolls, haggis bites, sandwiches and mozzarella sticks.

Popped on for a drink with the Mrs, a Stella and large merlot £10.50 not cheap as I had returned from Glasgow and had same drinks in Weatherspoons for £7.50

We were sitting in the dining area, having dinner. Ordered a bottle of wine and food, no problems. The chicken burger I recieved was OK, stale bun, greasy chicken and horrible "hand cut chips". My mum ordered 2 starters, one which was caked in grease. Only thing that was great was the dessert. So we finished and paid the bill, one item was a bottle of £18.50 wine (which costs £3-£4 in stores). We weren't complaining about the price as when you're out for dinner, you treat yourself! There was 1/3 of the bottle left so we decided to take it with us (because obviously we paid for it and it was OUR wine!). As we left the door, we were chased out by security demanding that we hand the bottle over and that it was against restaurant rules to take our alcohol away with us (which we paid for!). We were spoken to with so much disrespect and the security guard treated us like he was a police officer and we were being arrested. He told us we weren't allowed to leave unless we spoke to the manager. How embarrassing treating your customer like that infront of other diners!! We told him that no, we weren't going to speak to the manager and we walked off with our wine. What an appalling attitude to have to your customer. Weve been here 2 times before, but we dont won't be coming back and I'd suggest anyone who's thinking about dining here to reconsider unless you'd like to be spoken to and embarrassed like we were. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I've never encountered something like this before.

Food was very disappointing, ordered the Brie for starters and although it did say it came with cranberry on the menu didn’t expect it to be swimming in it. Had a very odd taste. Ordered the macaroni for my main and was left so disappointed. Stodgy and dry with no flavour. Was quite shocked when it was put down to me as it didn’t come with anything apart from a small salad on the side. No chips or garlic bread? My mother actually said when hers was put down to her - is that it? Does it not come with anything and the waitress said we could add a side if we wanted? Why was that not offered to begin with and not on the menu either? Ordered chips to share but as they were rushed out they weren’t cooked. Another family member ordered a cheese burger and the meat was half the size of the bun and came drenched in a cheese sauce instead of actual cheese? The full burger was left and not questioned. Wouldn’t be rushing back if the standard is like that all the time.

I was in this place last week. It has really gone down hill it's not open for food on a Monday or Tuesday anymore. Food quality was terrible I had a steak which all stuck in my teeth and wasn't cooked properly

This is a lovely venue, well laid out and with comfortable rather private seating. The food is fresh and tasty and staff are welcoming. My only quibble is that, on that chilly day, some parts of the pub/restaurant were rather chilly. Great private parking

Was busy as two private parties were booked. Staff still very attentive and kept very busy but still cheerful

we booked a table and was aware it was mother's day so there might be a delay but from the start the staff dragged there feet. once seated it took 20 minutes to get menu's and a further 20 odd minutes to receive our drinks and to be honest the restaurant wasnt even full so i dont understand the issue. some of our group ordered starters which finally came around an hour later which considering it was soup seems a bit long after an hour and a half when we asked how long we were told 5 minutes 15 minutes later the manger informed us that apparently today was a 2 and a half hour sitting but when we phoned and booked no one told us this after 1 hour and 40 minutes we had enough theres were 2 tables that came in befor us and still hadnt received there main meals so the chance of us getting our meals soon were slim. if when booking or even arriving at the restaurant if we were told it was a 2 and a half hour sitting we would not have stayed as we had other plans spoken to the manager who did give us an apology but we wont be back and it runied out night as we then had to rush to make our other plans and go hungry! would not recommend.

Arrived round 4.30pm. Appeared to be only diners. Waitress was lovely. Service shocking. Waited 30 mins for meal which was inedible. Asked for chips which were awful. Asked for dessert and waited 20 mins. Told this delay was because we asked for custard! We left. Phoned later and spoke to a supervisor. Manager not available.

This afternoon my wife and I attended this local haunt to enjoy a Jazzy Sunday and we have to admit Lucy and the boys were fantastic, along with the staff from the restaurant as the service and food were sublime! We both had a range of drinks from Vodka, cocktails and beers along with mains and desserts all of which were quality!

The food is good and reasonably priced but more importantly the service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

We had Christmas lunch here and enjoyed it thoroughly. There was a fairly big group of us but service was efficient and quick. The food was good. Most of us had 3 courses and despite the limited menu there was a very good choice for each course. The wine list was adequate and not expensive. The building was festively decorated encouraging us to get into the festive spirit. All being well we will be back next year to do it over again.

My wife and I visited the Canal Station for Sunday dinner. We both ordered steak pie and found it just OK. Pleasant, filling but not memorable. Good value pub food. Service was pleasant but rather slow.

After making a dinner reservation i was very disappointed to find on our arrival we would be sat in the midst of a lively party. We had to shout at each other over dinner.not my idea of a nice family meal. To add to the evening meal..the lamb shank was beautiful however had to send the veg and new potatoes back....twice. when they brought the gravy back (2nd time) it was still cold. Was expecting it to be a nice evening. Very dissaponted as previously it has always been tip top. The waitress (sorry i didnt get your name.( back working there after 5 years break. Was great

Visited here for lunch with family. The food was a disgrace and all I can say is if you want to learn how to burn food to the worst possible degree then you should speak to today’s chef!

Hadn't booked and arrived looking for a table to be met with a positive response of please wait 10 mins and we will get you a seat.

The restaurant/bar has great décor and is accessible from town center , if by car there are free parking available next to it , having been a station there are some original features and great out door seating. Having been a few times the staff are friendly and efficient. My recent visit was with relatives , baby and our dog which were welcome in the outside seating area , they encourage people with dogs and nice touch is dog treats and water provided for our canine friends. Cost of meals are average with good quality , overall very pleasant. Note it is also on the local cycle rout from areas outside paisley and the cycle route runs just next to it so good place to stop off if on a cycling trip :-)

Can’t express my shock and disappointment at the “meal” ordered here. Ordered Risotto which tasted like a glass of wine had been poured straight into it - completely inedible. I returned this and made the mistake of accepting an alternative - Chilli. This arrived minus kidney beans and was a bright orange colour. If it contained any mince this had been ground to a pulp, totally puréed Never ever would I take my custom here again. Beware and avoid st all costs .....

Walked along the cycle path from home to here before embarking on a train journey to Burnley via Canal street station/Glasgow Central.

Went for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. 2 courses for £10 was great value for money. I had vegetable spring rolls to start ( delicious), and my husband had the soup of the day. Then we had shredded spicy chicken and couscous and also fish and chips. Everything was great. My only criticism, and probably personal taste was that the couscous was a large type (pearl size) and wasn’t what I was expecting and was just okay.

Was in today with family for Sunday Lunch, table was booked for midday, was advised by the waitress that alcohol was not served till 12.30 so had soft drinks,couple came in after us and they where served drinks before 12.30. When we got our meal, my mothers meal was swimming in butter sauce and had to ask for this to be drained off, fathers battered haddock was burnt and over cooked, my husband and i had the burgers which was dry and burnt. Not the usual staff that is always their, and as we where sitting near the kitchen wasn't nice hearing them talk about another waitress stating she could f... off, this is the first time we have had a bad experience, but def won't be back for a meal.

Arrived at 12.30 and left the restaurant at 1.35 still having not received our lunch. One of the most disappointing things, other than not being fed, was no form of apology from the manager for the delay. We had ordered sandwiches and a salad, and the only comment made was that they had received lot of orders at the one time. Not the customers problem, suffice to say will not be back.

We visited this eatery for a retirement meal. 9 adults and one minor in the party. Table booked and ready on arrival. Nice ambience and attentive staff. Drinks ordered as well as starters and Mains. Starters arrived ranging from Soup of the Day, Mussels and Pate. For Mains we had a range of Steak Pie, Linguene arribiatta, one with Prawns and one with Chicken. Macaroni and Cheese. Overall the Starters were ok however the Steak Pie lacked taste as did the Veg, mainly due to lack of sauce. The two that had the linguene gave it top marks.The puff pastry was a waste of time, no body to it! Desserts were a hit, Strawberry and white Chocolate Cheesecake. All in all it was ok, pretty average and won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Called in for an early-evening dinner, and found food competently prepared, of reasonable portion, but not in any way memorable. Service was pleasant, but an attempt to charge us extra for a course that should have been included in the deal left something of a sour taste. Won't be hurrying back.

Good menu and choice of food with something for everyone one. Huge portions and very tasty. Burgers are amazing. Nice variety of beers and relaxing atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff too

I took my mother and wife for a lunchtime snack. The surroundings are comfortable and the staff pleasant. The service was very slow and the wrap that my wife ordered was tiny. Not good value for money.

Went here recently and everything was very average about the place. We were here a couple of year ago and everything seemed better at that time. Would I go back again? Most likely, but with less expectations than before.

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes for main course when we only had the table for 3 hours. A member of staff did tell us the kitchen was busy after about 20 minutes of waiting but an hour later we had to collar another member of...

We have been to this establishment many times & until our visit in December , have always enjoyed the food. When we went in December , there was a huge decline in the standard of food . Thought we would try again last week but sadly nothing has changed . The food is awful and we won’t be going back until word of mouth tells us that the establishment has hugely improved . I suspect many people will make the same decision as us . Shame too because before it was really nice x

Very impressed with today's food and service at Paisley canal st station restaurant. Waitress was quirky and charming food was great staff friendly and helpful . All 4 of us enjoyed our lunch and wine very much . This place knows how to do customer service .

When we visited we got the wrong order. I advised a really lovely man that we had asked for a plain chicken burger but were given the Cajun. He happily changed this over and couldn't have been more helpful. The food was lovely and he was great. We then asked a female with purple hair for the bill and the man advised her he had sorted the bill as he gave us a discount because of their mix up with the burger which I really appreciated. I was then shocked when this lady who appeared to be a manager abruptly asked myself 'what was wrong ha' I then explained the situation and her reply was 'most people ask for the Cajun burger not the normal one' implying this was our fault. I would employ more people like the young man(fair hair, wore a pink shirt 19/11/17, no glasses) rather than this lady who quite frankly has no customer service skills!

Length of time it took to serve our party was too long. The food was tasty when it came but the restaurant was very loud, not from people's chatter but from music booming out, it made talking very difficult.

We had a working lunch here, it was very calm and quiet which helped. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was nice. We will definitely be back

3rd/4th time here, this time for my birthday lunch with my partner, nice chips and onion rings, very soft tasty garlic bread, partner loves the stone baked pizza again, waitress lynne was very nice and friendly, very helpfully she was asking "everything to your liking", and "happy with your meals" etc. had a lovely chat with her. will be back again soon.

went for lunch today had lovely starter of prawns and wife had mussels . But when it came to the mains it was a whole different story the wife's steak pie was nice however a little dry as if the recipe had changed . But as for my "sirloin " my mushroom on the plate was actually bigger than the steak ,surely as a chef if a customer is paying £ 18 you would want to give him the full steak . yes it was tasty ,all 3 bits of it . I did do.plain to the waitress who was very lovely and apologetic throughout although none of it was her fault we were offered a free desert or a free desert which we declined so we were given the bill with no reduction so I complained again and after a while we received 20%off but to be honest it should never have been served.

Drinks only, really like this place. Visit was only for drinks only had a nice few hours in here. Good service and atmosphere.

Visited recently on hospital trip to Paisley, nice welcoming atmosphere good reasonable food, well worth a visit.

I have been a few times before and returned at the weekend there.We chose to sit in the bar area. We were quickly asked for our drinks and ordered our meals. I ordered the BLT sandwich with the handcooked chips which are to die for!!! My friend also ordered a sandwich & my other friends a caesar salad and asked without anchovies but was advised that the sauce has anchovies throughout it but could choose another sauce instead which she did.The food is plentiful - no complaints. Whilst we were eating a band started playing which was a surprise to us all as we were not aware that bands played on a Sunday during the day. They were very good and added to our experience. I also had a couple of cocktails and the lemondrop martini I cannot recommend enough. I would say that the service started to stall a bit and we could not get a hold of a waitress so we could order desserts/other drinks so my friend went up to the bar to do this and also waiting on a card machine to pay the bill. The interior inside is nice & ambience is great I noticed there is a "dine out" menu for £10 - idea coming from M&S I guess. I will possibly try this next time!

A family visit here where we all enjoyed a lovely lunch. The food was very good and really delicious. They had a great menu with many options to choose from. The staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. It was a busy restaurant which gave it a good ambience. There was a car park behind the restaurant.

We popped in here for some dinner and wasn't expecting it to be as lovely inside. It was a Sunday afternoon, there was a wee jazz band playing and the place was lovely. Not busy at all. We had starter of soup of the day, which was just lovely. I could have eaten the whole pot. I then had chilli beef with rice, again it was lovely, not very spicy though. My husband had steak pie which he also said he really enjoyed. We finished off with Strawberries and meringue.. It was amazing... The staff were absolutely lovely, we didn't wait long for food and I don't have any complaints. Would definitely be back again.. The soup and dessert alone would bring me back. Lovely place!

Popped in for a quick lunchtime visit. Nice decor. Had a wheelchair user, wheelchair accessible. Staff very friendly. Ordered 2 toasties which were lovely. Thick bread with a more than generous filling and a lovely side salad. It was lukewarm which was the only complaint. £17 for 2 toasties a bud and a soft drink. Will return as the menu looks good and various cocktail menus etc.

I went to canal station with friends and one of our party has allergies, even though we gave over an allergy card the chefs clearly hadn't made anything on the menu and had no idea of the foods contents. All he could eat was a plate of chips, completely unacceptable! This is the 2nd time we've had issues here and we absolutely won't be back which is a shame. Paisley lacks decent eateries and canal station has always been a staple for us but not any more. All around bad experience the staff were sloppy and not well trained or well turned out. Avoid if you have allergies

Special menu Mon-Fri, £8 one course, £10 two courses & £12 for three courses, what a great deal!I had soup of the day (scotch broth) served with bread and butter followed by an excellent chicken breast with haggis mashed potatoes in a creamy peppercorn sauce. My wife had the mushroom stroganoff with twice cooked chips (instead of rice) also highly recommended. And good sized portions too. With a vodka and coke and a lemonade and lime the bill came to a pleasurable £23. Staff are friendly and attentive. A great place to visit if you find yourself in Paisley.

Sono stato a pranzo con una mia amica scozzese che frequenta sempre questo posto e non ha deluso le aspettative. Ho assaggiato come antipasto una zuppa di cozze abbondante e gustosa. Come piatti principali ho ordinato il salmone scozzese servito con purè di patate e asparagi...su quest'ultimo piatto lamento la quantità della porzione in quanto vi erano soltanto due pezzi di salmone però di qualità. Ho concluso il pranzo con il classico dolce scozzese sticky toffee pudding davvero ottimo. Personale attento e gentile

me, my partner, and my youngest daughter (just turning one year old at the time). came here for lunch about 7 months ago, it was nice and friendly to be there for lunch after my daughters first day at nursery, but my only down side with it was me and my daughter never had a lot of choice on the menu, don't get me wrong what I order was really nice to eat, my partner loved the stoned bake pizzas. I will came back but just wish they had more to choice/eat on the menu.

Tired decor, dreadful dj (Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, and Depeche Mode, eh?) 4 bar staff, 1 serving, others avoiding eye contact , left after 2 drinks, really poor customer service.

We have been here a few times for Lunch. Food is always good, quick service. Would recommend coming to try it out. The steak pie is gorgeous.

I stopped here for a quick lunch during my cycle from Largs to Paisley. It was amazing I ordered the toasted BLT along with carrot and coriander soup both were delicious. I was just sorry I only had a tenner with me as I couldn't leave a tip. I will rectify that on my return as it won't be long till I'm back there. Bar staff were cheerful and the service was very quick. All in all really glad I stopped and would urge anyone in the area to give it a try as standards are high. Thank you.

I love how restaurants are taking over old historic buildings and making viable and good venues. That's exactly what happened in the Paisley gem. We were dropping our friend home after a wonderful trip to the Island of Mull. We were promptly seated and ordered excellent onion rings! I ordered the two course Pre fixe meal with steak and sticky toffee pudding. Son a burger and wife chicken. All were very good. My pudding was very good don't remember what others had but they didn't share! Definitely will be back when visiting friend.

I met two of my friends here today for a spot of lunch. We decided not to order from the special menu and ordered from the main menu. Two of us had ordered large fish and chips and my other friend had chargrilled chicken but asked for salad instead of mash. After more than 40 mins wait and after having to ask where our food was the food finally arrived. The "large" fish and chips was small in portion size I dread to think what a small portion would be like. Possibly a fish finger? The chips were good but there wasn't many. The price was £10 per main bit costly for the size of the portion. My friend had a small piece of chicken with some salad. It was extremely poor value but the food in itself did taste nice but we deliberately didn't have a starter so we could enjoy what we considered "large" . I did complain to the waitress who got me another small piece of fish made, it came with a totally different batter and also it was a different type of fish. Very disappointed overall. We left without having coffee or a sweet. We have been here before and had enjoyed the food previously. I doubt we will be back.

Came for lunch ordered the Chardgrill chicken with lardons and grilled peppers and potatoes and tomatoe sauce what I got was chicken with raw peppers watery tomatoe sauce no lardons asked the waitress where the lardons were she said I will get them not good enough awful food not be back no check back no drinks offered shocking and it was empty not even busy at 4 in the afternoon

Food poor quality every time I've been. Very expensive for what it offers aside from the more posh decor and beer garden which sells it compared to any other location in paisley. But really I don't think it's that great. Menu and drinks are bland and poorly presented and toilets aren't the best.

Fantastic place to eat, food is always of a very good standard. However, the the real value here is the staff. They are always very polite, professional and attentive. I have never waited long at the door to be seated. I can thoroughly recommend going on a Sunday afternoon where they have a live 'tight' Jazz band - brilliant.

My husband and I popped in on a busy Saturday afternoon after our original choice looked too busy.I'm glad that we did!We hadn't been here for a couple of years but still found it a very welcoming place to be on a wet Saturday.We had lunch while there and the service was great.I opted for a burger and my husband went for the fish.Both dishes were good apart from some quite big lumps of hard potato in the mash.Would definitely go again.

New to Paisley and this place was close by, so thought we'd give it a go after checking out the menu. Was Great! Burger was really good topped with Pulled pork and the load hot dog was great too.Brilliant choice of beers, and all the staff were great. Really friendly and chilled place

Went here for drinks on a sunny day beer garden quite big and catches the sun well a bit overpriced for drinks food looked decent value good for family with kids I feel

I had lunch here a few weeks ago with family (for use of the beer garden on a sunny Monday afternoon). Firstly the bad: Drinks, I would say were overpriced for what was brought. Myself and my sister opted for a Margarita which when arrived, was laden in salt (I myself have previously worked in a cocktail bar and checked that the issue was with the cocktail liquid and not the rimmed glass). Returned and changed the cocktails to avoid a similar incident. Replacement cocktails were less expensive that what we had previously ordered, no refund on the difference. Two of the party ordered a burger, both reported that the burger tasted as though the grill had not been cleaned for a while. The good:Attentive waiter who was apologetic when the cocktail situation was brought to his attention. Steak Pie was ordered by one member of the party who thoroughly enjoyed!Good décor and pleasant outdoor seating area. Visit was pleasant and enjoyable apart from the grill/cocktail! Nice beer garden & décor inside.

Booked this place for my daughters 18th, and she definitely got a birthday to Remember, as it was a complete washout, We paid the manager £200 for what was supposed to be a buffet, and we were presented with stale sandwiches, cold sausage rolls & stale scones, the party guests didn't touch them as they were so bad quality, I genuinely have never seen anything so bad, even at a funeral tea, When paying the manager for this poor excuse for a buffet, he said we would have the DJ included, and promised cut price cocktails for the guests, The so called DJ was a silent DJ as she never spoke a word at all, during the whole night, didn't even announce or wish my daughter a happy birthday, not even when we gave her a birthday cake, The DJ just ran track after track at a high volume level, Nobody could hear each other speaking, it was just a complete nightmare, and the promise of reduced price cocktails, was not kept,It was a duty manager that was on, and when I asked about the offer the general manager made, this rude duty manager, said no, I don't know anything about that.We tried to make the best of a bad situation.But I felt heartbroken for my daughter as your 18th should be a day you remember all your life.She will remember, but thanks to this terrible bar, only interested in pulling in money and giving no thought or care about their customers special occasion, she will be sad when she remembers the night of her 18th birthday party.Don't book this place for any special occasions.

Hi,Went along here tonight. Me and the dog. Been here 3 times previous. Bought a pint at the bar and walked straight bsck out with the dog. Even got a dog biscuit and water for her on the previous occasions. Not this time. As I walked in. The guy taking food to the tables told me the dog must stay outside. I kept the dog at the patio doors and I'll stood inside trying to get the attention of the 3 bar staff. Yip, being a nice night the bar was very busy. I stood waiting for 5 mins in which time 3 people had joined the queue at the bar. I asked the same guy who spoke to me before, if he would mind saying to the bar staff that I was waiting... " it's very busy" he replied "yip, I see that, but if I was at the bar I would have been served by now, just let the barman know I'm here". He replied " maybe you better go". I've never been asked to leave a bar in my life!!!!!!You need to get your policy clear, either you can get served at the bar with a dog or you can't!!!!I will not be going bsck in here ever!!! And the dog was it a Great Dane or an Alaskan Malamute nope a wee Pug!!!
