Called in here for lunch. The place was busy which we expected, ordered fish Friday, didn’t really rate the freshness of the fish but when you looked around not many people where eating. Would say it’s more of a drinkers Wetherspoon pub.

Although this is a standard J.D there is something off putting about the ambience for me, purely personal. I dont like the inside of this pub at all but beer is good

Tienes que tú mismo asiento (no hay señales de este punto) y ir al bar a lugar la solicitud. Recordar su número de mesa porque la necesitará. El camarero no era muy amable o paciente. Pedí el salmón y crema de queso sólo para encontrar que estaba agotado. Siguiente pedí un sidra, la que había escogido estaba lleno. Así que tuvimos que repensar lo que queríamos mientras el barman con impaciencia paraba por (imaginate que no había nadie más en el bar esperando a la orden). A mi hija le encantó su enrollado de pollo con aguacate (aunque habíamos pedido una envoltura de trigo y conseguimos blanco). Ella cree que ella tenía un aguacate. Mi queso y tomate panini fue sustituido bla. Soy vegetariana, pero no come pescado y un montón de opciones saludables para mí. Probablemente no volvería aunque parece que la gente como él.

Siempre está lleno, lo que es una señal de éxito. Tres salchichas (opción de normal o plaza) bollos y café de Olla sin límite por 7 libras en no está mal. El personal es amable y eficiente. La única parte de la experiencia de Glasgow wetherspoon que no me gusta son los más 'gobbing tenían porteros y grosero' en los clientes 5 minutos después de 'tiempo'.

We went here for breakfast and it was perfect for what we wanted - cheap food - I had porridge and my friend had pancakes. The porridge was okay but there weren't many gluten free options and it did the trick for less than £3

Really good food, fast service, good portion sizes. It's easy to find if you are not a native. Only thing I didn't like is the extreme noise due to too many tables in a small area.

Went in here for a pint and was looked at and greeted by the young blonde girl as if i had been something brought in on my shoe. Spoke to an American visitor who felt the same. How difficult is it to do customer service when you are in the service industry. If you don't like people then get a job where you don't speak to them. Management sadly lacking.

Popped in here en route back to London. It was early on a Sunday morning and wasn't busy. In need of cooked sustenance I opted for 'spoons'. I've the eggs Benedict before and it's great value. I added a cheeky sausage as it was gig to be a long day. Polite, quick and good value. Excellent. Bravo

The usual cheap booze and cheap food. No frills service. Just gotta love these wetherspoons. Cheap and cheerful.

My husband and I had a day in Glasgow, during which, we visited two Wetherspoon pubs. The first was in Bothwell Street( in what I call the financial district). It felt comfortable and cosy. The second was next to Central Station at the corner of Hope Street. It was a bit more modern in here but still homely and comfortable. The prices were excellent in both places.

Called in to kill time but was a worthwhile stop. The service wasn't all that quick but the food was very tasty and maybe a wee tad on the expensive side for what we got.

The food was quickly delivered by very friendly staff but the quality was extremely poor, greasy burger, soggy veg and chips that tasted like they were fried in dirty oil. Not best pleased.?

How do they sell the drinks so cheaply? Great atmosphere, bustling with commuters and tourists. Buy a spirit and the mixer is free! Good value meals, steak with a drink £8.99. Overall great value for money.

This pub/restaurant offers pretty basic meals at prices well in excess of those offered outside of the airport location. Having said that, the breakfast was OK and the service was quite good.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here before getting on our flight! Champagne cocktails were delicious and our steak was cooked to perfection. Our server while really busy was so pleasant and greeted us with a huge smile and was very attentive! See you next time!

My husband and I visited Glasgow airport Wetherspoons in November. I usually love going to our local Wspoon but this one is awful. My husband ordered cottage pie with seasonal vegetables, he got a plate with a small container of some form of mince covered with mash and a container, no bigger than an egg cup of cooked frozen peas. It was disgusting. I had a chicken pie-tiny amount of chicken in gravy covered with mash and 10 chips! We used to eat in this restaurant regularly but since Wetherspoons have taken it over it is really bad. Tesco Express or the hotel next time. So disappointing when you are about to start a holiday. Even the wine is overpriced. Never again.

Cheap drinks? Check. Awesome selection of beers? Check. Authentic pub-feeling? Check. Decent food at an affordable price? CHECK. Seriously, the perfect spot for lunch or a couple pints that doesn't hurt the bank account. Seems like this chain has snagged some really cool, historic real estate (think old banks) too--so the atmosphere is excellent!

Was very impressed with how quickly our breakfast was delivered whilst waiting for our flight to Prague. Obviously being located within Glasgow Airport they are used to people being in a hurry therefore they provide a very good service.Food was good at affordable prices.

Sad to say we didnt enjoy our meal, service was slow, our meals came at diffrent times my friend was nearly finished by the time my meal came, chips were burnt hard and very dry, salad was limp, didnt look fresh, my friend,s veg burger was to dry to eat

Was less than impressed by this particular branch of Wetherspoons - A measly selection of dishes and prices that are far too high for the poor quality food they are serving. My travelling companion had an omelette and they must have used Mini-eggs to cook it with.... Yes, I appreciate that being in an airport requires quick dishes, but small portion sizes and cold food (I had a bacon roll) is pretty unacceptable for a chain that usually I rate highly. (I contrast this restaurant to the one in Stansted airport and it is night and day - and I ordered a big meal there.)Poor show!

1st time ever in one of these chains. Will return to many more if they are as faultless as this one. You could even eat your food in the toilets they are that clean!

I went here felling hungry. Had a burger and chips and a beer. Great value. The burger was ok but very few chips on the plate. Could have had the same again. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Checked in and passed security quicker than expected so had time for a pint and breakfast (well it was half six) - 4 traditional fry ups and two Egg Hollandaise did the job, could it have been better - yes, should toast be served without being an extra- yes, served quickly - yes and a decent pint of Guinness! #drinkresponsibly certainly cheaper the The Italian chain around the corner

This is just a typical weatherspoons restaurant that you would find in any airport or train station around the country. Staff look as if the need a more training or a wage rise. Food was okay at this restaurant was clean and tidy at the time we where their.

Waiting for our flight, we visited this Wetherspoons, ordered Nachos & was told it would be a 20 Min wait.. OK.. so it was a wee bit busy I could accept that! food actually arrived 45 mins later.. Well on the plate was nacho's a piddly bit of cheese with a few blobs of sour cream & guacamole.. where was the salsa & jalapeños??? .. On complaint to the waiter was told they had run out & the bar staff should have told us... Well no sorry they didn't... Totally disgusted with the whole service & will never set foot in that particular one again...

Went in here at 07:45 on a Monday morning for breakfast to start my holiday wife the wife. Ordered the big breakfast and extra toast and a bottle of wine to share with the wife. Was told by the manager who served me they had no sausages and they would have to give me extra bacon. Nae sausages at 07:45 on a Monday morning, really! Well having no option I said ok went to order the wine and was told they only had one kind of white wine left so no choice but to order the £17 bottle. Total bill came to £27. At 08:15 we still had no food, I went up and complained and at 08:30 we still had no food so my wife went up and got the manager and she gave him a piece of her mind. He must have screwed up as the order was missing. The wife came back with £27 and the breakfast arrive 2 mins later hand carried by the manager. So absolute terrible service but rescued by him at the end so I am going mark it as an average as that is the average of the terrible service and us getting a full refund and a full breakfast.

£9.25 for this poor excuse of a meal! Needless to say it was sent back. Should be ashamed of yourselves for serving this up!!!

We would have loved to eat here as the menu looked great and a ton of selection. We went on a Saturday evening and we waited for 20 minutes and couldn't get a table. Place was busy and very loud. You have to remember your table number as you go up to the bar to order.

Hier essen Touristen und Einheimische, Junge und Alte. Das Publikum ist gemischt und die Atmosphäre so total urig. Hier gibt es das typische Pub-Essen zu günstigen Preisen, da "Self Service" angesagt ist. Bestellt wird an der Bar, das Essen kommt an den Tisch. Und schmeckt ganz gut. Ideal für alle, die einen lockeren Abend in der Innenstadt verbringen wollen.

Excellent food, served within ten minutes of ordering. Great value for money, ideal location if going to Kings Theatre. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped here with wife and kids as they were peckish. Ordered a bowl of chips which duly arrived.was surprised to see small portion considering price of £3.10!! At least service was quick,restaurant was clean and relaxed ambience.

Everything on Glasgow Airport closed at 10pm would get custom from holiday inn as cheaper than hotel bar!

Having frequented our local Weatherspoons in Elgin and giving them an excellent, we were disappointed with the one at Glasgow airport. Firstly, very dirty - salad, cucumbers and chips on the floor beside us that had been there for quite a while and we had to clear and wipe our own table. Food was realtively expensive and very small portions,. My wife and I shared a portion of chips for $4.00 and it ended up being a cup of chips with about 12 mushy chips in it. Salad mains was starter size. Poor selection of whisky - did not even have Glenlivet or Chivas Regal which is bottled around the corner and boutique gins that were expensive. Ended up buying more food in the Tesco express next door to take back to the hotel. Will eat at the hotel next time.

Doesn't matter which Wetherspoons we go to and we have been in a few in various places its always excellent service food always served well. Keep it up Wetherspoons!!

Quick meal en route from London to Islay. As an expat Scot couldn't resist the Haggis, neeps n tatties. It was superb. Smooth lump free mash, sweet tasty neeps and delicious spicy haggis. All washed down with crisp Thatchers cider. Ready for cold Scottish weather now!

We arrived at our airport 2 hours before our flight and ended up camping in wetherspoons untill it shut because of a cancellation. There was a minimum wait on the bar every time we went up, The food came out quickly and was a very good pertion size for the price, the drinks were very reasonable for an airport bar and all the staff handled us three annoying English people waiting at the bar really well. What really stuck with us was when our flight got cancelled and our stupid airline refused to release any information to us, the Bar manager rang up the Airport management to find out where we needed to go, what we needed to do and even arranged for some takeaway hot drinks to see us through the horrendous queue at the customer services desk. So who ever you may be Mr. Manager man, thank you!

When we fly out of Glasgow we use the Airport bus to get us from our airport hotel back to Glasgow. The bus stops outside Wetherspoons where we can eat very well for half the price that the airport hotel charges. If you have a Senior Citizen's bus pass this will cost you nothing.

We've had breakfast here a couple of times and will return again before we leave. Food is good, service is fast and friendly. Substantial breakfast for 2, including drinks was just under £8. Free refills on filtered coffee!

£20.84 for two steak meals including a drink. Well cooked and presented. Good service and friendly staff. Not many tables with normal chairs available. Mostly those you have to climb onto! Otherwise disabled access is good

Good food at a good price, bar service can be poor. Locals seem to get served first even when they come to the bar after you have arrived. It happened twice when we were there

I checked out two Wetherspoons Pubs/Restaurants in Glasgow during my last visit. They are great value for money, interesting and unique in nature and design and have great food and drinks. Their service is good and their menus are well priced and diversified. Their meals can be bought with an alcohol or soft drinks drink added and varied. If you are looking for a pint with your meal then Wetherspoons are the place to go. Check them out if you are in any UK town or city. They are unique and differ from town to town in their ambience and décor and are easy on the wallet if you are looking for a good pub meal.

these always offer value for money with a drink thrown in for just a few quid in total although it appears they use the cheapest cuts of meat available to them.

Wetherspoons has such a great concept - you find your own table, but order and pay at the bar. The food is delivered very quickly to your table. We liked it because there was no hurry to order. They have a different food special each evening - it may be Mexican, wings, fish, but you can still order from the regular menu. We ate here 3 times in 2 days - really liked the place. Read their magazine which is on the tables. Very interesting and sounds like Wetherspoons is a very well-managed company.

Uitgebreid drink café met een typisch Britse (pub) menukaart. Voordeel is de aanwezigheid van draught bitter. En heel veel keus van andere biersoorten. Drukke maar gezellige entourage. Het eten is redelijk goedkoop maar van zeer matige kwaliteit. In de mixed grill was het worstje smakeloos, het overige vlees erg droog en de steak niet doorheen te komen! Dramatisch. Na het indienen van een klacht werd wel excuses aangeboden met gratis dessert voor Twee personen. Netjes, dat wel maar had liever van mijn hoofdgerecht genoten.

The food and drinks were ridiculously cheap but of amazing quality. The pub is well decorated and the ambiance was buzzing. A good night out for those wanting good food on a budget.

Had a family meal at the breahead one, after we had a few hours shopping, food cheap I call these places a quick stop to grab something to eat while on the go.

There is never anyhting on their menu that really appeals. No imagination. Jacket potatoes and burgers seem to be the staples. Prices for nanyyting else are high

Whilst staying around the airport for work, i took the opportunity to dine and drink multiple times at the Sand piper Wetherspoons. Food has a mark up as expected for airport but it was always delivered quickly and was excellent quality. The beer is beer... not too expensive either which was handyStaff very pleasant and helpful, Would definitely recommend grabbing some food or drinks here before flying.

Good food,with fast service and at a reasonable price,you know what your getting. We ate at the airport so was handy when we arrived. was closed at 9pm on our return back from holiday which was a bit disappointing.

We went into the Wetherspoons next to Queen Street Station. Nice bar inside and as a plus it had an outside seating area too. It was a curry night (Thursday) and the menu for it looked really good, the price was excellent and it also offered a price including a drink. We ordered the sharing platter which consisted of popadums, two samosas, two onion bhaji's, two naan breads and dips. Mango chutney, mint yogurt and chopped tomatoes, onions and coriander salad pot. Then I (have a very spicy palate) ordered their hottest curry which was something like Red Dragon? That came with popadums rice and a naan too. And to be honest? The curry was really really good, the chicken was tender and the taste was real spices, not just pure chilli powder which I expected. It was very hot but I like that, it wasn't to the point of being so hot you can't taste anything. So to sum it up I'd give it a good go, I challenge you to that curry haha.

So far, there isn't another wetherspoons I can say was better this one. After walking in, the architecture was definitely the first thing I noticed and was pretty impressive. It was absolutely packed (not surprising for a Sunday), but didn't take long to find ourselves seated. We went up to order our food and it didn't take very long to do this, considering the amount of people were in there. And our food came in pretty quickly. I had the sirloin steak, medium, and was spot on! Was very nice indeed. All the meals our party ordered looked well presented and like effort had actually gone into making the food after comparing it to other weatherspoons. The waiters did come by regularly to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. Overall a great experience, would definitely come by again when I'm next in glasgow.

We went for breakfast on Sunday so didn't actually try the beer but they had a lovely selection available. The breakfast took ages to come, like nearly 20 mins after ordering they told me they had no salmon for the eggs primo and it still took another 10 minutes to come after that but it was probably due to the lack of staff (we waited 5 mins at the bar to get served as only one person was serving)My food tasted lovely but my other half had a very overcooked black pudding and sausage square which is why I rated 4 but mine was still nice.

The Last Post is a big pub in the old Post Office building right beside the railway station with a splendid range of real ales just as you'd expect from Wetherspoons.The usual Wetherspoons range of food - always acceptable.

As a regular visitor, it's a pity, but I feel standards have slipped badly at this pub. Apart from a couple of bar staff who do well to manage the bar, most of them ignore you (e.g to fill a fridge) or serve someone who has just walked in the door. I sometimes spend more time waiting at the bar than I spend with my friends. It's also sometimes very hard to find a clean table with dirty glasses and surfaces all around. No wonder, in spite of the cheap drink prices, some nights the place is empty. The curries on curry night are also not as good as before and don't reflect the increased prices - the lamb in the curry I recently had was boiled to a mush. Also, what's this with smashing empty bottles behind the bar? Do the staff know how annoying this is for customers sitting outside the window? Maybe morale is low and they're taking their frustrations out on the bottles!

We had dinner in the Glasgow airport Wetherspoons.It was very good. portion size was good. the waiters asked if everything was ok. the Pim's sundae was a bit disappointing.

Once again another very good Wetherspoons. There are at least 4 Wetherspoons to choose from in central Glasgow. They are all excellent.

Visited at lunch time and we were pleasantly surprised by the extensive range of the menu. On the day of our visit it was steak day where we enjoyed 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £15. Staff were attentive and service was good. We look forward to returning.

Passing time before our flight to Gatwick my wife, daughter and I had coffees there.The seating area was busy but the efficient and friendly young staff quickly cleaned tables as soon as they were vacated. Our three large tasty Americano coffees cost £7.50 so no complaints. Never having been in a Wetherspoons before we will have no hesitation in trying any of their other locations.

The food you get is good food for a cracking price, the serivce is quick, the staff are friendly, its a students heaven. Eat here the whole time.

My first and last visit to a Wetherspoons. I ordered 3 adult Panini Meals and 3 Kids Meals which were macaroni cheeese without any veg., chicken nuggets and spaghetti bolognaise The adults and 2 kids meals arrived after 25 mins. The adults meals and the nuggets came with piping hot chips but the Macaroni came in a very small bowl with broccoli mixed into it. We waited for cutlery and the other kids meal but these did not arrive. I had to leave my meal to queue up once again at the bar. It turned out that only 2 Kids Meals had been ordered despite being given the drink for the 3rd one. I returned the macaroni and again stipulated that it had to be without veg. I paid for the meal which had not been ordered and asked about chips to accompany the meagre childs portion. This would cost an extra £2.80 on top of the £3.99 for the Kids Meal so £6.79 in total. As an adult portion of macaroni, chips and an adult drink costs £4.99, this is a rip off. I asked to speak to a supervisor who came to the table, apologised and reimbursed the cost of 2 Kids Meals. Unfortunately he did not make any offer to replace my meal which was by now cold and I had pointed this out to him. It turned out that the broccoli came already mixed into the macaroni. Staff were unaware of this. A disaster of a meal as we had to wait again for the 2 remaining meals to be prepared. The kids meals are only enough for small kids. Children over 6 need an adult portion and as I found out today this will work out cheaper. Before everyone had finished eating, a waitress started to clear our table, in silence, without even asking if this was alright.This whole experience put a damper on our day out and the only positive outcome is that I now know to avoid Wetherspoons at all costs.

We ended our holiday in the Highlands with a Haggis burger (I'm sure if you're Scottish you are now grimacing) but it was actually really good.The food came out quickly and even with airport prices it was reasonable. If only all Wetherspoons could do this!

Just popped in for a sit down and a glass of coke whilst waiting for a train and not wanting to hang around the stationBarman called me "mate" which I absolutely detest. Didn't seem all that interested in serving me. I asked for a coke, the barman asked me if I wanted a pepsi, I replied that I'd prefer a Coca Cola and was informed they only serve pepsi. Had left my crystal ball at home, bar was not all that busy so not sure what the issue was but surliness had crept in. Please note, I'm not all that precious about myself and am pretty easy going. Some staff training perhaps?? Next time I'm waiting for a train I'll stay in the station!!

Food good normally, but way to cold - especially in summer - I think they think it's Florida and not Glasgow, they must waste a fortune on electricity when others are trying to conserve energy.

Popped over to the airport from the Travelodge for a wee wander, nipped into a couple of shops then into the Wetherspoons. Got drinks then decided on a snack before dinner later. Bit disappointed in the menu, quite limited choices for starters and no light bites? Anyway, we got the chilli nachos to share, as usual practically no chilli but plenty tortilla chips. Definitely not worth the money. Staff were friendly and bar was clean, and kids liked the air hockey table next to the bar, although I think that's down to the airport rather than 'spoons!

Meal was good simple food, good friendly service, very reasonable prices for a city centre, good atmosphere, even with England playing in World Cup on TV.

Had a very nice Sunday lunch in Weatherspoons at Queen St Station. The bar was full and we had almost half an hour to wait after we ordered. The staff were very nice and the food was tasty. Can't fault it.

Nothing great, bun was fairly soggy, cooked to a decent standard, a place for a quick bite with a pint, not a slap-up meal!

On our recent trip tp Glasgow we visited two branches of Wetherspoons. There was a good range of choice on offer and at very reasonable prices. It was hot and tasty and and reasonable size portion, I would recommend this pub chain to any visitors to the city.

Its a place, with great cheery crowd especially in the evenings. Good food .. especially the Indian food is quite good, also the hot chocolate. Though not a place for small children.

Wetherspoons has good scottish food at great prices. There is a special menu almost everyday that gives you a full meal as well as drink for less than 10 pounds. Highly recommend!

Good choice of food and mixtures of smoothies and local beers. kids loved the huge ice creams, tables well spaced out important for moving around with a pram.

Wetherspoons on Argyle Street Glasgow is a great place to have a reasonably priced meal & drink either by yourselves or with friends.

What have they done to Hamilton Hall ? The beautiful stair-case has been replaced by glass . Several tables upstairs are reduced , with coffee tables and wing chairs over-looking the balcony. Extra seating and small tables are situated in a pokey corridor downstairs , practically adjacent to the toilets! To order food you fight your way to the down-stairs bar. I was under the impression that Wetherspoons chose their venues for style !

The food is average fare.If you are interested in watching what you eat then the menu gives you a calorie count to tell you haow many calories you will consume for the various dishes available.The food is consistently good, it is served reasonably quickly after you have ordered it at the bar, and it is not over-priced, given that as you are in an airport you are in effect a captured audience.The drinks were good too and not over-priced either.The tables and surrounding were spotlessly clean.I would definitely recommend this over other food outlets in Glasgow Airport.

We arrived at Wetherspoons within Glasgow airport. We choose from the menu a burger and the tapas flat bread. We waited close to an hour for our food with members of staff who were incoherent after asking them several times..how long for my food ?When the food finally arrived the burger was editable, chips cold and a tapas flatbread that has cold tomato ketchup salsa and 2 pieces of cold chorizo.. These meals are not cordon bleu meals, but simple fast food...how could it be done so badly, it's not as if it was cheap or worth waiting for!Do not eat there. it is disgusting !!!!
