R&A Sports Bar in North Ayrshire

Great wee leaving night here. The guys let us use a great wee area. Ordered a couple of sharers - which were amazing. Reasonable prices drinks - good music. Not sure what else you need x

Good lunch with Real Ale at good prices. Only downside that only one ale was available, although it was in very good order.

I like the concept of this place but the drinks and food are horrendous and the staff make you feel stupid for no reason. Asking them simple questions seems to cause them anxiety and confusion.The food was just horrendous. 7 quid is cheap but you expect reasonable food. The mac n cheese hot dog... this is a cheap hot dog bun. With a tinned hot dog the width of your pinky. I'm convinced the next stage is dry pasta on top then cheap rubbery cheese greated on then the entire thing chucked in the microwave. Explaining the soft soggy bun. The chips were overcooked and more like greasy crisps with no potatoes in them. It literally was utterly horrendous. 7 quid for that?? The pints are horrific aswell. Shame cos the place had loads of potential.

Rude staff, not helpful at all and a lot of bad drunks throughout the day. I went to do some work on my laptop while Visiting but quickly left after my beverage.

Popped in for a pint before heading home after being out with my misses girl taking our order seemed friendly but poured one of the worst pints I’ve ever seen! Once I tasted the lager it only got worse it was vile

This was our second attempt of the night to find a place for a quiet drink. The place is brightly lit and sterile, lacking any atmosphere. Drinks are uninspired, so I would only come here to watch a specific game. If you are looking for cosiness or atmosphere, this is not the venue for you.

A big empty hall not very nice however the booths along the side have tv but is always hard to get one one in the evening the food is OK nothing special the only down side is the toilets are full of young people taking cocane not the best when we were at an air cadet fundfaiser in a back room with young children

Some customer service training for the bar staff is badly needed here ...And a smoking area would be nice ... they have one but it's been closed since mid summer 2018 ... we all have to puff away at the front door next to the bus shelters ... great for the public and customers alike!If you expect a smile with your drinks here ... FORGET IT!!

Two ales on, both of which were reasonably priced and in excellent order. The food was good, although they have now stopped the big breakfast at 13.00 which was disappointing.

Been in this bar a few times , no atmosphere.Toilets are as far away as they can be, right at the back f the venue and the times I was in the toilets they were discussing. Think all the people that are bared from other pubs drink in this bar , me and my partner were in one Saturday afternoon and I was like a movie seen -walking dead. Not going to rush back.

I went here with my wife on a couple of nights for a drink.

Probably one of the best and cheapest in the town, only downfall is the long walk don't be toilets, also now has a beer garden to the rear

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Management and staff are so rude, I work in customer service and the way the customers are spoken to in this place is awful.

had a fantastic lunch at bar sport!!!!! the service was incredible and the food was lovely! the manager was absolutely lovely and clearly took no crap which is good! there was a young man who was walking about briefly who was incredibly friendly and would return just for his company again. absolutely brilliant!!!!!!!!!! MMMMMMM !

Food is edible and sometimes can be quite enjoyable, but the staff appear to not understand basic customer needs and service expectations. Measures of alcohol are all wrong, cocktails not made accurately, and staff appear untrained. Not a very enjoyable atmosphere either unless you want to not be able to hear the sport thats even on the TV due to the heckles from the other patrons. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

Had lunch with my sisters at the sports bar suppose to be American style food but it was very disappointing the food was just okay and I am sure most of it was frozen definitely not fresh other than the soup and sandwich's.

First time in new pub. More TVs than Curry's! The prices are superb £2.40 for pint Carlsberg. Nice friendly staff and huge expansive lounge with variety of seating arrangements. Didn't try any food.

Friend & I went out for a Saturday night first time in the place was absolutely amazing great range of music played, brilliant prices staff were excellent even though it was busy we were served promptly, was a fantastic atmosphere aswell.

Brilliant food, cooked to order love whole atmosphere of the place and how food is served. Worth the money and not too dear either! Meat is cooked perfectly can't wait until I go again

A very large and spacious bar with a good selection of reasonably priced beers and Real Ales. Good menu, with Burgers, Hot Dogs and traditional British Breakfasts etc. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and we will certainly pay a return visit before too long.
