Big venue when visited early in evening.

Excellent place for food and a drink, relaxed atmosphere, the best beer garden in Perth and last but not least it's dog friendly inside and out 🐾🐾👍

Would like to give a shout out to all staff, my family and friends had a hen/ day at the bank, we had cocktails and a meal both of which was great, cocktails were fun as Jordan our host was very polite, helpful and thoughtful and could not do enough to make us all welcome, Thank you for making this a very memorable day .....

Went with family to a tribute act last night but around nine o clock the door security were involved with a scuffle with a young boy on the floor as I am trained how to defend and restrain I was astonished to see one of the security with his arm across his throat while the other two were trying to turn him When I came out the toilet I could see that they had just managed this but one of the security had been bitten and I heard him say “if you bite me again your gonna get it” while witnessing him punching the back of the young lads head these are not any restraints I have ever seen and think this door security needs reviewed I don’t know what the young guy did but nothing warrants the way he was treated by security

Great place to bring the family

The food was terrible and the wait very long. Should have been a classic cheeseburger. There was a hunk of meat with some cheese on a bun….no sauce, no tomato, no onion. All of those were listed on the menu as part of the meal. Plates were hot, so the coleslaw became very runny. Very disappointed.

Chicken wings were freezing cold at the bone. Staff basically said they weren't cold but took them back, then came back with "fresh ones". But this time I was 1 short, they obviously binned the one I bit into and threw the rest back into the fryer.

Terrible experience. We made a reservation for a table. When we arrived we were told that they “would try” to get us table service. That service never came. Not sure why they bothered taking our reservation when they wouldn’t serve us. Never going to try this place again.

Recently used the Bank Perth for a family party, it was the perfect space and size! not only was the place perfect but the staff were great and service amazing from everyone! would highly recommend here to anyone looking for a venue in Perth. Also, it is always a nice place to go for a drink or food in the center of Perth!

had my 18th birthday here on Friday night in the den (private function) downstairs and it was absolutely amazing !! managers and staff were a delight and very helpful! very very good for the money and will definitely be holding more events here. 100% recommend :)

Food was mediocre and bland at the best, certain foods on menu was unavailable despite having fresh local stores that they could of used. Service was poor and lacked person centred service with the timings. Atmosphere was great and is appealing to the public.

Good beer. That is all. Do not order food.

Went in for a meal on Easter Saturday (picked the wrong day ) was very busy but got a table right away, otherwise we might have left. Ordered our food at 1.15pm , wanted 2 steak pies but there was no pie pastry left !!! Finally got our food 55 mins later. Food was fine. Pub was very noisy. Might look elsewhere next time, depends if and when we return to perth.

Good wholesome food at decent price

Had a memorable new years eve here 23/24, great place and entertainment. Visited other days during our stay for evening meal, it was very quiet then, apparently is this time of year, food was great, good size portions and very tasty, especially the steak pie and fajitas. Staff friendly and helpful.....

Just had a Christmas meal and it was fantastic and the service was spit on

First time we went for food tonight and it was very good. We all had pizzas and my little one had Mac and cheese and for the price the food was really good. We will definitely come back

Shockingly bad service. The place was nearly empty but it took nearly 10 minutes to order a drink at the bar because the bar staff were mucking around and chatting instead of serving

Pretty much the worst meal I have had in Perth. I ordered the Balmoral burger and my friend had the BLT wrap. Firstly all the bacon in his wrap was undercooked, and the wrap was basically inedible. My burger bun was wetter than my Mrs watching Auqua Man. The pepper corn sauce was like water. The server scowled when we asked for sauce and when we asked for salt, she had a face like a face like she didn't want to be there. Not going back!!

Food service was very slow. But bar staff were fantastic.

It was early in the afternoon, so it was quiet, but the full English was very good, staff very pleasant.

Had an impromptu large family lunch, was during the week so plenty of room for a large crowd, beer was good, meals were fantastic with large portions the staff were all helpful and polite, I have mo complaints about our visit.

Nice large seating area outside which can be a sun trap. Choice of seating inside with a games room. Bar person was friendly and efficient. Nice pint of Corona. Few people eating and food looked good. Would return.

Good venue, went in for food, portions were a decent sized and well priced, would definitely go back there for a meal and drink, easy to get to..staff were polite and friendly..

Manager was very rude, food was awful. We parked in the car park to enjoy dinner and drinks. We were met by the bouncers and managers with rudeness and aggression following our meal. Would highly recommend avoiding this place.

Visited here on Wednesday 21 June.23 at about 2230hrs If I could give it Zero stars I would!!!! One word review AVOID!! The female bartender is truly appalling and.should not be in the hospitality trade just no no no

The barwoman was busy & said she'd be a minute, cool. But when she was ready she went to serve someone else first, not great. I ordered loaded fries, with steak and a peppercorn sauce. In every forkful, i had to pick peppercorns out before eating, which ruins the enjoyment of eating out. Does your chef honestly think this amount of peppercorns should be served ? No thanks, didn't think i'd have to leave a review of loaded chips. Not going back

Nice pub, lovely atmosphere, amazing staff. Love sitting outside with food and drink in the summer. Myself and my husband frequently went for food when visiting our families who live in Perth. …our go to place. Both our sets of families also frequently visited with their children. Unfortunately the food has gone drastically downhill recently. I don’t know if it’s a different chef but something has gone wrong somewhere. So disappointed as we now find ourselves visiting other places but never quite finding anywhere as good and relaxing as the bank used to be.

Nice place for a meal and a drink. Lots of seating inside and outside, dog friendly and good food. It's worth a visit when in the area.

Gave one star as it’s the lowest I can, shouldn’t get any , should be shut down!!!! Price reasonable until the subpar food finally arrived 1 hr 30 minutes later,1 nugget sized chicken on the fajita burger, balmoral burger had black pudding instead of haggis, no bacon or peppercorn sauce. Macaroni pasta was only half cooked

Very spicy fajitas, too hot. Too much sauce not enough chicken and veg. They didn't follow through when we made those comments.

Pointless going there now everybody goes elsewhere since the new security the guy chucks you out for anything and everything defo has underlying issues there.

The bouncer didn’t let me in because I had a European license had a hologram that has the picture to proof it’s legit it was a bit cracked which is normal because there’s holes all around to make it hologram - which is how my ID from my country is produced, and so the bouncer didn’t let me in (young guy definitely old enough with beard) never let me in. Never happened in my life been to America and all around the world no one made a problem but the guy said won’t let me in, didn’t even asked about my date of birth or any other information, but asked all my friends for their dob and addresses who have ID’s from the UK??

I can not fault the venue or the staff especially Jordan (72) what a lovely guy, he went above and beyond for us.... I was there for a catch up with friends... I ordered Macaroni cant fault it tasted great... The service was exceptional my first time in there and id definitely go again 👌

Awful experience last night. Booked a table for 4.30pm day before ,when arrived people have been sitting at my table. Have been told they have also booked at 1pm and sitting there since. Questioning their staff and Manager David how is this possible he said the bar does not have a rules how long a guesses can occupy their table ( every other restaurants has 2-3 hrs policy) and as long as they eat they can stay. So what is the point of booking a table??? Me andy friends ended up on filthy chairs and when other "better" table cleared we moved there. The service was very slow. Order one Pina colada, got two, and it tasted like a milkshake rather than a cocktail. Food took ages, over the hour to get starters and the mains. We were very disappointed with this place and won't be back.

Staff very friendly food Is really good

Sunny afternoon pit stop opted for the sharing platter asked the staff member when placing order to swap the jalapeño chicken peices with something else.... yep this was not adhered to and 40 minutes later a pile of rubbish was placed in front of us. The tortilla chips with cheese was horrendous couldn't eat it, garlic bread under cooked, 10 chips on the serving platter and the rest is not even worth mentioning. Staff cleared our table and I gave feedback as they noticed we hadn't eaten mich but they're not interested. Not the cheapest place for a glass of wine and definitely not a place to eat.

We have just visited the Bank Bar today. 5th February 1400. There was a large group of us, two toddlers, newborn and a dog. The guy serving us was extremely accommodating and nothing was any trouble to him at all. My dog was made very welcome 🤗 given a bow of water. Kids all had amazing meals (they ate free) I will be back soon. 😍

I have emailed twice now enquiring about booking and both times this place has failed to get back to me poor poor poor communication skills

Belated review but here goes....when the 2nd lockdown happened no one accommodated my wife and I when we came through from Glasgow to stay, however the staff here at The Bank couldn't have been any friendlier, they showed great insight and wisdom in how they handled the public, didn't treat as untouchable in any way, and they literally kept us warm under their covers in the beer garden! Home to see you guys again real soon x

The one young waitress was clearly working hard doing the bar and table service all alone. Our starters were lovely but then my fajita chicken burger was a big let down. It was just a flattened frozen chicken breast with uncooked fajita seasoning on it. There were no chunky peppers , no onions, no salsa or salad leaves as advertised. I was willing to ignore these issues but then I discovered that the chicken was undercooked. The waitress took it away then came back nearly 10mins later to tell me that it had been cooked properly (it hadn’t) but offered me another meal. By the time this finally arrived my partner had long since finished his meal and our whole meal out experience was ruined. Such a shame as it had started so well.

Friendly staff, food good and hot and plenty of it. Good value for money.

Four of us came in for a family dinner, three adults and one child. We had to wait for a dirty table, then had put in an order taken after 35 mins of waiting. We ordered and received food about 30 mins later. This would have been absolutely acceptable as they were busy with other families in at 4pm. But what was absolutely unforgivable was being served our burgers raw. I had ordered the chicken burger and was disgusted to find it cold and pink in the middle. My family member also found her beef burger to be 'fridge-cold'. Once we had discovered this, all of us had our food taken away with the excuse being given; 'oh, our manager is cooking.' If you ask me, that's not an excuse for serving raw meat in a premise that is suppose to cater to young families. Think again before you eat here. P.s absolutely great craic for a bev though xo

We arrived for the Cher & Tina Turner tribute night. We were greeted by friendly staff and were taken to our table. Tribute act was amazing. The staff were outstanding and so happy. Well done The Bank..

Not my type of place, music (& karaoke) was really loud. It's exactly what some people are after but not for me. They appear to have a later licence than other bars in the area so that could work well. I didn't score it low because its down to personal taste. If you want a good dance or a bit of drunken karaoke then I hope you have a brilliant time. *edit after owner response below* I appear to be wrong on the Karaoke front but the night I was there (a Wednesday) some of the people I was there with got up and sang to the likes of Tom Jones. If they don't do karaoke then I guess it's even nicer for the owner to let our group do that! It's worth a visit. :)

Order a Morgan’s and coke , which was not a Morgan’s and coke , staff not very knowledgeable when I explains this is not a Morgan! Either the staff useless or it was water down

We went here on a Thursday evening for a bottle of fizz at the start of our holiday. It was clean but very bright for setting any sort of ambience. Bar staff were friendly. Thought I was on London when they said how much a bottle of Prosecco was. We drank it and I went to the hotel for a lie down to recover.

Went to a drag bingo, staff were 10/10, they have to put up with some nasty people that attend the place. Keep up the good work

Disgusting establishment with no concern for their patrons. Inexperienced bar staff that told me to f*ck off when I asked them to call 999 when a patron and his partner caused a massive disturbance that landed my pal with a bloody face. Let folk bleed on the bar without helping them. Absolutely disgusting way to run a business.

4 octogenarians looking for an early evening meal. (6pm, busy outside but we chose inside) No idea how to scan q code for a menu. No problem. Jordan, on duty at the bar, promptly brought us 4 menus. He was extremely helpful with any requests, orders and queries. Thank you Jordan!. Enjoyed the background music selection. A bit louder when things became busy inside, but moderate enough to still have a conversation. All our meals were excellent and obviously freshly prepared. All staff helpful and attentive. Please is nice and good layout but food service is slow. Staff not overly friendly. Good portion size but not quite hitting the spot. Guess I ordered the wrong food. What lost points is (and this annoyed me) Ordered a pint and a pint top. The bar person had the cheek to charge £0.70 for a dash. So annoying and I’ve never been charged that before. Won’t hurry back

Last minute lunch for two. I had Nachos with Chilli. Massive portion and delicious. My wife had a fantastic cheese-free Hawaiian Pizza - again, superb and huge portion. Glass of wine and water, bill was less than £19.00 and great, friendly service. We will definitely be back.

Ordered from the table using their app, waited 2 hrs for our food and never received it. No one was cleaning up tables and swarms of seagulls pooped on our table and nearby tables. Had to finally ask for our food again and have it be packaged for take away. Highly unsatisfied.

We went into the beer garden. My husband went in to order 2 americanoes with cold mix after waiting for some time. The where no other customers waiting to be served. He was then told that the card machine was not working to go outside...

Lovely place to sit outside, have something to eat and a cold cold pint. Casper was looking after us. What a great lad. Reminded me of casper the friendly ghost. Took the order and disappeared. Then came back to hunt us from time to time....

Had a great night here on the 4th march a tribute band The Jersey Notes were excellent,great atmosphere and staff were fantastic, my mum even got a cup of tea after her all our cocktails. Look forward to next tribute night. Could you please put a programme on your website .

Place was relatively quiet on visit with some music and TVs playing for sound. Visiting with my girlfriend and we ordered two pizzas (cheese only and pepperoni) which were a great price for around £6 each AND being around 13 inch too plus some wings in BBQ sauce. Atmosphere was good and staff were friendly, although the only thing I could say specifically were that the pizzas were fairly greasy, but other than that, would definitely go again.

Absolute shambles of a place. Family and i went there after first lockdown charged £5 for a deposit on table that never got back and staff wernt even bothered, saying oh next time you come in you can have a free drink..not good enough. We were sitting inside it was freezing. Another time friend and I went for her birthday was absolutely dead not one person there and said they never done their cocktails anymore but they do with younger clientele charged us almost £10 for a half each and were tryng to get rushed away from table. attitudes stink and place.is dead every single day im suprosed still.opem

We had the best burger ever, it was a highlander burger, a quarter pound burger with haggis and a fried egg served on a brioche bun, I'm not usually a big fan of the brioche but this was amazing, served with fries and onion rings and salad, stuffed to the gunnells, the service was first class and attentive, met Abdul couldn't do enough for us, I have tasted burgers all over but this is the best, unless of course you know better 💚💚👍🥂🍺👏👏

1st time here and def be back. Staff were very friendly, food was really good & didn't taste "microwaved", great value for money, a bit quiet which was a shame as a big place, tables well spread out & clean, toilets were amazing & totally private as they looked like a wall.
