Honestly amazing experience all round !! Went here for a family meal while up visiting from Leeds and the food was incredible ! Staff were so friendly and welcoming with sense of humour. Although the prices for everything was on the expensive end it was for sure worth it. Defos loved the chocolate bomb dessert , can't wait to come back up to Greenock to go again

Delicious breakfast. I had sausage and egg roll, my daughter had the warm pain au chocolate, partner had the vegetarian haggis roll. Everything was top notch but the veg haggis was especially delicious. Good prices. Great service. Super atmosphere

Requested one extra hot latte and one cappuccino coffee, however, the extra hot came only warm. We also both ordered a club sandwich - two slice of bread with a few cubes of chicken and a slice of tomato - this is not what I recognise as a club sandwich. Service was good.

I would give less if I could. The cafe was quiet on arrival but whilst able to get a table easily there was only a single staff member behind the counter taking orders and making coffee. There was a long delay for service. Order was taken in accurately and one member of our party’s order was omitted. Staff were aware that there had been a problem with the order when food was delivered to 3 of the four in the group. Despite this no action was taken to resolve. The issue was only escalated when I sought an update. The issue dismissed and onus for problem felt like it was handed to myself the customer. I was not given or offered a coy or receipt for my order so was unable to check it. I was not charged for anything I did not receive but remember having to search for the card reader beneath yards of paper receipts which hadn’t been removed from the card machine. A general air of disorganisation abounds. After 4 requests my demand to see a manager was granted. No interest in resolving issue other than to intimate the problem was mine as the order was only for three meals or was an individuals mistake. In my opinion the service was disorganised overstretched and set up to accrue error. The customer service technique employed appears to be to goad the customer into anger then refuse to deal with their issue because of their irate behaviour. I am still awaiting an answer on how to make a formal complaint and the name of her boss.

Disgraceful service today, yes it was busy yes it was around 15.40 but no excuse for staff being fed up, blunt, impatient and serving eventually a warm mug of not very indulgent hot chocolate. I'd only ordered two drinks and two tray bakes, I was told to wait at end of counter, not very politely, I then witnessed a discussion about cream and marshmallows, to eventually be told they needed to fetch more marshmallows, my hot chocolate was left at side of machine, my hubby's mocha was sat going cool to eventually be given a mug of warm chocolate with marshmallows, no cream, no apply for the long wait and definitely no customer service. This is a cafe I will never use again and we travel north lots, disgusted.

This was a great choice for a quick breakfast visit before heading for the train. There are a number of places to eat and drink within this section of Edinburgh however the views of the pastries as we went past looked too tempting to resist! I also liked how spacious it looked inside as well as a lot of places can be a bit cramped and we had our luggage with us as well. I chose the raspberry croissant and an oat chai latte - both were lovely. The staff too were very pleasant and service was quick.
