Animated menu is a bit annoying when trying to decide what to have, but scott the gentleman who made our coffee is definitely efficient and very good at his job!

The lady who was working on 18th May with red hair was exceptionally rude. I asked her what coolers were available and she said “I don’t know, there are about 3000 of them. Just look at the screen” so I waited and there was 4 options so 3000 was slightly exaggerated. Extremely rude lady who should not be working with customers and should learn the menu.

The Black Bull is no more. The Bull was a decent wee auld man's boozer, handy for the station and with a decent pint too. It wasn't the best looking pub, but will be missed. 'Kentigerns', as it's now called, still does a decent pint and they've upgraded the decor. Full of students now, no atmosphere. Jury's out for now.

We were in Scotland for a week and had lovely meals throughout, except for this one. It was our first time in Fort William and the first restaurant we looked at was closed and relocated so we ended up at Wetherspoon. It had a nice exterior (one of the few good things we can say about it). We should have walked out. We did have a nice table at the window, and the menu was extensive, but... The menus were all dirty with smeared food and ketchup. The fish and chips was a shell of breading with a small piece of fish in its hollow. My Beyond Burger (and I have never had a bad Beyond Burger) was tasteless and disappointing. My wife's small pizza was a loser. And the coffee was not memorable. This will be our first and last visit to a Wetherspoon.

Have eaten at The Ship Inn 4 times a year for 8 years and always had a great meal. Today's experience of chicken breast and vol au vent was, to say the least, disappointing. Fine dining prices for a meal l would be embarrassed to serve at home. Dry chicken, over reduced sauce, servers who hadn't been talked through the menu. Previously I would have given a 5* review, today a very generous 2*

We booked for dinner hear on a weeknight during the Easter holidays. It was relatively quiet when we arrived for our booking at 5.30 but filled up pretty quickly. Both the drinks and food menu has plenty of options for everyone, and my 8 year old picked quite easily from the choices on the children’s menu. I went for Mac N Cheese, my partner had steak pie, and my daughter fish and chips. All food was delicious and there was clean plates all around. We then had dessert of a sticky toffee pudding, and my little girl had cookie dough ice cream. The service of the team working there was great. Everyone was so friendly and happy to have a chat with us also. I can imagine it gets extremely busy during the summer months so would definitely recommend booking. Would definitely return.
