The best restaurants in Scotland

We came here several times within a week and were always satisfied. The coffee was really good barista quality, the food was freshly prepared, and the prices were quite fair compared to other cafes. The Turkish touch is very pleasant, there's a good selection of vegetarian options, and something different than just pie, burgers, and fries.

Every city has a, the place. This is Aberdeens, the place. Karaoke on Wednesdays does not disappoint. Have a cold beer or a hot tea. The lighting is meticulous and exuberant. Go on in. Get ya a drink they set on fire.

Dined here on 22/03/25, served by Aidan, he shared lots of knowledge on the menu and gave us good recommendations. Very friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing

Asistimos como una fiesta de 5 para el menú del banquete de la semana del restaurante de Aberdeen. Soy celiaca y me dijeron que habría opciones sin gluten disponibles. Vaya, no nos decepcionaron. El meze frío salió por delante del meze caliente antes de que llegaran los platos calientes principales. Todos estábamos llenos de una calidad increíble de la comida. De todos los platos que nos dieron, solo 3 no eran adecuados para un celíaco y me dieron mi propio pan pitta sin gluten, plato de meze caliente y pollo para el plato principal. Fantástico servicio y yo estaba seguro como un celíaco. El personal era amable y servicial. Una experiencia encantadora por todos.

Exceptional in every detail. The entire place is truly beautiful and amazing. This was our second stay at Crossbasket. We live in the USA and would highly recommend it to everyone. The food and staff were fantastic. We will be back! Thank you for a perfect stay!

Visitamos siguiendo una recomendación de nuestro hijo menor que realmente había disfrutado de un par de comidas recientes allí. Aunque su elección de pub dejó un trato que desear el restaurante Five March fue excelente. El ambiente encantadoramente ocupado y feliz fue acompañado por un servicio muy agradable y eficiente y un menú realmente sabroso, interesante y delicioso de comida muy bien preparada. Fue un final encantador para un gran fin de semana en Glasgow y sin duda esperamos volver a visitar.

My 60th birthday lunch at the Dory was fabulous in every way! Every dish on the menu sounded appealing, and the food we chose was delicious. My vegan nephew was thrilled with his food. The seafood was washed down with an excellent, crisp dry Gruner Veltliner. Staff couldn't have been nicer and yet professional too, and the atmosphere was just lovely. Our dad's retired assistance dog was welcomed and loved being with us. And the perfect spring day was the icing on the cake. A wonderful celebration - many thanks, Dory Bistro team!

So many choices of food! Love it! Prices are decent. And the potion is massive, will recommend to others!! Defo will come back again to try different one.

A great place, friendly and welcoming. It's a must if you're staying over in North Berwick.

Great wee pub but they have got rid of the birds! Only joking love the New wall paper. The staff are lovely especially Hao who is really helpful and friends.The bingo is always busy and the atmosphere is great! The pints are excellent... Brilliant prices

We called here on our way to Lock Ness as we were staying in Durnamuck for a holiday, the coffee was really nice (proper coffee not instant crap) and the apple & cinnamon scone was delicious so soft and just perfect. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, definitely on our favourites list for when we are back up this way.

Great food at a great price friendly staff and so dog friendly, in a great location next to the canal for nice long walk with the dogs, I can recommend highly.
