Delicious authentic polish food, generous portions and very good value for money. Dinning area spacious with interesting design in pub like style. Service very efficient and helpful.

8 of us went for a birthday lunch. Big portions. I think if you miss Polish food it would be amazing but when you cook it every day it's ok. Worth a wee visit anyway.

This is only for the restaurant: delicious Polish food that everyone would love. Try the sausage soup in rye bread! (Zurek) The other dishes are great as well. They have schnitzel, pierohi, Kiev chicken, goulash. Everything is very hearty and well-made. Drinks come in decent sizes and the staff is attentive. The rooms are clearly a loveletter to a Polish city I don't know but they give me Austria pub feeling with their dark wood. I like it. Be sure the reserve a place on the weekend to not get disappointed.

We ate on the bar side, but ordered off the Polish menu. Everything was amazing.

Great Polish food. I recommend sour rye soup in bread. Heaven in your mouth 😜. Lard with bread and cucumber is also an orgasm for the palate. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely come back there.

Nice, calm atmosphere and really tasty food.

What an impressive Restaurant, the interior is dark wood and green leather booths, modern mural on the wall, food is beautiful, my first time having Polish food, the gentleman who served me was nice.

A good place with very friendly and cheerful staff. From the moment we entered, we were welcomed with great politeness and warm smiles. The staff was very helpful and provided clear explanations in response to our questions about the menu. When it came to the food, it was a bit hit or miss—some dishes were good, while others were not as successful. Since it was our first time dining at a Polish restaurant, we were not sure if some of the dishes were meant to be served as they were. Definitely worth a try, but for us, the highlight was the friendliness of the staff, and we left it at that.

Absolutely Disgusting customer service. Lady started screaming at me on the phone because i dared to interrupt her trying to tell her we will 100% be on time. Thats what you get trying to be polite in this place. NEVER EVER did this happen to me. Absolutely pathetic.

Hoy visité The Percy con mi amigo polaco , como escocés no estaba seguro de que me gustaría la comida , lo equivocado que estaba , honestamente puedo decir que fue una de las mejores comidas que he tenido . No voy a intentar escribir los platos pero como podéis ver por las fotos las porciones son masivas y la comida está bien presentada. La camarera que servía era muy amable, me explicó los ingredientes de los platos y me dio un poco de información sobre las tradiciones de cuando se comen las comidas, etc. Muy encantador almuerzo y recomendaría The Percy’s 👍🏻

Tuvimos un gran filete, cerdo enorme - chuleta en 2 estilos diferentes, grandes sopas, pescado y luego postres caseros celestiales - ) Percy. pl es muy recomendable para aquellos que tienen hambre y curiosidad por nuevos gustos! Los precios son amables y las porciones son bigggg.

Delicious food, polite service, fair prices. Today the restaurant was serving a large group of men so we were warned that we would have to wait a long time - we didn't wait long at all. Thank you very much.

We ordered dinner when we left home. We had an hour to get to the restaurant... when we arrived, the takeout was still not ready... that's why I order in advance so that I can receive my order when I arrive. Especially since the lady on the phone informed me that 25 minutes would be enough for preparation. Additionally, the fact that when ordering over the phone I have to provide card details to pay this way is very weak... I don't recommend it.

Food: delicious and portions are very generous! At the moment there's a Christmas menu ! Service: attentive and friendly. Atmosphere: nice and cosy, child friendly.

This restaurant serves some of the best food I have had recently. During a three day visit to Edinburgh, we had lunch there twice. On our first visit we only had soup (Borcht and Zurek) which were both excellent. For the second visit we opted for starters and mains Baltic Herring, Goulash and the largest Schnitzel I have ever seen. Service was friendly and the food was excellent. What more could anyone want?

Such a unique place. It's had the old fashion feel to it so cute. It's was full in the restaurant area, but here the fun fact. It's connected to the pub next to it and you can order their menu there. And the pub vibes also give a very local old pub vibes. There even live music there, section booths, bar table and classic interior. For the food wise wish I tried the polish dumplings but was so cold that day went for bread bowl soup and it was banging. And roasted potatoes 🥔

I went for dinner here with my Polish friend and her husband last week. Despite not booking in advance and it being very busy they still managed to find a table for us and even let us know when a better table became available. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is well cooked and very very reasonably priced. Parking is available in the Tesco car park just across the road. Next time I am in Edinburgh I will definitely be back.

Hearty, great value authentic Polish fare. Dry and delayed chicken Kiev, plus specials sold out by dinner service time, were the only disappointment in our large group. Lovely friendly service. Could benefit from a drinks menu to peruse and more traditional music would improve the atmosphere. Overall, would highly recommend!

Whenever we can we enjoy Sunday soup, it's wonderful! But whenever we can we go to eat there and especially the pierogi. The staff is very helpful and nice. ❤️ We will definitely be back and if you haven't tried Polish food before, you should come here !!

Have literally just finished eating there with my partner. Unable to show my full appreciation as my driver was waiting outside for a while but the food was absolutely sensational. Portion sizes were unbelievable (should have listened to the waitress aha]. The staff were fantastic and atmosphere itself was absolutely sensational in the place. Will be visiting again when we return to Edinburgh in the near future.

Very polite service. The sour rye soup in bread is very tasty, and the bread itself is wonderfully fresh and you want to eat the whole thing 🫣 Compote for dinner is perfect - without a ton of sugar, as usual. Russian dumplings very good. I will be happy to visit this place again someday🥰🥰

We were served by a male server who was polite and efficient. The food was fresh, tasty and the portions were really generous. I would recommend booking a table as even though we visited during the lunch time, they had a lot of customers and we were lucky to get the table.

We stopped here for dinner and were blown away by how good the food was. Between all of us we had a variety of things and from soup through dessert, everything was fantastic. It's definitely worth it to stop by even if you're having a shorter trip.

We were staying at a guest house nearby and came in for dinner the first night because of the location. The portion size was large, too big for me to finish but every bite was delicious. My friend and I came back and enjoyed the bar side of the restaurant a couple more times while in town. The staff were great, conversation with other patrons was lively and the live music on Friday was wonderful to enjoy. If you find yourself in Leith/ Edinburgh and want some authentic Polish food come check this place out. If you aren't into Polish food but want a great bar to enjoy a pint in, they'll get you sorted!

The best dish I tasted in Edinburgh! Food and drink prices were the most affordable we found in the city. Generous portions. Good selection of draft beers. Plus, we were able to watch football.

Absolutely authentic and delicious Polish cousin. The owner - Dorota is more than a great restaurant owner. She makes everyone feel like they are at home and welcome. Waiting staff especially Aga is a master in her hard work. The food wasn't very good,without flavour,we no privacy at all,missing vegatable,no salt and very very expensive for a rating of 4.7 I thought this was going to be good but I was proved wrong

We have been to the Percy several times for dinner and lunch. It is consistently brilliant, the food is fresh, tasty and well presented. Possibly the best pub food in Leith. So much so that we have booked to have our wedding reception and meal there. The staff are professional, friendly and welcoming. As a Chef, if you want a delicious, well prepared and well presented meal this is the place to go and it’s not been that pricey! What’s not to love! Well done guys 👍🏼

This place should definitely get more hype! Food is delicious ,portions are very generous and the price is very affordable for Edinburgh. I like the fact they have a main dish and fish dish of the day which always gives you something new to try. Definitely recommended!

We honestly do not recommend this pigsty! The lady serving does not listen to what is being said to her! Forcibly telling someone where to sit! The men's room stinks so much that it smells better in the pigsty!

Immer wieder testen wir gerne polnische Restaurants, wo es eben geht. In einem alten Pub, etwas abseits der Routen, befindet sich dieses Restaurant. Die Karte ist recht kurz, bietet aber die typischen Gerichte. Außerdem eine gute Auswahl an Bieren. Wir hatten diverse Suppen, Schmalz mit Brot und Gurken. Dazu Piroggen, Schnitzel (Koteletki) und Pfannkuchen (Placki) mit Gulasch. Alles ganz ausgezeichnet und authentisch. Viele polnische Gäste. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Gerne wieder. Volle Punktzahl.

Great Polish Restaurant. You'll feel like you're in Poland for a meal. The atmosphere is a bit old style but clean and cozy, the service is really friendly, the food is delicious (home made quality) and abundant, and the prices are amazing. Great value no doubt! 100% recommended.
