Amazing place with the nicest owner ! We arrived quite late and even though she was planning to close she made us great food and the best vietnamese drip coffee ever ! Everything was perfect, will definitely come back again :))

This was one of the best bowls of pho I’ve had – it tasted truly homemade, unlike many restaurant versions I’ve tried. The owner was incredibly fun and made us feel so welcomed. We were deciding between this place and another, and we’re so glad we chose here for the experience alone!

Such a wonderful little cafe with amazing food and atmosphere. Authentic and homely. The owner is so sweet and lovely. The cafe is decorated beautifully with paintings and ornaments. I ordered the Beef Pho - highly recommend, so warm and the portion sizes are so generous. I definitely will be back! :)

Very tasty banh my and Vietnamese salad, tasted just as I remembered in Vietnam. Run by a very sweet and friendly Vietnamese lady, who is also the cook. A nice environment to sit it, full of artworks.

This cafe makes you feel like home away from home. The food is so delicious and vegetarian options are so tasty as well. We had the Pho Soup and Sticky rice dish in lotus wrap- it was bursting with flavours and goodness. This was one meal in our days in Edinburgh which we recall fondly, not only because of the food, but also because of the owner who fed us like she would do it for her own kids 😀

We have such a wonderful time in this cafe. The service was fantastic. All staffs are so friendly and thoughtful. We are a group of three and they proactively ask if we would like our baguette cut in three. They really offer the best broth. Beef and beef ball pho: *highly recommended* love the broth, beef ball and beef tastes great Fish cakes pho: lots of parsley used, I like the freshness of the broth even I’m not a big fan of parsley BBQ pork baguette: a little bit spicy, love the crispy texture of the baguette, it mixes well with the salad and juicy pork insides.

I came here just to get a mocha, and the woman working was so sweet. I got it to go but the atmosphere was very nice, and the art work is very charming. I would definitely sit in if you have the chance

The owner is so nice and helpful. She noticed my father and gf a little under the weather and started advising what to take and gave them warm water and ginger to ease with the cold. She even offered paracetamol! The food is just great. The flavour was so authentic and I will be happy to return here any day. Wish I can give more than 5 stars for the service

This cafe hit the spot for lunch after the trip into Edinburgh. Was in the mood for pho &this cafe had expedient service with the most radiant owner. From the freshly made spring rolls and peanut sauce to the nice, big bowl of chicken pho it was exactly what I was looking for. Would make for a great spot to work remotely for a cup of coffee or tea. Worth a visit!

Vietnam House Cafe has a unique home made Pho that you cannot skip. The only way it could be better is if they offered an extra large portion. The owner is super cheerful and sure to make your day. Drop in, have a bite and enjoy some friendly conversation.

The homemade receipt of the pho is so much different from other pho I have tried before and it’s so much better. A friend and I popped in here for the first time very recently. What an eye opener! Great coffee and food and the Vietnamese lady behind the counter could not have given us a warmer welcome. She has lots of competition locally as you might expect near a station, but take our advice and make Vietnam House your first port of call.

Perfect little spot for incredible Vietnamese food! The beef pho and chicken pho was so delicious, would absolutely go for that again. People nearby got the banh mi which also looked fantastic. The owner makes and serves all the food and is so welcoming and lovely - between her delicious food and friendly presence, I'd fully recommend visiting here if you get the chance.

Oh my goodness this was the tastiest new experience we have had in sooo long! We finally understand how to use tofu to capture the flavours of other spices. The lotus sticky rice 🪷 comes wrapped in leaves and feels as authentic as it is. Homemade recipes past down from mother to daughter. AMAZING! As vegans this place is perfect! The pho, lotus rice and viatnemese rolls 😍 walls decorated in authentic art. This place is a 💎 of culture in a beautiful city!

this place is amazing. we arrived at the same time the owner come and my first impression of them is very welcoming and warm. after we order, not took long to serve the hot pho soup with beef and meatball. the soup is mesmerising with light yet flavourful beef broth. Such a nice place and comfort food, really feels like home. one of the best pho I ever taste.

Went for late lunch with a friend, I had Chicken Pho and loved it so much I came back again. It's a big portion with a lot of chicken, noodles and spring onion that kept me going for the rest of the busy day at work. The owner made me feel welcomed and is very friendly. Good cafe to go to on a rainy day for filling and warming up big bowl of hot soup.

First day in edinburgh! First meal of our trip👌 wow!! What a cute little cafe filled with art with unreal food, this was hands down the best pho I have ever had! The lady serving us was super sweet and attentive🤗 so glad I got to experience this food, it really set us up for a adventurous trip around edinburgh, words can not express how happy this food made both me and my boyfriend! Glad to have found this lovely little spot on chilly day. The food we both had was delicious, warming and filling. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, clean and full of different art to gaze at while eating. But more than anything the service, particularly the loving bubbly happy owner, made our meal. An experience reminiscent of a warm hug from your grandmother on a cold day, our meal filled our bellies and warmed our hearts and all while being a great value for money! If I could give 6/5 stars I gladly would.

Excellent food and coffee!! The banh mi was unfortunately sold out when we came at 3pm but the owner assured us her beef pho would be amazing and she was right! The broth was absolutely what anyone needs in scottish weather and is extremely flavourful. Would definitely come back again for more pho and to try their banh mi. Authentic vietnamese coffee beans and coffee too.

The lotus wrap sticky rice is too good, it’s definitely a handmade one and totally different to those reheated frozen ones. The lotus fragrance is so rich in the rice, it’s too amazing. Also, the viet coffee, exactly the same as those in Vietnam.

I just had the most amazing beef pho here. I’ve tried it in a lot of places but this was by far the best. The flavour of the homemade broth was superb and exactly what I wanted on a wet Saturday. The drip coffee was also delicious. The owner is a delight - so friendly and welcoming. This is definitely worth a detour. I can’t wait to come back.

The best Pho we’ve ever had! And we get a lot of good Pho back home in Australia. You can tell a lot of love and time was put into that beautiful broth. It was so flavourful! The Bahn Mi was delicious too. A warm, cozy interior with the most friendly and welcoming owner. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough!!

My family and I went for dinner here and the service was great and the servers, super kind. I would perhaps not recommend it if you have a nut allergy as the menu is incorrectly labelled which resulted in me almost eating nuts. The kitchen quickly rectified this when I raised concerns and remade my dish which was very kind of them. When I did get my dish it was absolutely delicious though and the staff were super apologetic. Just some feedback for the restaurant to relabel/ redo the menu in terms of allergens

I came here twice in 2 days because the food is so tasty, the service is lovely and the restaurant is cozy. I ordered the chicken salad on the first day, and the chicken pho on the second day, both were very good! The restaurant has beautiful art available for sale from a Vietnamese artist. The auntie who runs the restaurant is so sweet. Big recommend if you're in the area

Amazing authentic vietnamese food served by a charming lady in an atmospheric cafe. Fish cakes were delicious, pho soup tasty,it was nourishing with a huge portion. Even jasmin tea was home made and fragrant. Really enjoyed talking to the owner, who reminded me of my grandmother when she was young. A must place to visit.

Great relaxed cafe with authentic Vietnamese food. We had chicken banh mi and a chicken pho, both excellent, the pho in particular was very tasty and full of flavour. Iced Vietnamese coffee was amazing just what you need to perk you up. Super friendly staff and atmosphere, highly recommend for lunch.

The food here was amazing, all home cooked. The atmosphere was so welcoming and warm. The lady who runs the restaurant was so lovely to us. I will definitely return here when I visit Edinburgh again.
