Outstanding Restaurant in Glasgow’s west end. Early evening dinner with great service and no rush. Superb fillet steak and equally great sirloin, cooked perfectly as asked. Sides and desert also very nice indeed. Washed down with some nice wine and some great local beer. All in all a really positive experience.

We’ve never been to a restaurant where the staff go that extra mile quite like this place. Coupled with the absolute mind blowing steak experience. We’ve been to Argentina and the USA and can honestly say this is the best.

First time reviewing after countless visits to our favourite quaint spot. Running out of superlatives to describe Tiffneys it never lets us down. Meat bursts with flavour in your mouth. The staff are an absolute credit to the business. Will. No wonder we are never out the place!

This is our go to place for steak. In all the years visiting it has never let us down. My wife thinks it’s gets better every time we visit. I just think it’s consistently wonderful. There’s always some sort of celebrity in when we visit. Mel Gibson was even in one Saturday night.

Standards have slipped. Good sides, wine but the quality of the meat was poor. This was always a go to resturant for steak. Sad to say we won't be back unless we hear it has improved.

the overall experience was disappointing, starters , sides, cheese/desrt all good, however the meat was the star attraction, the menu discribed the chateaubriand as melt in your mouth ( it was the opposite) expressed my dissapointent to the the waiter, he blamed the butcher/supplier, such a lame excuse , no apologies, poor , just the bill £200, no thanks no how was your meal, customer service at these costs dissapointing,

Staff unresponsive and lacking basic courtesy. Expected far better customer service from a top rated restaurant. Seems to be they just want your money with minimal effort and given the number of empty tables on Easter Sunday, it looks like this is starting to spread. What once was a great restaurant, is now tired, arrogant and overpriced.

Went there around Christmas time. Such a great wee spot for steak. Absolutely delicious and the steak is to die for. Great choices of red. The sides complement what is a magnificent steak

Just what it says on the tin. Great steaks, well cooked and presented by attentive staff in a pleasant atmosphere.

Flawless start to finish, shared a 500g chateaubriand which was perfect, a couple of sides - onion rings and mac and cheese - and finished it off with desert. Glasses of wine as well - I recommend the primitivo if you like red. Approx 70 each which is on the high side for Glasgow but you absolutely get what you pay for. Lovely service too, and the vibe is very classy and romantic

I like my steak and this is the best steak restaurant around. The setting is perfect and it only seats about 30 covers with everyone well spaced out. All the food was perfect. All 4 of our party had different starters that were super tasty and cooked perfectly. Then the steak 😍. Perfectly cooked, exactly as ordered and great flavour. Sides were great too. Let’s not forget the service, our waiter was attentive throughout and always checking in for drinks. All in all it was a top experience and would highly recommend. One word of warning. It is not cheap but well worth what you pay.

Back again to Tiffney's and it never disappoints... Reserved a table here for a pre Christmas date night, requested two glasses of champagne via the booking procedure which was kindly followed up with an email offering two glasses of prosseco in frosted glasses as champagne is sold by the bottle, no issues perfect! On arrival the prosecco was served, menus handed out and left for 5 minutes to decide. Decided on the haggis neeps and tatties starter partnered with some warm bread and oil! Both delicious. Ordered a 450g fillet medium and 200g fillet medium, served to perfection just look at the picture! The sides worked excellently with the food. The service was attentive but not over bearing so you can eat in peace but should you require anything your waiter is always to hand due to the intimate size of the restaurant.

We had a great evening at Tiffneys The food was superb, delicious starters and the steaks were incredible! So very tasty, and well presented, possibly the best fillet I’ve ever had,and the smoked garlic butter was a delight. I had no room for dessert but everyone else did and said they were excellent. Great ambience,and service was faultless. Absolutely recommend a visit. We will certainly return!

The food was incredible! Every plate of food looked and tasted amazing. My husband enjoyed a ribeye that was cooked to perfection. My scallops and cod were delicious. The service was fantastic and the staff were very friendly.

From Pierros warm greeting, thru Martis brilliant service to leaving it was a wonderful experience. Put simply the Cote de boeuf was the best steak I've ever had in 45 years of carnivorous dining, Tremendous.

I have eaten plenty of steaks in my time and certainly a fair few in Glasgow but this is definitely the best I’ve eaten in Glasgow. Fabulous ribeye, side of chips and rosemary and garlic potatoes, peppercorn sauce and a mac and cheese. Started with an oyster and some terrific bread and butter. Couple of drinks and a bottle of water. Bill came to £108 for two. Pricey for sure. But worth every penny. Service was really good, attentive and not at all intrusive. Definitely be back.

We’ve been coming to the location through various reincarnations and Tiffany’s is by far best. The staff are fantastic and always go above for their customers. We spend almost every special occasion here and we’ve never had a bad experience!

Been many times before but last night was to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The service and food are always excellent. The smoked pancetta 'guest' butter was unreal. Always order the warm loaf to start just to see what butter comes out. Of course the actual food never fails. Great range of starters and steaks that are always cooked to perfection. Was a nice touch writing out the Happy Anniversary on my affogato plate. It's the little things and really topped off a lovely meal. Can't wait for our next visit.

Food was amazing, we had sirloin and ribeye steaks, chips, mashed potatoes, haggis, peppercorn sauce and onion rings.

That steak was the cream of the crop, the bee's knees, the cat's pyjamas! The food was absolutely top-notch. I highly recommend it, no ifs, ands, or buts about it! The staff is as sweet as pie! I'll be back for sure, no two ways about it!

Heard amazing things about here so decided to book for my husbands birthday citing birthday celebration when booking online months in advance, to my surprise they brought out a happy birthday plate with chocolates for him completely on their own accord which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The steaks were deluxe; good quality cuts, cooked to perfection paired with delicious sides and sauce. We will definitely be back the place has very friendly and polite staff and a really nice ambiance to it - perfect for date night.

My husband and I enjoyed 3 courses and wines . The scallops and salmon were excellent starters as well as the delice and crumble for dessert but rightfully so their steaks were the star of the shows. We have never had steaks of this quality and cooked to perfection. If you’ve been meaning to check this restaurant out for a while like we had- do not delay!

Best steak I've had in the UK. I had the ribeye that was dry aged for longer and although it was pricey it was 100% worth the extra cost to get this premium steak as opposed to the house cut, as the flavor was better than alll steaks i've had bar wagyu.

We went on Valentine’s day this year. The place was cozy and atmospheric, despite it being a full house it never felt busy or crowded. We were welcomed warmly by attentive staff would helped throughout the night without being pushy or overbearing. We had a honey parsnip soup to start with, it was gorgeous. The steak was the best i’ve ever tasted, absolutely to die for! The portion size of the sauce is a little small, but the steak was so tasty the (amazing) sauce barely even got touched! They even sent every couple away after their meal with a lovely red rose. Would come here again in a heartbeat!

Probably the best steak I have had. Went early and booked a few weeks in advance. We ordered the carrots, mushrooms and onion rings as sides along with the T-Bone and Fillet steak with peppercorn sauce and the Rioja red wine. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were amazing. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was great. My only small criticism would be the portion size of sauce was quite small but other than that it was a perfect meal.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and it was every bit as good as our first. We visited this time with my friend and his wife who had never been before and I think it’s safe to say they’ll definitely be back at some point. We skipped starters, instead just opting for mains and desserts, although we nibbled on bread and olives before the steaks arrived. Between us we had three types of steak, fillet, sirloin and T-bone, each delivered cooked just the way we requested. For desserts we chose either chocolate delice or rhubarb crumble. All washed down with a couple of bottles of red. A very relaxing and enjoyable experience which was enriched by the level of service we received from start to finish. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff who attended to us on this Saturday afternoon. This isn’t a restaurant we would be able to afford to go to every week, but if you’re looking for good food served by friendly polite and attentive staff then you won’t be disappointed.

What a wonderful wee restaurant, we were given a voucher as a wedding gift from some friends. We had starters, ham hock terrine and scallops both were delicious. We then both had the fillet steak, ordered medium rare and it was cooked to perfection, mac n cheese and onion rings as sides as well as chunky chips. Hubby still had room for pudding and had crème brûlée, also delicious. Our server was Niamh and she was friendly, helpful and really lovely. Tiffneys has always been my favourite place for steak in Glasgow. Went last weekend and asked for my steak to be not pink and cooked through as I’m pregnant. What I was served was honestly the worst steak I’ve ever had in my life. I couldn’t even described how over cooked or bad it was even the steak knife was struggling to cut it. Honestly had better steaks from Asda cooked myself. Won’t be back in a rush and defiantly wouldn’t visit when pregnant!

The food and staff here are exceptional, from the moment we arrived we where looked after and treated so well by the front of house staff, lovely gentleman from Poland (I don’t remember his name unfortunately) but he went above and beyond for us. The food is delicious, cooked to perfection by the chefs and great value for money. We had a very special night here. 100% recommended.

My wife and I visited Tiffney's for the first time since moving to Glasgow 18 months ago. We are big on our steak and had heard great things and we were not disappointed in the slightest. When we first arrived, we were met graciously by the waiting staff and seated. We asked for a recommendation on the wine. My wife can be quite picky so the waitress asked us if we would like to try the wine and brought a wee taster glass to test before we made our decision. Really nice touch and her recommendation was great we loved the wine, so got a bottle. We ordered the scallops to start to share and they were excellent. We then ordered two 300g fillet steaks cooked medium rare a side of chips, potatoes and mac n cheese with peppercorn sauce for both of us. Steaks were absolutely 10/10, genuinely excellent, perfectly cooked and beautifully accompanied with the sides. We ordered desert I had sticky toffee pudding which was excellent and my wife ordered Creme Brulee, which was pretty poor. Quite grainy in texture and very bland in taste, even I who can usually eat anything could only mange one spoonful. We relayed the comments back to the waitress who immediately apologised and took the Creme Brulee off the bill. The only slight issue we had was it was very warm in the restaurant to the point where it may become uncomfortable. I would give this place a 9/10 with the only negatives being the temperature of the restaurant (which I concede is personal preference) & the Creme Brulee (which was dealt with excellently by the staff) Fact is Tiffney's is a steakhouse and the steaks were 10/10, we can't wait to go back.

Amazing Steak and friendly staff … just a lovely wee cosy place

I have not eaten here so can't comment on the food or service but I did book a table and paid a large deposit. I then cancelled this reservation the next day which was over 2 weeks before the booking was to take place (much longer than their 7 day cancellation policy). I was refunded majority of this deposit but they have kept an admin fee. I understand restaurants charging a deposit and fully agree there should be a cancellation policy but to still have some money deducted when you cancel with as much notice as this is disappointing. It has put me off booking here again as I've never known any other restaurants to do this

We had visited Tiffneys a few times 3 years ago and were very impressed with both the service and quality of steaks. Tonight was the first time we had visited in 3 years and had been looking forward to our evening especially when the restaurant had cancelled our first booking due to COVID outbreak in the restaurant. Raymond the chef we knew a few years ago was no longer working there and we missed him coming over to the table with a selection of steaks and explaining the difference of each steak. The lamb starter had a piece of lamb smaller than my thumb and was tough, we ordered a 200g fillet which had tough sinew through it, my T Bone was good although not outstanding, we ordered desserts one which was cheese and biscuits but the waiter then said they had no cheeses and biscuits, very unusual for a restaurant and when the bill came we had been charged for a 300g fillet. When we challenged this the waiter apologised but didn’t alter the bill. I had left a £20 tip on the table but picked this back up something I would never usually do, disappointing experience for £190 I am totally disgusted by the response from Tiffney's it is totally incorrect on a few fronts First I will not back down on the quality of the lamb tenderloin and I did not complain as this is the first time we had been served a dish which was not up to the standards we experienced on various previous visits to the restaurant Second the waiter did ask me during my main course if everything was alright to which I responded yes which it was with my T-bone steak which I have already commented on but this was before my partner had found the issue with her fillet steak. Tiffney's at the moment feels like it could qualify for one Michelin Star and I would not be surprised if it gains this accolade in the near future. It is comfortably the best restaurant in Glasgow at the moment when it comes to fine dining. Steaks cooked to perfection and the ability to choose the precise weight of your cut is a nice touch. Even the best steakhouses tend to have a habit of offering poor quality food outside of the steaks themselves but the entire menu at Tiffney's was outstanding. It is clear that everything is truly homemade--the attention to detail and flavour profiles were sublime. The table service and setting are similarly excellent.
