Didn't sample food, had packet of nuts. Atmosphere for the time of day was understandable.

Good pub,smashing prices friendly staff. Worth a visit.

Very good pub. Me and the lads come here every weekend to watch whatever game is on. Great atmosphere and service is their standard. The pub is also next to the wonderful Partick library so a good study and smash is always doable, if you know what I mean. Of course I kid, alcohol has no place in a library. Over all this pub has a special place in my heart. I’ve been coming here for years and will be coming for many more years to come.

I was invited by my friend for a dinner. He's a local in partick and wanted me to try this one. Great pub with a good ambiance.

Warm, local, typical Scottish Pub based @ postindustrial Patrick district 🍻 Some local cask beers and kind staff behind the bar. Open during Bank Holidays (at least Christmas day) and that's the most important! 🍺🍺🍺

I first reviewed this pub as an occasional visitor, it's now become my local. The staff are just lovely, bar and toilets are always spotlessly clean, the whole place has a really nice traditional but comfortable atmosphere. I genuinely feel really welcome when I visit and Ali is the consummate host.

Best pub in the west end by a country mile…Kathy and Paula make it what it is, the most welcoming and relaxing place to come for a drink, cannot thank you both enough! Even watching the regular punters and their relationship with them made us feel at home! Will definitely be back 😁

I like this place but what is the deal with some staff serving pints hooding the glass at the rim like a claw? Honestly it's the least hygienic way. I avoid certain staff just to enjoy my pint. The pint thing apart this is a great pub with good sports, a snug lounge and the jukebox is free on a Friday and Saturday evening!

Best pub for miles. Went in twice yesterday on our mini pub crawl and was the only one we wanted to return to. Kathy the landlady is doing a brilliant job, beer was spot on and we enjoyed the company of many regulars. Clean and what I regard as a proper old school pub

Busy bar with numerous sports screens throughout lounge and main bar.

Have a laugh at some other reviews, typical brain dead sectarian Glasgow thinkers. Its a pub does exactly what it says on the tin. People go to socialise! The staff are lovely but nothing at all sets this place aside from the competition.

Only way to describe is an old man's pub!! Nice inside,nothing fancy. Staff cheerful and friendly enough, reasonable pricing. Only stayed for one as I was killing time!

A few days ago we were in this bar. We were the "international" team playing bingo. We have laughed so much. I just say: hamsters. You are the best. I hope to be able to come back to Scotland very soon. Unfortunately we couldn't spend the farewell evening with you. I'm sorry for that. I also hope that the lady could be assigned to the card found. You guys are definitely the best

We went in for a quiet drink before heading home after a wee date night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful by talking us through their rules for social distancing and how to order including the sign for the toilets. She was amazing and had a friendly conversation with us. It was a lovely experience specially during this difficult time

Friendly atmosphere. Typical Glasgow / Patrick welcome from staff and locals. Decor and furniture a wee bit tired but very clean and adds to the ambience.

Can't beat this pub. Real ales aplenty, great choice of lager's and Angela behind the bar does the work of 10 staff. Wish she would come to my local and teach the staff there how it's done properly and professionally. Dog friendly. I'd give it 10 🌟

Lovely big space inside... From the outside it doesn't look like it. Lots of staff on behind the bar so even though it was busy you got served really quickly. Loved the little lounge to the side of the bar and especially the duke box. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Me sorprendió la cantidad de pantallas de televisión en este pub tradicional, 3 en el salón y mucho más en el bar. Buena selección de cervezas y licores y personal amable. Parece que los inodoros de los gents han sido mejorados y más tarde descubrí que se había cerrado durante un breve período de tiempo para que el trabajo cubriera el área del bar y los inodoros. Definitivamente regresaré.

What a great place! I hadn't planned on drinking here but a last minute decision to join some people my collegue knew. Staff were great, as were everyone else in there, fantastic atmosphere and I'll certainly be back for my next West End Friday pass out 😊

This was a real surprise as the food was lovely well cooked and at a good price, great range of drinks and the services was very good, a real gem
