Greggs in Edinburgh, City of

Wrong item delivered! Delivery guy was great and on time. On complaining to Just Eat, payment for wrong item was refunded. Hopefully this means Greggs get same deduction from their payment.

This is the worst Greggs store in Edinburgh. They rarely ever have any food ready and whatever IS ready is cold regardless of what time of day you visit. I've tried every day this week and only once seen a single steak beak for sale and it was cold and had gravy spilled everywhere. Their "hot n ready to eat" section is maybe 1 ham and cheese and 1 chicken baguette. Half stocked fridge. Honestly pitiful that they have kept the Greggs licence when they clearly don't care about keeping stock levels at a reasonable place. Staff are fine, just dont expect to get the food you want and if you somehow do manage to then dont expect it to be even luke-warm.

Went in today for a vegan roll and a coffee. Absolutely delighted with a very friendly and funny staff member called Sean. I hope you get served by him as he'll make your day 🙂

I would like a refund juice was wrong and so was bake both went in bin I called shop and they said to contact yous iv only jst had time to do this

Was served by someone very junior but lovely guy. Was not asked if we wanted to sit in or take away. Suddenly an older lady approached us saying we needed to say if we were sitting in because they charge extra. The chicken bakes I got were cold, did not touch the second one but was told it can’t be swapped for a warmer one or heated up. Any other greggs I’ve been to tell you if the bakes are fresh or not. I wouldn’t have bothered getting two bakes if I knew they were freezing ? To the point they shouldn’t of still been sitting out

Breakfast food consisted of burnt bacon and a burnt omelette.

I ordered a coffee and the cup only had an inch left at the bottom, it had spilt in transit

Guy took ages to deliver and took a detour. Guy was verbally abusive to my partner. Coffee spilled all inside the bag sausage rolls are drenched in coffee, coffee wasn’t even secure.

Food warm, drink hot and quickly delivered by cheerful, polite delivery guy. All good.

They got my order wrong again, it seems it is a regular occurrence. Also the bacon was like cardboard.

Delivery was an hour to arrive from ordering. It was cold aswell as the coffee.

Ordered at 10:25 with a stated delivery time of 25-40 minutes. It took over an hour and a half for it to come. The selector for ‘how late was it’ is broken on my iPhone as it always reverts back to 5 minutes which is not correct.

Delivered wrong item, sausage breakfast roll was just bacon roll, latte cold, omelette roll cold. Waited an hour for a 20 min delivery.

When you order there's a 50/50 chance you may or may not get it delivered. Avoid and support local businesses in the same area who I've never had any issues with..

It was entirely the wrong order and when I phoned McDonald’s they refused to change it !

Order was missing half the items I ordered or the wrong items were put in. Maybe you should stay on top of what's available for the customer to order so that they don't have to claim for a refund

Drinks were spilt all out of bag, sauces where all over the bag could barely pick up the rolls asked on the note for sachets and not in the rolls☹️

My experience today was exceptional. Firstly the driver spent 10 minutes on the wrong street, before deciding to call me to ask for directions. I explained exactly where to go, which was literally 1 street over. Then, 15 minutes later, the driver had come to the correct street but then decided to leave. I called him back to give even more specific directions, which he completely ignored and left again. I explained the door way is down the main path from the car park, which honestly is very, very obvious, but he decided the ignore the door and drag his bike through my neighbours garden round the back of the block of flats. Finally when I had to come out to physically guide him I showed him the door which he walked past at least 3 times to which he said "that's not flat 17"... in a block of flats. Utterly remarkable. Food is stone cold and 30 minutes late.

Great, courteous driver. Food good. Hot items separated from cold as should always happen but regularly doesn't. Biggest gripe is why Greggs Management think it is wise to use paper bags but then seal them with v large plastic sticker several times. Use paper stickers with paper bags to allow full recycling please.

Delivery driver rude and made no attempt to press buzzer. Did not even want to get out of car. Food left outside

Food was cold when asked to be hot the juice had been shaken and had no fizz so was flat and horrible and the one muffin I did order it was all bashed not happy wont use this Greg's again

This is the third time something has been missing from my order. And when the coffee has been delivered its always spilt.

The delivery was late and two of the item’s were incorrect, they gave me 2 BBQ Chicken and Bacon toasties instead of 2 Ham and Cheese Toasties.

got a call from the driver asking to confirm my address told him he said he'd be a minute, 5 mins go by, its marked as delivered, so i phone him he answers the call i say hey are you lost? and he just hangs up, try to phone back again and hes blocked my number...

Gave me paper bags to Cary a dozen loose rolls six sausage rolls six pies caught in the rain coming back and paper bags had burst all over the street. Nice food bring your own bags container's from home the family bakery two doors down also on Easter road is far better quality than greggs

waited over TWO HOURS for a greggs? kind of expecting a full refund

Due to error, they order auto canceled but during the 2nd attempt the shop even called to update on time and once a driver got sorted it came. nicely hot and filling for the rainy day.

Food delivered on time and hot but was meant to be baguettes not rolls! We paid for baguettes but instead we get horrible rolls. Very disappointed in todays service, Normally very good service all round.

Driver was excellent and followed proper delivery protocol for contactless delivery.

I ordered a breakfast baguette and a breakfast roll.... only a roll turned up....receipt clearly says 1 baguette and 1 roll.... total waste of money with delivery charge for this...waste of time!!!

My coffee hadnt been placed in the bag right and when i received it, it spilled all over my floor which is floor so i had to mop it all up. The baguette was chewy and sausages were cold.

Delivered completely the wrong order- wasn't even my name/address on the receipt! Driver refused to do anything about it and the number given to call rings out and then directs to a fax machine. Awful service.

Greggs - Easter Road is the business. Brilliant food. The staff should be on £20 an hour.

I ordered 4 hot sausage rolls and yet again was delivered cold and stale rolls. Clicked on the Easter road branch by accident, food here is sub par to other Greggs near by

Only issue is that I found food on doorstep. No knocking heard.

2nd time my food order was left outside my door ON THE GROUND !!!!! This is definitely not acceptable especially when delivering food iam fully aware of the current covid situation but its more harmful leaving food on the ground I would happily take my food order from the delivery bag ( which pretty much all delivery men do )obviously except the delivery men for Greg's not I.pressed with the delivery ar all !!!

Everything about my oder was fine except the delivery guy dumping my order on the ground at my door thats disgusting not impressed with that at all
