Saucy Mary's in Highland

Understaffed. Reservations suggested. We didn’t have one and was seated at a bench. No bar. The Cullen skink was TERRIBLE- tasteless broth and no fish to be found! Went to Ling Haakon the following night and their Cullen skink was amazing! Super salad was good. Fish and chips average.

I stayed in the hostel, a double room with a private bathroom. I had read the other reviews and was a little concerned but I need not have been. The room was basic yes, the furniture not new, but it was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the shower great. I had no disturbances from noise and slept good. I had breakfast the following morning, I have allergies which they handled with no fuss. The offerings are great, the food tasty, the welcome and service from Tomas was brilliant.

Pues nada, el Hotel nos obligó a desayunar en ese sitio tan horrible tan complicado con más normas que si estuviéramos en el ejército de los Estados Unidos todo eran prohibiciones todo era si coge de aquí no puede coger allí. Si comes aquí no puede comer allí el café malísimo, pienso que lo único bueno que había era el pandespués todo de una calidad pésima, muy escaso cuando te ofrecen un desayuno buffet para no volver y cambiar de Hotel y de desayuno

A nostro avviso... è davvero difficile far comprendere la bellezza di questo posto nel mezzo di Kyleakin. Abbiamo fatto due colazioni e due cene e in ogni occasione siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Per colazione vi consigliamo assolutamente di prendere le benedict eggs e le royal eggs: le prime con bacon, le seconde con salmone affumicato. Ve ne innamorerete! A cena invece abbiamo provato diversi piatti e una nota di merito va alla zuppa del giorno. Bello e buono, davvero da provare!

Petit pub très sympa, avec des produits frais et bien préparés. Le repas est bon, avec des légumes et avec les épices bien proportionnées La serveuse est souriante, gentille, avenante et le service est rapide. Bref à recommander +++ pour le repas, le service

Went there on a extremely busy evening, had to table share with another lovely family, good fresh food simple and hearty. The front house staff were totally rushed off their feet but managed to get our orders correctly with a smile after the hungry wait.

The service was nice, nice people, quick service. The decoration was local, kind of a pub where you can eat good food, crowdy. Very nicely surprised because it wasn’t smelling good inside but the food and the people were super The taste of the food was very good, the mussels are good and the duo fish too!! The quality price ratio was very good!! Good quality with fresh food and not very expensive. Maybe not for a big eater but you can take a dessert and it will be okay!!

Prezzi nella norma e personale molto gentile e cordiale. Ma più di un'ora di attesa gli costa recensioni più alte. cibo discreto ma sinceramente vi consiglio di provare altro. Comodo e vicino al lungomare. Andate e valutatelo se non trovate di meglio e credo che in zona sia difficile.

We had breakfast and dinner here during our stay at Glen Arroch and found all staff to be very efficient, friendly, helpful and the food service was very impressive. The food was very wholesome, tasty and excellent portions. Thank you so much guys. 🥰🥰

We stayed in the accommodation next door and had dinner and breakfast here. Food was fantastic. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in any Hotel. I had the full breakfast and my Husband had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The staff are lovely and treated our dogs well. We have already recommended this place to family and friends.

There aren’t many options to eat in Kyleakin in November. We ate here on our first night. We won’t be back. The menu is very limited and I understand that business is quiet at this time of year but everything on the menu is clearly ‘can be cooked from frozen’ or has a long life. Our starters were the best thing (black pudding with halloumi and bacon). Our main courses were very disappointing. The service was okay. It’s just a shame that the food was so disappointing and very overpriced for what is was.

Good food decent priced. We had a salad with goats cheese and a stew with pastry. Very tasty. Quick service and a nice ambiance. We enjoyed the food. Loved it.

Eravamo a dormire in una guest house non lontano da qui, quindi abbiamo prenotato tramite mail, fortunatamente perchè il locale era tutto pieno. L'atmosfera era molto bella, il locale ha una bella vista sulla baia. I piatti che abbiamo ordinato erano buoni, c'era una buona scelta di piatti tipici e buone birre, il personale è stato molto gentile, il servizio veloce nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato

Si vous êtes au régime, c'est l'endroit parfait. Le saumon frais, pourtant vendu "accompagné de grains de moutarde et d'une sauce beurre-citron" est arrivé tout nu, avec sa purée ni salée ni poivrée alors que les légumes étaient "natures". En résumé, des ingrédients cuits mais pas cuisinés. Rien n'avait de goût. Le crumble aux pommes maison sauve quelque peu la mise sans être exceptionnel.

Scoperto per caso grazie alle recensioni, ci siamo trovati molto bene, locale accogliente, servizio rapido e personale gentile, piatti ottimi. Consigliato!

After two days of "sorry we are full", pushed away not very nicely, we had a reservation for dinner. When we arrived, they moved away from a table two people and we got sitted in their place. We ordered and we got served after one hour, while other people that arrived after us got their food before us... We got a salmon fillet, apparentely made with no salt (not even in the mashed potatoes) and a steak and stout pie... but there was no pie, just a stue with meat and wathery sauce. For the price we paid and the long wait this place has, I consider this a complete disaster.

Everything very tasty and good, fresh food and good beverage. The winner Is very nice and kind, I really suggest this Little restaurant.
