Typical Costa, good coffee but the clue is in the name!

Have to give a star to leave a review Tried to get in for breakfast at 9 and doors locked no one in and yet website said opens at 8 so went to Sainsbury’s cafe and gave them my money.

Good venue - great beers (obvs). On this occasion we were told that if we ordered food in the next 15 minutes - all would be ok. We did this. Order accepted through app only to be told kitchens closed. Shame. Still great pub overall.

Disappointed is an understatement! No wreaths, no real trees, nothing like it use to be when you walk in usually 100s of different coloured baubles but not now, there is still some lovely things in there but just didn't have that wow factor like before.

Having read mixed reviews we were a little hesitant to try the Tayleur Arms. However, our experience was great. We had the £10 2 course meal. Scampi and ham egg and chips. Both really tasty. Portions were small but just right for us. The apple crumble and bread and butter pudding, both with custard, were yummy. Service was really good, with an attentive young lady who took our order at our table (presumably as it was not too busy or, maybe, she noticed that my companion was blind). Place is nicely decorated and very clean (although neither of us used the toilets). If you have read the old reviews and are not sure about this place, give it a chance. You might be very pleasantly surprised, as we were.

Superb food, great service, very good beer and wine. Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly too. Excellent all round, highly recommended.

Hi, I went to buy cake from Birmingham grand Central branch. Manager was putting the passteries on display. I requested manager to give me a cake please he said you have to wait 20 minutes which I agreed. Meanwhile I was waiting he told me that we are waiting for cakes delivery therefore buy passteries which I said ok give me 4 passteries normally they are on offer. He replied not today I have to put this deal on the till. Later he told me go to Lola's in Selfridges and buy from them. I said thank you for introducing me to your competitors. I bought a cake and passteries with a lovely smile which I was missing at you place. I would request all the customers to definetly visit Lola's where I promise you will get a lovely smile with a cake.

Took the wife out. Great food, staff are polite and helpful. Drinks were good. Food was 10/10 thank you desserts are decent too, definitely go back.

Great choice of ales. Roaring fire. Free food last Thursday was a bonus.

I visit Costa Coffee in Knowle every week and I am compelled to write that the lady that serves me at the counter is one of the nicest and warmest persons I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Bobbie is both friendly and professional, always has a lovely smile and is extremely genuine. I actually look forward to visiting Knowle and would not buy my coffee anywhere else except from this particular lady.

Had the roast beef last Sunday, was not impressed at all, 1 slice of beef warm vegetables and 3 of the tiniest roast potatoes I've ever seen, they were so over done you could of broken a tooth on them, I did mention this to the manager who offered to have some more cooked but we said no thank you, colliflower cheese was excellent and so were yorkies just a shame the rest was below average.

Lovely evening at the wolferstan as usual, fantastic warm atmosphere from the staff particularly Brad this evening and really enjoyed our cowboy burger and beef lasagne. Thank you we will be back.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Staff were helpful but the rooms are in need of updating, ALSO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT WAS ON OFFER ROOM WISE, and the showers don't work properly and require of a good clean for removal of the mould & hair disgusting
