The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Miserable staff. Don't like cricket fans. Undercooked chips small bag.£2.75. Greasy undercooked chips. Clearly made from economy potatoes. Never again.

Didn't stay, just called in for beer and food. Service is excellent, atmosphere spot on, ask Mandy about everything she knows about the painted map in the restaurant 😁 and make sure to give plenty of fuss to Nettle 😊😊

Kerrie greeted us and despite us not having booked she quickly found us a table. She made us feel very welcome. The food was very good as always.

went for breakfast with the Easter bunny and I can’t fault it! so affordable and the staff and bunny were amazing!! Defiantly recommend ! Xx one happy little girl!

Ate here over the weekend, food and service always good but at bit slow this time. It's a really nice spot for a relaxing lunch/dinner

Beside the Stratford-upon-Avon canal, sit inside or out. Beer and food very nice. Have a stroll along the canal.

Expensive and disappointing. Second visit but this time, the food was lukewarm at best when brought to the table. Such a shame when the quality is there but why serve it cold. Unfortunately this has put us off. It wasn't cheap so we will take our custom elsewhere .

Poor service , missing food items , and forgot our desert We were just passing the Green Man on our way home so decided to call in for some lunch The place wasn't busy so expected the service to quick , looking at other reviews the comments seem to be repetitive for the issues we encountered Firstly there were missing items from the menu not on the plate when it was served t , trying to get someone to acknowledge and get the missing items just didn't happen as there only two staff and one was a young lad trying his best Stop insulting your clients with repetitive issues , this looks like a very common practice from your kitchen When we finally had the opportunity to tell the staff we had already finished our lunch , then to top it they forgot to bring out the desert after 25 minutes of waiting , and like mentioned it really wasn't busy Got a refund a left Sorry Green Man you service is shocking without sufficient apology Would not recommend and would not return , you live and learn about these places
