Ate here over the weekend, food and service always good but at bit slow this time. It's a really nice spot for a relaxing lunch/dinner

Lovely decor, fantastic food and friendly service. We were served by Donna and James who were both very attentive & friendly. Highly recommend the crusted lamb rump and the duo beef roast.

Lovely and very good quality food, a step up from your regular pub grub. Very friendly staff and helpful staff. Also they have bottomless gravy on a Sunday!!

Came here twice in two days because it was so nice. Excellent atmosphere, excellent food, excellent service. James on our first visit and Donna on our second were very friendly and attentive.

Came for some food yesterday evening, I was served by Rebecca, Her service was absolutely amazing, she was very attentive and made sure all our needs were met !! The food was to die for !! Will be visiting again soon !!

Delicious food - the fillet steaks were melt in the mouth and the dirty burger was definitely messy to eat but fantastic. The service was top class - thanks Donna for being so attentive. Even had a candle appear for my mum’s birthday!

I love this place, often go to have a quiet drink, staff are lovely, seating is comfortable, beautiful decor, outside seating is lovely and in the sunshine with umbrellas

Lovely sunny day, sat outside with our dog. Lunch time food was very good, although hubby still hungry after gammon. My chicken burger was very good. Service good.

We popped in for lunch, we live locally but haven't been here before. Overall it's such a lovely pub, nicely presented inside and out with a very comfortable area for drinks outside. Plenty of free parking. The service was excellent. My husband had the pie which was a good size portion and very tasty. I had the cod and chips, the chips were great-chunky, fluffy and crispy. The fish was such a disappointment. The piece of cod was so thin and small and there loads of batter, there was hardly any fish so all I could taste was batter. The texture of the batter wasn't very nice either. I would have happily paid more for a thicker, decent size piece of cod, the cod I was served was the smallest I've ever been served in a pub. I sat there in envy watching my husband eat his lovely pie. The other thing I was disappointed with was the specials menu, I was looking forward to seeing what was on there but it was mainly more steak options. There are already 3 steak options on the menu, is there a need for more steak? I personally would have preferred to see dishes on the specials which aren't featured on the main menu. We will definitely be back as overall it's a nice pub.

Good attentive service. It takes a lot for me to complain about the quality of food but my rib eye steak was very tough and almost inedible. I did say to the staff the steak wasn't the best and was difficult to get down. For the price I paid I was expecting the best.

We called in on the off chance Tues afternoon and we were greeted by a lovely lady Kelly and shown to a table service was second to none .. very attentive and friendly staff . Im a fussy eater but was put at ease nothing was too much trouble . Food was out of this world so hats off to chef Mihai we will be back ... certainly value for money ... fabulous !!!!

We went for Sunday lunch on Easter Sunday. Food was excellent. We had roast beef … generous portions …plus we had sides ….beautifully cooked. The service was very friendly and welcoming. This is a great pub and close to Sutton Coldfield.

We have been to the Cock Inn several times and always had a great meal and great service, all the staff are friendly on the bar and in the restaurant. Special thanks to our waitress Lydia who was super helpful on our last visit. Definitely be going back soon.

Hi I booked a meal 7oclock for two as it was my birthday we had drinks in the bar first and drinks again at the table We both had starters and a main so spent a few quid My granddaughter and her partner arrived at 9 o’clock to have drinks with us only to be told they was closing the pub because the pub had gone quiet I was absolutely fuming How can you plan a evening out if you don’t know wot time they are going to close Food not that good very expensive drinks Won’t be going back

We spent a Monday night here for my birthday. Returned after not visiting this pub for several years and was happy that it still retains a lovely atmosphere on both the bar and the restaurant. Extremely professional and friendly staff, lovely food. Thank you for a very pleasant evening.

What a find!! A chance Google search led us to The Cock for lunch after leaving the NEC in Birmingham and we got an unexpected treat. This is probably the best value for money food that I've eaten. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the service was great. It was quite busy in the restraunt with a good mix of people so I would imagine that booking on an evening would be essential. I can not speak highly enough about this great find, and although I live around 45mins away, I will be returning with friends and family. We have been back a couple of times now, and this place just gets better and better!!

Amazing Sunday lunch with the family.

We had a lovely couple of meals here. The food was very good, the atmosphere and welcome was warm. It was dog friendly too. However there was an error on the bill which was not seen until later. The staff were every understanding, apologetic and rectified it quickly. If you want to go to a place where you will have good food and be treated well, look no further. We have had excellent meals here on two occasions and it has not disappointed. Thank you for treating us well and rectifying any issues promptly. We are already looking forward to returning in the not too distant future!

Great food, great service. Used the voucher top for 50% off and even it was busy we still got very good service In restaurant and bar, big thank you to Abbie and the girls on the bar nothing was to much trouble. Bit pricey otherwise but the offer helped a lot. Definitely will return!

Fairly busy when we arrived but not a problem. Friendly welcome, fantastic staff ,great service and the food was excellent Lamb rump was wonderful, duo of beef delicious as was roast chicken. The roasted veg and extra veg were tasty and fresh . Dessert were excellent as were the drinks . Cheer tk all the staff for a wonderful experience

Great pub and bar in a great setting, cosy interior with Edison lighting and warm feeling. Good food and drink, but more expensive but certainly good value. Great for sitting outside in the summer!

First time back before the refurb, beautifully done and food was absolutely stunning.

This used to our local, it has changed since being re-furbished, the prices have gone through the roof, to be honest the food was lovely but not worth watching e eere charged.

My dad is super fussy and the lady with purple hair (sorry didn't catch her name) went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Honestly all the staff are just brilliant everytime, its nice to go somewhere where staff are bubbly and attentive!

Went boxing day, the service was very very slow considering there were only 3 tables occupied. No spoons given for soup or sweet , we had to rummage in drawer to get ourselves as no one about . Not asked if food was ok . Had fish and chips which seemed to be just batter and skin. Wont be going back

Food was awful & freezing cold! Staff/service and management all awful. I live a mile from here and go weekly and today was shocking! I’ve spent Xmas days here I will never again go here if I don’t have to and I’ll be letting g the locals know in our group chat how I was treated today!

Fantastic Christmas menu at a reasonable price. We also opted for the £15 upgrade which gave you a glass of fizz or Peroni on arrival, a cocktail and no menu supplements for courses on the Christmas menu. The portions were good, food and plates warm and the service quick and attentive. Our waitress was also lovely.

Went to Cock Inn Sunday morning. It's a lovely pub but I cannot understand the price of Asahi beer £6.80 a pint.Pub down road £6.10 a pint ?????

Christmas meal & drinks with work 18/12/2024. 3 course meal. Food was brilliant served hot and fresh tasted awesome talented shef. Service was top notch by the waitresses and bar staff. Parking was plenty. Highly recommend this establishment.
