Brewdog in Birmingham

Popped in while waiting for a train to be told they’ve closed half an hour before their advertised opening hours. I wouldn’t have come in if it hadn’t been advertised as being open. I would’ve understood the glances at watches had I been told when I walked in, but to wait for me to have a look at the selection before telling me they were closed? That was disappointing.

Do not go for food. So disappointing. There was a 40 minute wait and when it came out all 4 burgers were completely burnt. I couldn't eat mine. We were offered replacements but we had to go to a gig so were refunded instead. Atmosphere was good, staff were great, beer selection was ok. Also £3.75 to add fries to the burger is extortionate. Frustrating that we left hungry

Wing Wednesday! Had brilliant beer with some chicken wings. The service was really slow (had to wait 30mins for 6 chicken wings) but the taste and atmosphere was decent.

Popped in for a pint and some food lunch time on a Thursday. Told food was was pre order only and couldn’t order food despite 2 or 3 tables eating on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Had a pint wasn’t bad and left.

It was fine. A lot smaller and less well kept than the Pllymouth one I'm used to. But older, so forgiven. Still good beer.

Wern’t keen on the truffle fries too n the fried cauliflower was not better than cabana in london its a not for me

We didn't eat here, however as with all Brewdog pubs, the atmosphere has a good vibe and the service was excellent 👍🏼

Spent an hour or so here in the early evening as we were peckish and fancied a beer. Quite a lively place at the time we visited. The menu is quite limited in scope but we discovered a positive side to this, which is that what they do offer is brilliant quality. We ate a burger / chips plus a beer (here, you can have fractions of 1 pint, which we liked). Very tasty and great atmosphere. Happy with our visit and would return without hesitation. Thanks :)

The food and drink were great and the service was very good. Its a grim looking bar on the inside and the toilets carry a strong aroma of piss. Nice night out with family.

Disappointed with the latest visit. Beer is still good but not as large a choice. Knowledgeable staff, ask for samples if you are unsure. Not cheap but you get what you pay for but I think prices are starting to become too high.

Incredible staff, incredible atmosphere, incredible drinks. I cannot recommend the ciders enough.

I booked a table in advance for my dog's birthday. Arrived and received no preparation from the restaurant. No hat whatsoever. Ordered two dog ice cream and was told that these were frozen. We waited for over an hour for the ice cream to be ready, only when we all finished food, my dogs had a bit of their ice cream with still ice on top. Our food was also terrible. I don't recommend this place. Reply: we booked on the 11/17. You indicated that no dog party was booked last month. That's exactly what we were told when we arrived: sorry, we didn't check that it is for a dog party. You said ice cream needs to be frozen. Of course, nobody eats melted ice cream. But I meant deep frozen. The waiters told us that we were sorry we didn't prepare and now we need to put the ice cream out. My dogs only had their ice cream when we were about to leave this place!

We went for food but having seen the portion sizes, we went elsewhere.

Relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of beers that's constantly changing.

Staff when we was there were a little miserable (3pm and looked like they just couldn't be arsed) food took ages and both food and drink were a poor standard, place looked and felt dirty. Glad i payed in tesco vouchers because It felt like i spent nothing. Turtle Bay across the road is a hell of alot better.

Average. Booking wasn't on the system. The food took over 45mins for burger and chips. Overcooked dry chips and burgers. One guy had to get refund to how poor his meal was. Staff drinking while behind the bar. First time visit and was thinking this a great place as I'm a huge fan of brewdog. But this let it down. Wouldn't visit again. Online qr code doesn't work either.

Jack was top notch. Attentive with our service throughout the full bottomless brunch, defo made the day for us 2 mates on a boozer. Cheers again Jack 5* (brewdog make sure you give Jack the recognition and don’t let him leave)

Expensive beer, crowded and loud.

Noisy, straight forward Brewdog Pub. Lost of beers lots of high ABV ! Very close to centre and if you like a drop of Punk Ale, worth a visit !

Expensive not many seats available. Many reserved

The staff were not welcoming on arrival. We ordered a latte on the app and were told that they don't do hot drinks. We waited for over an hour for our food and had to leave without eating, as we were going to a concert. I complained and got my money back but the staff were not bothered at all. I will never step foot in a Brewdog again.

Really bad service. Rude and Lazy....

Excellent service and food. Bar staff (manager?) was very knowledgeable on the drinks and gave fantastic recommendations. The food was well cooked and presented and tasted fantastic. The truffle cheese fries are to die for 🤤 and if you are lucky enough to win the deep fried Oreos or opt to buy them, you are in for a very decadent treat. The kitchen manager (Callum) was very accommodating of our needs as I liked my burger well done and one in our party is a Vegan, which was very well catered for as he ensured all the products she chose were Vegan and treated as such.

Good venue - great beers (obvs). On this occasion we were told that if we ordered food in the next 15 minutes - all would be ok. We did this. Order accepted through app only to be told kitchens closed. Shame. Still great pub overall.

Thanks to the team (especially Jack and Emma) for a great experience and for looking after our quite large group yesterday.

Chicken not good threw up as I left

Awful service. Ordered on Uber eats, allows you to order “hasstleback potatoes” they don’t show up. Called the restaurant to ask for them to be sent over as they were missing, was met with a man telling me that they do not offer these at that particular branch. I understood and asked for a refund and was told I have to do the refund myself through Uber eats and that they wouldn’t do anything to compensate. Gone through Uber eats in order to get a refund and have been told I am not eligible for a refund. Surely that can’t be true as I’ve now paid for goods that I will not receive. Will not be ordering from here again

Felt very awkward and not welcome, i prebooked a tasting which was promoted on social media and showed my confirmation email and qr code and staff were confused and even the manager was confused and unaware. Felt like we were being watched all the time so didn't enjoy this part of our evening.

Really disappointing visit. We waited 1hr45 for our food, whilst all the neighbouring tables arrived after us and received their food whilst we waited!

A great place to pop into for a drink. The surroundings were great and felt very relaxing.

Very understaffed. Good for drinks but avoid for food.

Great bar and staff amazing. Server knocked a beer over where I ordered 3 pints and she insisted she pay for the whole round. That would never happen anywhere else. So credit where its due. Plus the beer and food were excellent

Unfortunately 2*. I booked for wings Wednesday and wrote in the booking notes “please let me know if you run out of vegan wings as that’s what we’re coming for”. When we arrive we’re seated by a super kind waiter and the basement area has a lovely ambience! But when we order we’re told they’re out of vegan wings… which is the whole reason we went. Lots of effort to get there to just have to leave straight away. Won’t be returning

Did the Brewdog Beer school with Joe and excellent night. Really good knowledge and great beer. Always loved Brewdog and this was well worth it. Thanks again Joe.

Nice place for a beer, they were really busy when we were there so understandably service wasn’t as good as it could have been.

Ordered food, wings and Mac and cheese, wings really good 👍 Mac and cheese had No cheese on it, literally a bowl of plain pasta! Spoke to the manager, he took it away and 10 minutes brought the same bowl of plain pasta but with some crispy opinions ontop and Zero cheese! 😅 asked again and was told they had added cheese! They bloody well didn’t. What a joke. And a great way to turn off your customers . The manager and chef need some training. Do Not order the Mac and cheese 🙈

Wings are alright. Got the spicy ones and it's was okay. Mostly batter but anyway. Ordered Mac and cheese and it was just Mac. Could could up the total cheese used on my thumbnail. Sent it back for cheese and they sprinked some dried onions and gave it back 10mins later. I asked so where's the cheese and he says I assure you it's on there. I said I assure you im not paying for that as half of it is non existent. He declares there was a cheese sauce but it was more bland then the bottom half of a year 7 pasta pot. If you want a real drink like cider id avoid this place it's only got hipster £8 pint mids. Honestly walk next door to turtle Bay and get a real meal and some rum cocktails 2 for 1.

Had a “Beer School” experience. Joel was our “talker” he was excellent. Had a fabulous time. The “cheese board” was extremely disappointing though. Not worth the effort. Joel made up for it! Thanks Joel

Has a wide range of beers and a good atmosphere. Good central location near the new street station.

The best burgers I think I've ever had! Craft beer selection also excellent and delicious. Very helpful staff. Also a great music selection if you're into alternative, rock or metal. This place can get busy in the evenings though!

Very busy and quite noisy don't come here for a quiet pint but on the plus side a good selection of beers and other drinks and you can taste any one you are thinking of buying. Good seating outside on a dry day and nice bench seats inside.

We did the beer school experience today and our host Joel was a treat. Rent-a-friend for a couple of hours! Great food also. The Buffalo wings were especially fantastic.

Organised a work teams event for the quiz and food. Great atmosphere, quiz was great fun. Food quality was excellent however was very spread out in terms of coming to the table, probably due to the large number of us in attendance.

Jack was a brilliant staff member, very attentive, fast service and very friendly

Had lovely beer tasting experience on 9th Sep 24, Emma and her apprentice were knowledgeable about all aspects of "real ale" and the Brew Dog history. Great little pub, ale was wonderful food looked great too. Highly recommend this place. Thx from the Bevingtons.

The beer takes centre stage. Love the 'flight' that lets you try 4 different beers.

Sunday evening 6.30 ordered a beer like Guinness i got Black Heart which looked great but tasted like Guiness Zero. But was ok to be fair. Ordered their special chicken bacon salad sandwich. After paying i got informed no bacon. I said ok no pro i was starving. 5 mins later no bread!! Can do it on burger buns. Ok no prob. I then received a bag of crisps for free. Which was nice. Just think shpuld have been better stocked for what was on offer. But not a bad experience.

Went for drinks so can't rate the food. Good atmosphere, friendly staff

Had a very nice pint of pineapple cider. Nice place,shame no one could be bothered to put the toilet rolls into the dispenser in any of the ladies toilets.

Big disappoitment. From BrewDog pub I was expecting at least BIG choice of beers. Meanwhile they had very poor choice and lets be honest most of the beers are available in the supermarkets. On top of that they runned out of 2 draft beers made for pub only... I'm very dissapointed with a beer choice. Food average and I feel like it was full of MSG but I can't confirm for sure also waiting time for my food took 40 minutes. Although service was good and staff were friendly

A friend and I had tge90 minutes bottomless brunch. Both had the chicken burger and fries, very tasty. Good service and great beer.

visited Brew Dog Birmingham city centre 25th August. First time we had been there a birthday voucher. Had a lovely time the staff were great Joel was super helpful and could not have been more helpful. The food was fab so big thank you to Callum who was on duty at short notice. Big thanks Joel and Callum we will be back.

Once found it's a great venue a bit of the main drags where the other bars are. Friendly bar staff as well.

Had a very good Beer school session with Jay, also good tastings and knowledge. Would come again to eat out good branding and nice menu

I brought my 5 year old daughter here for dinner while we were on holiday and had a wonderful experience. All of the staff were brilliant, the bar and waiting staff were so welcoming and put my daughter at ease. The food was great, I had a "Hoppy Meal", and my daughter a "Billy the Grilly" cheese toastie. Both were great value and really enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again very soon.

Had a couple of drinks and food and was served by Emma who was so lovely and helpful in helping me choose my drinks. I also came back to this same bar as last time I visited Birmingham a man named Andy served me and he was also super friendly and made me feel very welcome.

Had a god night in the bar as usual, but we ordered some chips and onion rings to the table, previously, chips have come out in a decent sized bowl, but not now. Its a handful in a little teacup. £17 for two teacups of chips and a handful of onion rings, that was really poor
