Still one of the best in the area for food and drink, great selection of dishes for each day of the week, fast service and large drinks selection

This place has become my go-to spot whenever I'm working in Leam. Food is always on point and service is brill 🤗 All the staff are lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended if you're in Leam 😀

I came with friends and the food was good, and the staff were amazing and really friendly! I had an overall great time and I’ll definitely come back.

Very disappointed, chips and peas were cold. Table's sticky, they need a good clean not just a wipe over Definitely not as good as it used to be.

I got the Full English Breakfast. There was only one sausage, and it looked overcooked. The bacon tasted ok, but it looked slightly under done. Nice single egg. The hash browns and beans were the only good part.

Ordered through the app. Drinks arrived quickly, food wasn't far behind. Food was better than expected. Arrived quickly and hot instead of Luke warm. Just what we needed after a long day driving!

Last few visits have not been great food has been very poor, today was our last visit, i had the quadzilla burger and the wife had the sloppy joes, both chips on the plates were actually cold not even warm, the portion sizes have drastically changed since the last manageress left, the wifes toasted texas bread was black on the bottom a stunk of being burnt while the top was also burnt they had at least tried to hide it by the clear cuts missing from the toast! Dont get me started on the soft drinks they come in a glass only 2/3rds full no ice, you feel your getting your pants pulled down! It was explained that the machine is set measures,....so explain how my wifes diet dr pepper was a half inch lower than my coke zero (same glasses) A chap then came to the bar with a diet coke that was nearly full to the brim, he said it did not taste right! So they exchanged his drink (same glass) again nearly full to the brim! Me and wife looked at our nearly half empty glasses and realised someone was clearly having a laugh! Hungry horse was a regular visit once a fortnight at least. Im sorry but its in a very consistant decline.

Food is ok. Could be a better veg/pescetarian menu. Staff are nice, making is good however I don't like that I couldn't order half pins of soft drinks.

Always enjoy it here, been regularly since I moved to Warwick. Back again today and still brilliant

Kayla was really attentive and fixed the couple of minor issues with how the food was cooked with a smile. Very polite and the kids liked her so happy with her service! Food prices are great and drink prices are even better! Get great value for money eating here.

Good food, reasonably priced, been to the Royal Horse before and always friendly staff, we were served by Kayla and she checked back on food promptly and fixed a little kitchen order error for us.

Fantastic meal again this evening. Ronan brought us our food over and as always he was so lovely, he’s always so polite, very attentive and does everything with a smile. The service from him is always second to none and you can see he enjoys his job and cares about the customers. Food was fabulous as always and will be back soon :)

Sausages seem to be warmed up the skin is that hard on them you can hardly cut them.. Bacon is totally burnt and all you can taste is burnt throughout the breakfast. Tried fobbing us off no mushrooms on breakfast either Hair found in food!! Wouldn’t even give 1 star!! No food in stock! Very limited stock!

Service provider very friendly, helpful and attentive. Semmed like he (Roman )was working fast compared to the other employees. Excellent service.

Was served this evening by Ronan, what a lovely lad, very pleasant, very helpful and accommodating. He thought about one of our children when ordering from the sizzler menu and offered to leave the skillet out to avoid burns. He even asked if there were any allergies to be aware of before ordering (which has never happened in all the years of coming) 5 stars Ronan 🌟 They didn't have all the things for the meal I wanted (crispy chicken sandwich, no ciabatta) and I was sceptical about ordering it but am glad I did as it was just as delicious if not more so with normal garlic bread. Thanks for a delicious family dinner out 😋😍

Ronan really impressed me with his service tonight, I really went welcome, me and my work friends have visited many hungry horses but this is by far the best!

We went for food and a couple of drinks as a group today- food was delicious and came out piping hot. Had a great selection of drinks which we all enjoyed, and Liz couldn’t have been more helpful.

We called for breakfast there on Friday morning most disappointing. The bacon had been cooked on a griddle that was black swimming in Greece. The sausages didn’t taste right and the beans were cold. Our breakfast was a great disappointment.

GM Dylan made the food and it was amazing, came and checked on us to make sure everything was okay. The food was delicious, and the price was amazing.

incorrect food came out, no bitters or ales all ran out on a Saturday.

Been here before a good few times but what a difference and not in a good way,tables were dirty, plate's needed clearing away. We ate food was ok. As we were about to leave I decided to use the toilet,I opened the door and the smell was absolutely disgusting like raw sewage,I quickly shut the door and went into the disabled toilet that still smelt but not as bad I looked up and saw a sticky fly catcher absolutely covered in flies,I then ran outside and unfortunately threw my dinner up. My family came out and said we should tell someone so we spoke to the manager who happened to be sitting on a table he wasn't interested he just said email Greene king and that there is a disabled toilet to use,I said this is a good establishment and those toilets should not be open. I have emailed Greene king and have heard nothing. Very disappointed.

The breakfast here is very poorly cooked and presented tbh. Someone doesnt seem to know how to fry. My bacon was covered in pan grease & had a burnt fim over it. The sausages were of a poor standard and the mushrooms were hardly cooked. Ive only had 3 breakfasts here 2 of which have been poor. I wont be back! The whole place needs a revamp tired furniture. Lovely hanging baskets and grounds though.

Very disappointed would like a refund ! My chicken was cold my chips where cold and undercooked and my onion rings where soggy. My boyfriend’s Mac and cheese was cold, bland, unseasoned and slimy. I would like a refund and this was appalling.

Food not good, very poor compared to previous visits. Rude staff who couldn’t give a hoot about customers.

Very disappointing, not up to usual standard. Dry scampi, peppercorn sauce missing of a steak and misleading candymania ice cream. No candy with the ice cream as expected on the children’s meal deal. Very rude female behind the bar. Also a blocked toilet giving a horrendous smell in the ladies!

The Royal Horse is the best Hungry Horse establishment I have been in. We went on a Friday evening when it was busy and we didn't wait for a table. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have to say that the food was head and shoulders above other Hungry Horse venues I have been in. Price wise the Royal Horse is exceptionally competitive and offers brilliant value for money. For me the only downside was the music. It was incredibly loud, so having a conversation was difficult. Other than that small issue it was a very good venue.

Visiting the area, decided on hungry horse. We were not disappointed, fabulous welcoming staff and customers. Food was excellent great portion size, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Excellent music selection. Staff rushed off their feet but nothing was too much trouble. We only wish we lived nearer,or at least our local hungry horse was this good. Warwick you are lucky.

Good food, good prices but the staff stand out, particularly Ronan who never stopped the whole time we were there. Fantastic member of the team!!

Really enjoyed eating here with the family. The food was good, big portions and vale for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely come here again if I'm in the area.

Negatives: Steak ordered rare, came out stone cold and was like trying to chew through a leather boot. Served wine in dirty glass Everything is either done in the microwave or brought frozen and deep fried. Peas had looked like they had been stewing in a pot for hours Positives: Chap at the bar did give me a free drink to make up for it, and service wasn’t bad. Only reason for the 2 star and not the 1 really.

Terrible food.. payed £46. For a tiny bowl of chips no.more than 10 in there. Kids mash was 1 table.spoon of microwave mash but very hard. Carrots were white said they out of a bag already cut... not nice at all. 1 hr waiting time...

Despite stating at the bar that we wanted our starters before our mains all of the food came out together, pointed this out to the waiter who replied “you must’ve asked for it all out together at the bar” clearly we didn’t which is poor from him as he should’ve just apologised and took it back rather than try belittle me. food itself was nice however the young service staff running around the restaurant heaving out loud at someone’s blister and swearing at each other in front of tables with young children around very off putting hearing people make vomiting noises when your trying to enjoy your food. Not what we expected from greene king quite disappointed. Probably wouldn’t have raised this in the review had the waitress that had clearly been spoken to by the manager about the language smirking as we walked away.

Stale vegs, glass stinking like dirty rag, 90% mayyonaise and 10% vegs in coleslaw upd. I don't know what recipe you use but I know that even Tesco coleslaw is better than yours. And how about a quality check of how your kitchen/dishwashing staff works instead of accusing customers of lying?

Souless, appears staff not want to be there, poor food, not good value. Needs proper management and staff training.

I will never put my family through something like this again. We arrived on time and were made to stand to be seated, without anymore coming to meet us we found a table, although there were 3 members of staff stood by the bar chatting. The table, chairs and menus were minging and could not believe the state of the conditions we are about to eat and drink in . Anyway I did not make a fuss because I wanted to have a nice time with my grand children, wife & daughter, but the meal was beyond belief for the wrong reasons, and it was not till the next day you realise how bad it was . When they served the (so called food) the waitress managed to drop 2 of the chicken nuggets on the floor, which she apologised for, however she said I will replace what I have dropped and within second's 2 chicken nuggets arrived in a separate dish. Then they came out with what was supposed to be a children's bangers & mash, and I have to say the sausages were so over cooked (nearly black) there was no meat inside them, so we brought this straight back to the waitress and she said that's the way they are cooked and we cannot do anything about it, so we agreed on changing the sausages for chicken nuggets, but she did say that the nuggets will need to be cooked and will take 10 minutes, so how come the 2 chicken nuggets they dropped on the carpet were replaced in seconds, I don't think I need to explain anymore. This bad experience also cost me the best part of £60.00 . It was a dreadful meal and overall experience and we will never return to this place again, such a shame as I was looking forward to having a lovely lunch with my family.
