This place is going backwards. Food was tasteless, service was indifferent, other than one waitress. Our Cokes were watered down and we were given ice despite asking for no ice. We were bothered by flies. It felt dirty. Management needs a wake up call!

Another good night out in our favourite family pub. We took our baby grandson out, sat in the garden for a drink and a couple of burgers, before moving inside to watch the football. The food was great, good value and quick service. We were well looked after by Kayla - service with a big smile!! Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

Went to watch the champions league match and had a bit of food whilst we were there. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was very disappointing compared to what it used to be. The garlic ciabatta was soggy, chicken was dry, had a very small amount of cheese sauce (cheese sauce used to ooze down the sides before), the fries left a bad burnt like taste in mouth after and the onion rings were wet and soggy as well. This is normally a good meal but this time it was overly disappointing, almost rushed because it was ordered around 40 mins before the kitchen gets closed.

David is a really friendly guy when he's behind the bar always chatty and making customers feel welcome and always bantering with them he's always helpful when it comes to customer service.

Marnie was very helpful and very respectful when approaching and handling our food.

Went to this spot on the way back from a trip and I have to say that the service from a young girl named Jaimie was outstanding, very friendly and a good laugh and also pours a cracking pint. Will be back in the future for sure.

I had the mixed grill, asked for steak medium, came out well done, food was cold. Won't be eating there again. AWFUL.

It's a lively and fun spot to grab a beer with friends, but don’t expect much beyond that. The food is fairly average overall. The staff are generally okay, though it's not unusual to find yourself at a sticky table with spilled drinks, sauce, etc. and no one around to clean it up.

Food was amazing, steak was cooked to my liking and service was very friendly and staff such as Kyoto made my experience great. Would come again.

Came to the pub today for a classic fish and chips food came out quick and was amazing, nothing to much. Was served by Kayla at the bar very friendly and smiley always a pleasure to come here.

The food was a let down, I had to send the waffles back as it came out with a sauce that was supposed to be hollandaise but was watery with lumps in and the poached eggs were hard. All in all not a great experience. The staff member took the plate away and came back without the sauce on it without a fuss.

We used to go to the Hungry Horse alot a few years ago the food was always good and affordable for the family. Sunday my husband had the Full Monty mixed grill the chicken looked microwaved and onion rings weren't cooked enough and definitely not worth 15.00. I ordered Nachos to share which were cold when they came they were burnt and not very nice at all. I ordered lasagne which was a pub classic which I thought they couldn't get wrong but it was awful it was dried up no sauce no cheese on top I complained to the waitress and she took it back to hhe kitchen and they apologised and sent out a fresh one which wasn't much better. Unfortunately I won't be eating there again it's not value for money as it is the same price in better places. Don't eat here you'll be disappointed. The whole place needs a refurbishment also. The waiting staff are pleasant and helpful it's the ones working in the kitchen need some training.

i came in for food on the weekend and there was one person who stood out and was amazing at her job. I think i seen her name was alicia on her name tag, she was so polite and was well mannered, her service was outstanding, she made me feel very welcome. the food portions was great size me and my bf had a shared plate, food was very nice. 10/10 experience

Food was really nice, I ordered the Smokin Jack, and it came out exactly how I wished it cooked, and the price for the food was great too. In addition the service from the staff was great. Kyoto was my server, friendly and polite, catered to all my needs.

Been using pub for food and drink for a while now as i am working away from home, great staff and in particular Kayla she is a really friendly and lovely girl nothing is too much trouble for her and she always puts the customer first.

We come in here every Sunday after church for food and drinks. The staff are always friendly and I must give them credit for their work in a busy and stressful environment.

Very polite staff. Food was really good. Sausages weren't the best. Everything else was excellent. I love the price of a breakfast here. Wait was not long at all. Probably 5 minutes. They have options for dairy free milk in tea. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Had the best experience at the hungry horse. A man named Micheal served me and he was really good and very helpful, a very friendly and helpful individual. The food came out fresh and warm and my Stella was cold as an ice rink. Pint and a curry for £8 can’t go wrong. And with a helpful man like Micheal serving me it makes it bargain of the year.

Have left it a while to write a review, as disgusted with this Hungry Horse. We came from Somerset , my son and wife from Coventry and other son and Partner from Ross. Seven of us all together, So wasn't a cheap meal. Every meal came out cold. When I mentioned it to the lady who served us, she said well , that's a lot of food to take back, I will get you some hot chips to make up for it. It really didn't. Will never go here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It needs updating, tables are sticky and food cold.

Late review but, so I took my friends here, to chill and had lunch and as they had never eaten here before and I recommend this place to them. They said 5/5, great food, I had something different this time than usual, my usual was burger and fries, it’s perfect. Used to love this place, and visit every Sunday but unfortunately after our recent visit we won’t be returning. The staff are rude, and quite clearly don’t want to be there. Heard staff moaning about customers every time they walked in. Ordered a deluxe milkshake and instead of telling us they had run out of it they bought over a yazoo carton. They would have allowed us to pay for the deluxe too! Woman rolled her eyes when we mentioned about it. Staff just aren’t as friendly as they were on our last visit. The place was absolutely freezing too, as someone who has a chronic illness, the cold really affects me. I was so poorly for days after because the cold.

Who can't cook an egg? One like a hockey puck, the other like runny snot. Waffles and ham benedict sauce barely warm. The refund was, at least, handled well.

Visited this weekend as the weather was nice with partner and 3 children. Food was nice, good menu, the young lad who served us was polite, cheery and he was good with the children, even said he didn't mind picking the food my little obe spilt on the floor up as he saw I was busy with my baby. So thankyou Ronan, as I do find going out with the children stressful sometimes and you really made a difference

No welcome , dirty table (sticky) , waited for 10 mins at bar to order food and was ignored , till I made a gesture of needing serving for our Sunday roasts. The beef was inedible and asked for better cuts of beef and the girl came back with a black peppered bit of beef which was just about chewable! No wonder the restaurant was empty , and we did see a few people send their food back. We have been several times on a Sunday and had no problems, but we won’t be going back now .!

As pubs go, this isn't too bad. It's mega busy sometimes with families & lots of kids from the adjacent housing estates. If this is your thing, then great. If you want a nice quiet drink/meal... forget it! Food is great value & a good menu...but it's certainly not fine dining! Gut filling on a budget! Ordering from the bar can be pretty chaotic & slow too. Usually good orderly queues form but there's always one clown who thinks they're more important. Car park can get pretty rammed too at peak times. Have visited & left on more than 1 occasion simply because I couldn't find a parking space.

Food quality has deteriorated in recent months, but is still worth checking out. Will probably call here again, but will wait a while
