Clock Tower Cafe in Warwick

We visited here with our Guide Dog puppy to meet with the sponsors who gave him his name. It was a brilliant visit and a lovely, calm atmosphere

Made to feel welcome can't rate food as not eaten here had a very nice de Caffè coffee, place was clean comfortable setting, staff made you feel welcome ,nothing was to much trouble, toilets were very clean plenty of hand-wash. Definitely call there again .

Didn't eat in, just called in a coffee break,very pleasant staff very helpful good value for money

Nice cafe, I had cake and a hot drink for £5 which was nice. They have clean baby changing facilities. Elise(?) Who served us was particularly lovely. Nice sausage sandwich too

I love clock tower cafe and spend a lot of my time here with friends and studying, the staff are very very lovely and it has a nice atmosphere. However, charging 4 pounds for a 330ml bottle of coke or a small can of red bull is unacceptable and I don’t know anywhere else with these prices, they charge more for these kinds of drinks than fancy coffees which doesn’t feel right and I hope something can be changed. Other than that it’s great

Didn't eat. Menu looked reasonable & not to expensive. Service very slow not the staffs fault Need more staff. Poor toilet, very hard to pull toilet roll kept breaking, washing hands liquid soap filled up with water I think. Not a brilliant experience but I enjoyed the company we were with ..

Once again the cafe is selling unbranded coffee as Starbucks! Only when questioning the poor taste I was advised by the batista that the cafe had run out of Starbucks coffee a few days previously. This reflects poorly on the Hotel for: 1. Not having signage to advise customers of the change. 2. Masquerading non branded coffee as Starbucks. I'm sure that Starbucks would like me be unhappy with this happening.

Popped in spontaneously for the first time last weekend after needing an evening coffee stop with the family, really enjoyed the decor and vibe from this place. Found that for star bucks coffee the prices were really great and the sizes of drinks were great too. Only knocked off a star due to it being a bit slow and waitress not knowing what our actual drinks were so was a bit of a guessing game between us.

After ordering 1 coffee and 1 tea after waiting for 1 hour we eventually got them in takeaway cups after chading up the order as they had run out of cups. Refused them and told them wanted them in proper china. Said they were really busy. If I hadn't paid up front would have left. Really bad service. Very disappointed.

Whilst the staff are always very friendly and polite, and the coffee to be of good quality, I wish I could say the same about cleanliness. Each time I have visited recently I have found the floors to be in need of a good clean, with accumulation of dust and dirt. In addition I have found the crockery to be sent out still stained from previous use. I find myself looking to see if there's space in other coffee shops first nowadays.

Impromptu visit on the way through Kenilworth to break up the journey and we were delighted at our choice. Our well behaved dog was welcome, staff were very friendly, chatty and smiley. We ordered breakfast and coffee easily and this was waaay better than we expected. Very tasty and a good portion. The atmosphere was so chilled, our dog was happy, and therefore we had a very enjoyable stop. Thank you. High recommended.

Good refurbishment finally gives the place a warm atmosphere and a nice place to have a coffee. That said, for the last few weeks no cream available for any of the usual drinks. Now they have run out of Starbucks coffee (temporarily) and are serving another brand with no notification to customers. Only discovered this on drinking it!!! Disappointing.

Lovely space, lots of tables, but so so busy when I was here - there was only one person making drinks and it took far too long to bring them over really.

Stopped for lunch whilst charging the car. Great car charger, just register your number plate on the screen in the cafè. Dog friendly with dog bowl and waitress bringing over some dog treats. Ordered a "warm" toasted sandwich for over £12 (not even including fries which would be extra £4) which took over half an hour to come, despite there only being one other table. And then it was super cold and not nice either. Soft drink was served in a plastic cup. :/ Overall very poor experience.

Food was ok . Behind the counter the young man was almost disinterested. Had to ask if they did breakfast. !!! It was 9.00am. Coffee was poor

This is a bar at the side of the hotel in Kenilworth. It recently ran an open mic night, we attended and managed to take part, the staff very friendly, the clientele very friendly. Nice place. I would like to thank them for running the evening and giving us the oppertunity to test a couple of songs. Very nice place i will be going back again, and hope to play there to . Thank you

This is a real gem located in the heart of Kenilworth with a great view of the Town from the comfortable conservatory. From here you can sit back and relax and explore the new menu that offers an extensive selection from snacks to main meals. On this occasion I opted for a freshly prepared chicken mayonnaise sandwich served on a choice of breads or a roll. This was accompanied with a delightful side salad drizzled with a very tasty dressing and crisps. The in house gateau's offer a great selection and are delicious some of the best I have tried. Coffee is Starbucks and very good but the food is freshly prepared by the hotels chefs and is a real delight. Service is exceptional and the young waiter/barista Luke is a great ambassador for the Hotel. He is always friendly, courteous and nothing is to much trouble regardless of how busy he is. Please pass on our thanks to him for his pleasant manner and for making another visit very enjoyable and memorable.

A fantastic service and reasonably priced food. The breakfast bap and macaroni cheese dippers were delicious- compliments to the chef. Service was superb and we felt very welcome. Outside seating was plentiful. Thank you ! Be back here again soon for definite ❤️❤️❤️

Located in the heart of Kenilworth this is an ideal venue for food and drink. Free parking is a bonus whilst using the hotel coffee shop but remember to log your vehicle on the automated system at reception. I have been a number of times since the refurbishment and the food and service has been great. On my most recent visit I opted for freshly brewed decaffeinated coffee which was Starbucks and very good. The food however is not part of the Starbucks standard fare but cooked freshly in the Hotel. The bacon sandwiches I can recommend with a generous filling of delicious prime back bacon with a choice of sauces. The seating area is most pleasant with a relaxed atmosphere. This leads to another conservatory area where you can sit and watch the world go by. Definitely worth a visit whether a local or visiting the area.

Went last night to the cafe and there was live music on, I have to say he was brilliant! (Sorry don't know the name!) The staff were ALL excellent being efficient and welcoming. I thoroughly recommend a Thursday evening with live music. I can't wait to hear one of the members of staff's sing as I'm told he's amazing! (Mr Bailey?)

Floor was absolutely disgusting Waited 10-15 minutes for drinks to arrive even though it was dead Staff just standing chatting Tables not being cleared No apology for drinks taking so long

I ordered a cappuccino. What a disappointment. At least half the cup was foam. Never again. There are lots of other coffee shops in Kenilworth.

Went here today and wasn't aware it has been refurbished. This is a much better space from when purely a Starbucks, nice staff and they have their own menu. I had a sgt batch was was actually very yummy! Good place to meet in central Kenilworth Make sure that you put your VRM in the tablet else you will get charged and it is to the left of the bar area.

Perfectly pleasant. I like the big outdoor area, too.

Expensive but the food was beautiful

We popped in for coffee...only two people in the cafe. Two staff, just carried on with what they were doing and completely ignored me until I interrupted to ask to be served. A manager then arrived and proceeded to have a protracted argument with one of the staff. Will not be back!

Recently renovated, this is now more modern, spacious and inviting. They have reverted to serving Starbucks coffee, as they had previously, before changing to something more in-house. Starbucks would not normally be our first choice but the flat whites are a good size and tasty and the renovation appears to have attracted more customers, which is all good.

We thought we would give the newly refurbished clock tower cafe a try today. Disappointed doesn't come close. We just wanted a couple of coffees my wife sat down and I went to the bar as there was no sign of table service. At the bar there were 2 bar staff one was instructing another in how to make coffee. After being ignored for a few minutes the instructor said " there is someone in front of you and I am training you will have to wait" after standing at the bar for a good 10 minutes being ignored I gave up and my wife and I left and went to one of the many other coffee shops in Kenilworth where the staff have been on a customer service course and know how to treat customers. We will NOT be rushing back. Shocking service.

Went in for coffee got coffee straightaway but still no sandwich after 1/2 an hour. If this is the sort of service I will give less than a month to go out of business

Arrived at 4.40pm to be told that they aren't serving people. Why say you are open until 5 if you can't buy a coffee at 4.40?

Would like stronger Americano. Location is good

Disappointed. Expensive considering the limited choice of food, including microwaved, spongy paninis. and a 20 minute wait for drinks.

Had a lovely afternoon with friends at the Clock Tower Cafe. The service was really good.

Great coffee, friendly helpful staff and the outdoor seating area is spacious and feels safe. There were 6 of us meeting for the first time in ages and when it suddenly rained and hailed on us the lovely staff came running out with parasols to protect us from the elements. We were thus able to stay for over 2 hours. Toilets were also excellent with hand sanitizer available on the wall outside so that after using the door handle to leave you could sanitize again. Really good.

Excellent full English breakfast, quality bacon, sausages and hash browns. Americano was a lovely complement to my meal

Tapas was absolutely delightful, excellent customer service with welcoming smiley faces, definitely a more hidden gem.

Even in the strange times of COVID the staff are really friendly and helpful. Really like how they have thought about moving around the cafe and the flip over signs to indicate a table to be clean. Good internet connection over a well made latte. Great start to the day.

First time visiting this cafe - polite and helpful staff. Gorgeous coffee and a tasty vegan pickle and cheese sandwich! It’s was quite full so clearly a popular place to visit! Will visit again when in Kenilworth.

Went a couple of weeks ago didn't realise it wasn't a Starbucks anymore but thought we would still try it as we enjoy sitting in there and watch the world go by but unfortunately it was a terrible service the girl messed our order up and then ask us how to make caramel latte. Tables wasn't cleaned down. Staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Won't be going there again now.

Visited this cafe that used to be starbucks. Very friendly cafe lovely atomsphere. Good selection of food,cakes are made locally. Shame not enough local produce. Coffee was nice & croissant.
