I always come on Tuesday for mix it up deal. It's a great value for money. Mags and Faye look after me well. Thank you both for yor hospitality!

Visited The Cambridge with my family for a meal, this place has such polite and friendly staff which made such an impact. We were served by a friendly waiter Danielle, who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door, made sure our table was clean, recommended food choices for us and even accommodated for allergies and preferences for our meals. Danielle checked on us throughout our stay and made sure we were comfortable and happy with the food. The food and drinks were delicious, the service was great. I definitely recommend this place! 10/10

We had a family meal at The Csmbridge tonight and we ordered starters and main meals. I've never had such awful service. We were only half way through our starters and the manager', yes the manager decided to bring out our mains when we had hardly had any room on our table due to us still eating our starters! He just stood there waiting for us to make room for the main meals. He just stood there looking really miserable while we had to make room for our main meals. He even took away one if our starters which we hadn't finished! What he should have done was take the main meals back into the kitchen and waited for us to finish our starters. I've been a waitres' i know the procedure. The managers name is George and after that I watched him throughout our meal just talking to some person that was drinking in there. I could see all the other staff working really hard especially our waitress Tia. She was running around doing everything.

Que at the bar bit to long,very slippy floor needs adressing,fetch own cutlery, unique don't agree,small things but if paying for a meal don't expect that

Our first visit,it's a hungry horse pub,was very impressed by the menu,including desserts menu and the offers that they have on during the week.we booked a table for 4 adults.the table had a reservation on it with the surname it was booked under.myself and my partner ordered 2 mains,came to £26.we went on a Sunday,was very busy,tables are kept clean,food was very tasty.

The food came out quickly, Chloe made sure everything was good and really looked out for us. She really made sure we were looked after and made it a great experience

Went for breakfast and was served by ashleigh who was very helpful and polite, I asked her if she could change something on my order and she went above and beyond. She asked the chef Wayne if it was OK and they both were very accommodating. Food was lovely and service. Thank you very much

Great chain pub, very cheap, nice food and they accept the blue light card too, so it can work out as cheap as Wetherspoons, but a nicer atmosphere. Great for families.

1st visit Jan '25 excellent 2nd Visit 5.3.25 again excellent. Salmon was gorgeous and the staff are very friendly and professional. Will be returning

Had a lovely lunch at Longbridge, took two of my lovely friends.

I had a really good afternoon. Alex & Chef Wayne really were great. I ordered chicken nuggets, fish finger wraps and chocolate fudge cake. Alex was friendly and attentive.

My friend and I have been to The Cambridge before but would definitely say that we had a better experience second time around. We were served by a lovely lady called Mags who couldn’t do enough for us. My friend ordered the steak and ale pie only to be told that that they had run out (this was at approximately 12:00) Mags went to check as this didn’t seem right. Turns out there was an error with the system. I ordered refillable tea but there were no jugs to pour the milk into. Last visit there were only big glass tumblers to use! Mags went and brought out a small jug when asked. We were also checked on to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was half term during our last visit so very busy but regardless of how busy the venue is, staff should always ask if all is well with the meal. Would definitely go again. Fish and chips next time!!

Really good service from the staff. They were so helpful and accommodating with me. I also found the staff lovely I have a nut allergy and staff went above and beyond. Thank you team for a really good service ♡

We reserved a table and a very helpful waitress Mags showed us to another table which was better for the wheelchair. She cleaned the table and after ordering brought our meals, then checked everything was fine. We had the Sunday roast and a dessert. The food was very good, the service excellent and in a nice atmosphere.

Lovely service by Holly, and Shane excelled himself with the food. The portion sizes were huge! This is our local and we keep coming back because everything is always fabulous!

Nice well placed pub and restuarant

The food was good, hot and fresh. My server was izzy. She was amazing, great service and excellent with my children. I couldn't fault her one bit. Just by her service alone I will be back 100%

Came in around 12 today for some lunch was served by a lovely lady called Isabel. He greeted me with a smile on her face the food was lovely and the staff are very polite. Thank you to Isabel who assisted me while I was there.

Lovely half term catch up with my eldest and youngest, the food was fantastic and the staff full of personality. Special mentions for Chloe who was non stop on the floor and Alex the manageress. Strawberry yoghurt Ic was refreshing after a burger.

Went for my daughters 40th birthday, very disappointed, youngest granddaughter had child's chicken nuggets, mash and veg sticks, portion was so small we had to order her another portion, I had chicken sizzlers that had no sizzle and the smallest portion of chicken I have ever had, came with 3 wraps but just enough chicken to use 1 1/2 wraps, yoghurt sauce best thing on the plate, another granddaughter ordered full English that had to be sent back as the sausage was not cooked through, ordered chocolate fudge cake that even with ice-cream was so dry, enough to say won't be going back 😢 😞

Greasy floors and overpriced drinks

Recently visited in 30/01/2025 in evening we both had the chicken tikka massala of the £5 menu with drinks and orderd 2 additional crumbles off dessert menu at £ 5 + so over a tenner for 2 so after finishing the main waited table was cleared and we asked for desserts so waited 15 -20 mins were told sorry we have no crumbles we will have to refund you so refunded and just checked bank as had a notification and was refunded £8.59 which is over £2 less so becareful people next time i visit will be raising this issue

Spot on service food top quality faye our server was polite friendly and attentive easy access for my mobility scooter well lit and clean 1 downside desert was cold and sickly chocolate fudge and custard could have been warmer bar staff spot on and drinks done to specs and very enjoyable overall a very pleasant experience and value for money mix and match £9

My partner and I haven't been to The Cambridge in a while. Since our previous visit, the place has had a renovation and the food was lovely. The chefs on duty were Alex & Shane. Our waitress (Chloe) was welcoming and helpful. Couldng ask for better service. We will definitely be returning.

Had a great visit today at The Cambridge, our sever Holly was amazing and was very knowledgeable about the questions we had relating to an allergy one of our party had. Food came out quickly and correctly and was all hot when served. Great experience will be visiting again.

Booked a table for 12 for my birthday. Staff were great and super efficient. Food was tasty and plenty of it. Surprising value for money for the quality and quantity. Will be back next time over that way!

We had lasagne it was very oily. The prices are quite high considering the food is really the same standard as Wetherspoons. won’t be visiting again. Was only place to eat because Herbert’s Yard was closed.

Good value food, served quickly and restaurant is clean. Pints not as cheap as the bigger cheap competitor but food makes up for it. Interesting menu and lots of choice.

Food and service was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection. The food came really quickly and the bar staff and server Mags couldn't do enough to make sure our evening was a great one. Would definitely recommend coming here. My daughter is a fussy eater and loves there Mac and cheese and their enormous Sunday that was an amazing price for the size of it. Thanks to all the amazing staff for making our night great!

Atmosphere was alright for a Saturday night. Service was okay. Ordered a pint that had someone's hair in, Ordered a Chinese banquet found a razor sharp bone in one of the chicken nuggets and had a hot pepper in with the rice no indication of any heat in the meal at all.

Four of us went here for lunch and it was a 5***** experience.

Food is not consistent on 4 occasions there was no yogurt for breakfast and no banana the scrambled egg on toast was cold and no butter for the toast

You ordered on the app or at the bar and your food is brought to you. I can only say food was OK, service also OK. You collect you cutlery and condiments from a "station" and you need to make you choice carefully as a lot of the cutlery was not as clean as it should have Been.

Food was lovely and service from Charlie was excellent.

I treated my mom to Friday lunch. It was busy, but it was the last day of the school holidays. 40 min wait, but a beer in hand and someone to chat to and the time flew. We both had the Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas. The fish was amazing, so moist with a thin CRISPY batter. Good amount of chips and a good portion of mushy peas. 👍👍👍

We throughly enjoyed our breakfast as a family of 4, came Saturday 4th January, easy to find a free table, easy to order, the breakfast came out fast, it was hot and tasty, ordered steak and eggs for 2 people the chefs Chris and Wayne smashed it it was cooked to perfection, definitely value for money and family friendly, we received lovely service by holly and magdelena. Would definitely be coming for breakfast again!
