I paid a visit to cafe Concerto yesterday and I must say that although the prices of the food will make you do a double take, there is no denying that the cakes served are absolute perfection, a delicacy if you will. I ordered a strawberry gateaux, a single espresso and a slice of vegan pistachio cake for my party. The strawberry gateaux was second-to-none. The light notes of the cream paired with the airy yet thin sponge was complemented by the slight tang of the strawberries and mellow texture of strawberry jelly. It was a match made in cake heaven. I would say that the cake was quite sweet but the espresso did an excellent job cutting through that sweetness to make a perfect afternoon dessert. Having tried cafe Concerto’s ice cream as well as their blueberry tart, I must say that there is a treat for everyone at this establishment, not to mention the elegant and ambient atmosphere which only makes the customers eager for more. I will be returning to Birmingham and you can bet Cafe Concerto is on my list. - P.R

Brilliant service by Araz. Our drinks came swiftly and tasted great . Great spot to grab a coffee between shopping or waiting for the train. Also their cakes are delicious

Had afternoon tea here with my family to celebrate my nieces GCSEs. Service was excellent! I had a tea which wasn't what I expected and they changed it free of charge. In terms of value for money, the afternoon tea is generous and tasted fabulous. Our servers made us feel special too. Highly recommend!!!

This experience was really fun and really comforting and I was Being served by this beautiful woman called Beatrice. She is fun and lovely people that work there are nice and caring. And very tasty looking cakes.

Came here to get a full cake for a special ocassion. Price is comparatively high but the quality is also high. Nom nom nom. *** Can’t fault the cakes. They’re moist and fluffy. We ordered the Honey Cake, Carrot Cake, Ferrero Cake and a Pistachio Cake. Certainly a nice treat. Highly recommend the Honey Cake and the chocolatey Ferrero Cake in particular. I personally found the Carrot Cake to be a bit too too sweet.

Elisa was a first class host, explained the menu to us thoroughly and made us feel special throughout the afternoon tea experience. Excellent presentation, everything served to our table was fresh and flavourful. Couldn't have asked for more, and will definitely return in the future.

Needed a sandwich for lunch. I walked past and the food looked fantastic… It tastes every bit as good as it looks! Great service amid the bustle going past to and from the Bullring/station. Highly recommended!

We just went there to see what’s on the menu and decide. I was checking the display menu and my dad was checking the food available on the display. He was just curious because he is not from here. One of the ladies from the staff was clearly not happy with my dad and was staring at him, frowning for minutes. May be we were not dressed classy enough for the place. Even though I find it really disrespectful and left.

Visit this cafe regularly when in Birmingham Absolutely glorious cakes and pastries and delicious savoury rolls. Pleasant friendly service, quality coffee. A bit more expensive than other cafes in the area but worth it for the choice and quality

I’ve always loved Caffee Concerto but today is the first time I say in for a bite either than the usual take-away and it was brilliant. A gentleman named Padam served me and he gave me all the best options the establishment could offer me. I left with four slices of cake and a smile x
