I go to Coffee #1 in Bridgy fairly often, and have done for years. I don't know anywhere else in town where you can get a really good coffee. I'm surprised at the reviews, as Bridgwater isn't teeming with quality establishments. Take Coffee #1 away, and we're left with Costa a few doors down, which is the McDonald's of coffee. It's also a lovely building and environment, with a good selection of cakes etc and friendly staff.

I walked into the store late Sunday afternoon. The door was open, no signs that the coffe shop is closed. A barrista was serving another customer. Without any greeting or apology, he just blurped out: "We close. We closed, Mam. " I left the shop, while another customer was still beeing served. The store either should have cloze doors or serve all customers equally.

A hidden gem, set away from the busy shopping areas of Cheltenham, yet within easy reach. Cafe offers a good range of drinks and food for all times of the day, meeting many dietary needs. Seating available both inside and out. Coffee is absolutely delicious. Excellent service. Ideal place to sit and relax. Worth a visit.

Stopped in Wedmore for a little walk around - a very pretty village with some nice shops. Sat outside in garden at deli/cafe. Friendly servers although did wait a while to have our order taken. Given a full menu that said lunch served until 1400jrs and it was 1430hrs - a bit misleading and had to ask what was still being served. Decent sized pot of tea for the two of us. Opted for the cream tea - scones were warm which was a nice touch but very small leaving excess clotted cream and jam and if I’m honest I felt it was one of the priciest cream teas I’ve had.

Food and drink was absolutely fine. The toilet was a different matter. I've never seen such a disgusting toilet in a cafe. We could smell it before we opened the door and once we caught a glimpse we promptly decided we wouldn't be stepping foot in there. Absolutely disgusting. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the place.

This coffee shop looks quite inviting and is pleasant inside, but that's about the end of the positives I was on my own with time to spare before catching a train. Female member of staff at till served me - one latte and a slice of tiffin. She did put these on a tray but despite no one else waiting and the fact she could see I was already balancing two heavy bags, didn't offer to carry it over to a table ... Managed to get to a table with a balancing act of bags and tray ... tiffin was 'ok' at best (£2.70 for quite a tiny slice) but either they have a problem with their display cabinet of they just keep everything over night in a very cold fridge as it was so cold it was rock hard Coffee was supposed to be a latte - clearly no barista training as it was a coffee with some foam on the top badly presented - and far too hot A shame as one of the nicer looking places in Paignton for coffee Focus needed on improving barista training, food storage and customer service

Came with my three year old to visit the play cafe and have some lunch after seeing Cheltenham rocks Instagram post. Arrived to a near empty sandwich fridge and no children's food whatsoever. When I enquired if they had a menu I just got a no just what's out. The space is fantastic and definitely what Cheltenham needs to visit with little ones during the week but no hot food and no children's options was really disappointing.

The second time I’ve had issues here with being charged too much. The first time there was an offer on a baked good and I had to remind the barista that they had put it through at full price. The second time I assumed it had gone through a half price but when I checked after they had once again charged me full price for a half price baked good. I don’t know if there is an issue with communication to staff about promotions or if they were just not thinking as they were serving but it has definitely changed my opinion of the cafe.

We arrived here around 5:30 after a busy day at Moors Valley. We were just in time to order hot food before they closed. The lady serving was nice. Value for money was fantastic, with a kids meal and drink free per adults meal. The meals came quickly and were hot and tasty, especially for the price. The tables were clean and place was bright. There are also lots of books, colouring and activities to keep kids entertained - although we didn't even get through one Mr Men book before the food arrived it was so speedy! We'd definitely visit again. It wasn't glamorous and of course can't compare to fancier places but it filled hungry tummies and saved pennies too. Can't complain!

Have never been so insulted falsely accused of stealing despite paying for items and having receipt. Was banned and threatened by management despite spending 100s of pounds at this centre on food and jellycat collectibles. Lee as I was informed the guy who confront me was called said basically he could decide who he can ban. I questioned why and he rudely told us to leave. As me and my partner are both disabled we thought of taking this further. As for the restaurant prices have increased and portions are much smaller. If you want to be monitored on cctv and made to feel like a criminal this garden centre is the place to be.

Friendly staff, good coffee and atmosphere, food is nice too. Robbie always greets me with a smile and is always happy to answer any questions such as dietary information and making my coffee exactly as I like it. My go to place to get coffee between lectures or at the weekend, opening times are good too along with the reward app which gives you stamps for free coffee.

The waiter is super friendly and very professional . I have tried to eat here twice throughout my stay but there is never a chef on duty . I think it’s sad you no longer have any entertainment on Sundays . It’s been a let down this bank holiday . I have given four stars because I know the food is fab as I came here at Easter and throughly enjoyed the cake and coffee and fish and chips with mushy peas .
