Subway in Torbay

The woman that just served me was so miserable, rolling her eyes at my kids trying to decide what to eat even though there was no one behind us! The youngest decided quite quickly that he wanted a bmt, then she said he couldn't have that with a kids pack and she huffed when he then couldn't decide something else immediately - I wouldn't even decide that quickly! She got 3 out of 4 sandwiches wrong (toasted a sandwich that wasn't meant to be, did a 12 inch that was meant to be 6 inch and my older sons 6 inch was the same size as the youngest's 4 inch). She needs to learn how to bloody smile and have some manners!

The driver refused to leave his car and deliver the order to my door. I will not accept an order from that driver again. His English isn't sufficient.

Ordered twice now and missing items both time. This time no drinks and missing the crisps not happy and will not use again

Food arrived soggy, cold and inedible. The margarita slice didn’t come with margarita sauce 😭. How can you mess up something so simple. Outrageous.

One incorrect item and food was cold. Also the sauce wasn’t particularly flavourful

Out of the 3 Subs ordered 1 was missing cheese and ketchup so only had bacon and sausage nothing else

This subway does have cross contamination with the ingredients. Like onions and olives in the tomato's and onion and cheese in the lettuce. Also you will need to be specific on which hot drink you order. They will give you the wrong hot drink. other than that the food is good and priced well .

Ordered a footlong only got a 6 inch sub

The bread is not what it used to be. It has been dry every time I've visited or ordered in the last year. Subway bread used to be soft and delicious. I pick a lot of it off the sandwich and throw it away rather than eat it. The cookies aren't good anymore, either. Even the sandwich fillings seem to have less flavour.

Not been to subway for about 20 years, went while I was on holiday and really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly especially the lady from the USA. Didn’t wait long to be served.

Do NOT order a delivery from here, £20 wasted on an order that never arrived. Staff palmed us off claiming they cannot do anything as JustEat were responsible; we're never going to use them either.

when the two subs that I ordered came there was random bits of red pepper in the bag and on the side of one of the subs and neither of the subs had peppers on. it was cold and soggy. it took over an hour for the delivery to come. and it was overall disappointing.

I ordered a chicken tikka sub with peppers and I got 1 singular slice of a pepper which I wasn’t happy about. Also, after I finished the sandwich it tasted like the smell of BO and it wasn’t pleasant. Also ordered waffle fries they came soggy and cold and tastes like they wasn’t cooked properly so I spat them out , this is the first time I’ve had a bad experience with subway and I’m disappointed.

Absolutely terrible experience twice now. Low on portions, cold food, tried to order for delivery through Deliveroo and after 2 HOURS of being told delivery drivers were being assigned (not subways fault I know), I tried calling the restaurant a dozen times and didn’t pick up any time. This is an absolute no-no. In top of that the food was dead cold and missing items. Would really appreciate some more effort

Food was alright but not enough toppings, guy putting on my salad seemed more interested in someone else trying to get into the locked toilets rather than serving me. For some apparent reason because i ordered food i had to take out and couldn’t eat in. Staff seemed as if they didn’t really care about the customers and more about what else is going on. When told we had to take out and couldn’t sit inside looked around at other people sitting down thinking why not so I had asked and she couldn’t give me a straight answer, almost seemed as though she didn’t want me in there.

You should hire more staff. Toilets closed due to it being so dirty that it needed to be locked off and not enough time to clean - not appropriate for those with urgency. Probably not the staff's fault if they've been that busy. Barely filled sandwich, asked for more filling - very grateful that the staff member was compliant though. Have previously had good interactions here, but morale seemed low today... Such a shame. Had to take my food home rather than dine in, or I'd have peed on the floor.

It was ordered as a gift. As there was no name on it the delivery person couldn’t even say who it was for so they turned it away. Why wasn’t there a name on the order?

Ordered a rotisserie chicken sub….. they sent it without the chicken, the main protein in this sub was the chicken! It defeats the point of the whole choice not happy I wasn’t contacted before hand, they did our an extra cookie which was nice but not happy the sub wasn’t correct

Couldn’t fault the delivery. Driver was lovely but food was awful. Chucked together. Rushed. 2 subs not even toasted. Since when do you need a knife and fork to eat a sub. Food was cold. Subs weren’t cut. Won’t be ordering again. Few pence short of £60 and really disappointed! Missing crisps on 2 subs.

Seemed quite busy, very clean, with plenty of seating. Food was good, and probably has the most selection for gluten free.

I like the idea of subway, but seems it lacks in what they actually put in your sandwich now day which makes sense with food costs. Still a nice sandwich

I'm giving 2 star to be polite but the order was not great at all. Very disappointed with the quality, no sauces provided even though requested very bland food. Would only purchase in shop & not online again.

the pepperoni wrap was crunchy and over cooked & didn't have bbq sauce as requested. the customer service was awful. I waited in queue to collect my order, the girl behind the counter just skipped me& served the person waiting behind me. I asked someone else for my order who asked for my order number, when I showed him it he said I need the number not your name & I said I just showed it to you, he then gave me my order but wasn't very helpful. if that's how they treat customers I won't be back!

Driver couldn't find my address so the convenience of food delivery failed as i had to walk to find the driver 5-10 minutes away from my house

Came here with four of my family members today and was disappointed to say the least. The food had hair in, the staff were rude, they also didn’t wear hats or hair nets, which considering they had long hair, including the male, their hair could and clearly did go everywhere. Staff were falling all over each other instead of passing things down the line and talking to each other. A couple of them also touched their faces and then touched our food, without washing their hands. Other food items were found within our food and this could have been potentially dangerous if there was an allergy in the family. Staff didn’t listen to the orders properly and the orders had to be repeated again and again, staff were slow and you saw people leaving disappointed. This is definitely proof that this place has gone downhill.

Food was delivered on time, warm not hot, but ordered a meal deal which was meant to include a drink but received no drink.

Unsure why there’s not option to toast the wraps anymore, very disappointing having a cold ham and cheese wrap. Also, the footlong cheese dipper, was far from a footlong? Please add back the option to toast the wraps.

Food that arrived was very good and on time, but item missing from my Order,

Ordered via Just Eat but they forgot to put some of the order in bag. When I complained and spoke to manager said I had to go through Just Eat even though their mistake. Absolute joke and very rude even though their error, is it that difficult. Avoid if ordering takeaway you won't get half of your order and still be hungry.

The only place I can get gluten free takeaway food. Very busy.
