Stayed Tuesday night (booked the right one this time! Lol). The city was very noisy - sirens 🚨 all night. The 'pod' bathroom units were OK, but you can hear everyone else's 'business' going down the pipes!. Staff friendly again. Skipped breakfast, so can't comment on that. Very windy outside amongst the high buildings. This review never posted, but was from months back: "Turned out my booking this time wasn't for this version of the hotel chain, bit for the other one to the west. But the counter staff were friendly and helpful."

Great location for the station but the twin beds were very small (2'6" instead of the usual 3') and were on the wonk so not very comfortable. The window blinds didn't close properly and the whole room was a bit worn out. Saying all that, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good for one night to get to the airport for an early flight but I wouldn't stay longer than one night.

Here with friends and found the hotel very good. Only gripe is having no control over the heating which is permanently set at 20 degrees.

Enjoyed our stay,big and spacious rooms, good wi-fi, spotless clean,in a great location, beside train station, and bus to airport, very friendly staff.and a few restaurants beside you as well.

Unfortunately that was the worst hotel experience I ever had. The room was very hot, noise from the street didn't allowed us to sleep through the whole night. After complaining in reception we get a new room from other side but it didn't really helped.

Really lovely staff, my grandparents stayed there recently, they needed places to put their suitcases at a easier to work with height and their original room didn't have that. Staff were happy to help find a more accommodating room which relieved alot of stress. Breakfast was lovely when we joined them for it. Staff were also very helpful with helping us find reasonably priced parking and any other queries we had. Very appreciative of the care they showed my grandparents during their stay. Also the rooms had adjustable air-conditioning, clean bathroom, bug bed. No complaints. Would recommend

Booked a twin room. The two beds were touching and the design of the room meant you couldn't really move them apart without making the room untraversable.

I absolutely love when hotels don’t let you control the temperature in your own room that you’ve paid for! Perfect! It’s even better that you can’t open your window wider than 10cm! If I didn’t already love overheating throughout my stay, my favourite way to be woken up (repeatedly) is with the sound of construction work, especially when it’s really really loud and right outside my window, so it wouldn’t matter if I had my window open or closed. 10/10 again!!!!!! If this hadn’t already been the best stay ever with the boiling rooms that you can’t control and the loud noises, the breakfast was fantastic. I always love when you can’t cut into things because they’ve been all dried up from being sat out for too long. yum. Would absolutely avoid, we checked out early as couldn’t stand being there. It’s a shame as the reception staff are really very nice

Just got back from staying at your hotel , all was good , room very clean , had a great sleep , my only negative comment was the service from a french lady at breakfast Saturday morning , there was 6 of us , night before they allowed us to pulled the tables together, so I went to do this at breakfast, she started shouting at me ,I stop doing it , we exchange words regarding this . But then she started moaning to her colleague about me and I could hear her , so I went up to here apologise for moving the tables but told her don't start moaning about me and I can hear , again she raised her voice to me , I didn't deserve to be spoken to like that , if your going to moan about me , do it so I don't hear , not impressed with her customer service

Overall good service. Breakfast is ok and room was spacious. Shower could habe a little more airpressure. A bit of a chemical smell on the bed covers / pillows. Located near the main train station, which is good.

Hotel quite well located, 5 minutes walk from the train station and 15-20 minutes from the city center. Very spacious room for 3 people with storage, TV and regular cleaning. The beds are comfortable and the possibility of opening the windows even slightly is a real plus (and closed, they insulate the noise quite well, knowing that there was work going on during the day, and the cries of the seagulls all the time) . The staff is friendly and ready to help. The breakfasts are however a little expensive (so we didn't have any) but otherwise very good value for money!

First room was dire but after moving to the 6th Floor, room was amazing, good bed, nicely decorated, air con... Breakfast was amazing, good fry up and selection of fruit, pastries...

Excellent location from the train station, bus stop for the airport flyer, water ferry pick-up and drop-off point. It's all within a 5 minute walk. Very close to a Sainsburys, Wetherspoons, Starbucks and Greggs. Concierge staff are friendly, fun and helpful There is also a free map of Bristol available.

Great money value deal the only two things are the windows open only 10cm + there is a summing sound on the back of the hotel

Ibis Temple Meads Hotel is brilliantly located, and the staff team are a delight. Love the new rooms too. I've stayed here for 2 or 3 nights a week for about two months and always enjoyed the experience.

Terrible! What kind of a hotel has only a single outlet throughout the entire room!? No slippers either!? Also bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, good luck with theirs...not to mention the shower constantly switching from hot to cold, cold to hot...no face towel either, only bath towels...good luck to this hotel and travelers visiting it...

Nice ambience and good breakfast option

Perfect location for our motion event. No complaints about the room as it was spotless. Nice to see the bathroom was full of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Really friendly staff at the desk.

All of the Ibis chain Hotels appear to have the same Menu, with slight exceptions, once you have eaten in one the choice becomes somewhat tediously boring.

Having read the previous reviews we weren't expecting gourmet dining. We had a rather expensive burger which wasn't prime meat, but was perfectly edible. The chips were nice. The air-con was in full flow which made it rather chilly.The best thing was the service.

not for me, i dont like leaving bad reviews but honestly did not have a good time here, staff were friendly but apart from that very average

Nos registramos en el hotel un poco tarde, así que tuvimos que comer en el bar de un menú limitado pero todas las cosas consideradas la pizza que teníamos era delicioso y que podía haber pedido otro aún a la medianoche los graves!No desayunamos en el hotel pero me alojaría aquí de nuevo ya que la amabilidad de todo el personal con el que nos encontramos en esta breve parada.Me he alojado en muchos hoteles de grandes cadenas a través de los años, pero me pareció que este era un poco más acogedores ...

Nos vino a visitar a amigos y familiares desde Australia y tenía una parada en Bristol. Decidimos quedarnos en Ibistemple Meads- parecía tener todo lo que necesitábamos.La habitación era estupenda, muy limpia y bastante perfecto espaciosas y modernas. El restaurante por otra parte ...Fuimos para una cena abajo después de leer el menú en la habitación. El menú parecía prometedor, buena selección de entrantes y especiales. Sólo problema era que el menú no State: nada sale fresca. Pedimos dos entrantes y dos platos principales para salir todos juntos, además de bebidas.No más de 5-10 minutos más tarde todos servían las comidas! Y eso era sólo el comienzo de nuestra decepción. El ajo bead era una masa de cocer, un poco a la parrilla en la parte de arriba pero cruda por dentro, las alas de pollo se cocinó mucho tiempo antes que pedimos, difícil y el bateador pálido. Las "mejores" de todo era queso Macaroni sabe como un plástico derretido. Nada de nuestros platos ya se habían preparado cuando pedimos. Ambas comidas de pasta que han salido de/ paquete pre-cocinados preparadas.Nos obstinado en un poco ya que nos quedamos con hambre después de estar todo el día de viaje pero no pudimos comer. sin sabor, fuera de las comidas del paquete.El personal fue muy amable y nos llevamos una oportunidad de pedir uno de ellos 'lo que es en realidad fresco?" la respuesta vino sin dudar: "para ser honesto- sólo ensalada" así que continuó y preguntamos por el vestidor y sí, vestidor también proviene de la bañera. Nos ofrecieron una bebida para hacer nuestra decepción y que era bonito. Sólo desearía que los propietarios sería tan amable y empezó a hacer comida actual en su cocina.En general, la gerencia no importa cenas simple, es todo cuestión de hacer beneficios sirve pre-comidas comidas descongelados. No se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que está esperando simple, comida recién hecha.

Me alegro opté en comprar el desayuno caliente de buffet esta mañana. Estaba delicioso. Genial para elegir - desayuno caliente inglés con bacon y salchichas - no tienen ya que soy vegetariano - disfrutamos de los cereales, ciruelas, albaricoques, girasol Semillas y muesli. Seguido por No grasa y yogur despartábamos con un trago. Un montón de tostadas, cruasanes y otros artículos de panadería con variedad de mermeladas y miel - que también lograron resistir como yo estaba lleno! Vale la pena £8.50 . Hora de salida no exigido hasta el mediodía, así que está de vuelta a la conexión wi-fi y tv por un par de horas antes de que el tren sale de la estación Temple Meads histórica en las inmediaciones, también vale la pena visitar! Disfrute de su estancia en Bristol.

Añadimos el desayuno en el precio de la habitación en el registro, a un costo de £8.50 . Como era de esperar, era un buffet, pero la calidad de la comida era buena y había más que suficiente para servir los huéspedes cuando comemos. Hay otros sitios para comer el desayuno a una corta distancia a pie, y si volviera a visitar otra vez probablemente buscar uno a conseguir una comida recién cocinada

También será un corto y dulce revisión la comida no era una buena oferta básica de aromatizantes, pero sobre todo el precio de dos comidas en mi opinión era demasiado caro es un hotel Ibis vienen en chicos mirar en sus precios ...

The cafe serves the usual breakfast for the Ibis chain. However I find the snack menu to be very limited and if I am correct having stayed there over Xmas, it was toasted sandwiches with crisps or pizza. Fine I suppose if thats all you like.The menu did have a little more on it but when we asked, all they had was the above.

recommended good service, good layout to the restaurant, with all food hot and appetising. Food suitable for 2 young children aged 18months and 3 years of age

Buffet style english breakfast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, etc with good coffee and juice - everything was tasty and seemed fresh. Didn't feel rushed and could sit and read the paper.

Having read the only other review, I was diffident about eating here. Heavy rain kept us in the hotel, then the (fine) smell of a pizza taken from a guy suddenly made my decision clear.As we are from italy, we're used to high-quality food, and we found ourselves very satisfied by quality, taste, cleanliness and (excellent) service.Definitely good, and not too expensive being an hotel restaurant. The only drawback is that, as it's an hotel, the number of choices is a bit limited.

£13.95 for a dry piece of meat, dry chips, lettuce leaves, 2 cucumber slices and a flavourless salad sauce- I could have had a better flavoured meal at Mc Donalds for a fiver. I cant believe it. I wish I checked the reviews before ordering my meal. Its so ironic because the restaurant setting/ambience is very inviting. I will never eat at an ibis again. I feel like going for a proper meal now.I feel so disappointed having travelled 180 miles to Bristol.The general hotel looks nice but the food - a definite NO.
