a strange starbucks this one. The same great coffee but staff at divergent ends of the customer service spectrum. Some are awesome and try really hard, others are just plain trying and seem to make the others work twice as hard. I'd rate it zero stars on some days and five stars on others. A perfect example of inconsistency and inefficiency to mull over whilst they try to sort out all your coffee order. Proof that it is people who make the experience. Watch out for added charges! This store likes adding the disposable cup tariff to drink in mugs and apologises every time you notice, as though it is the first time. A shame it has been every time without fail.

Why do you feel the need to try to upsell the entire content of your stock! No I don’t want it Large I don’t want to add an extra shot, I don’t want a pumpkin biscuit, nope don’t want a cake pop the list goes on but if you let me talk and order what I wanted I think we would all be happier!!! STOP with the big upsell let your customers talk!

Partial order was asked to contact the store. Should the drivers be checking their orders before leaving the store ?? Not offering delivery and just a refund is pretty poor

Really didn't like those cold 'oats' with the apricots. I didn't realise it would be cold. It tasted like some sort of bad yoghurt with bits in. Everything else was great though

Avoid Starbucks if You want matcha latte! I went this place in Swindon via Drive through on 23rd of August 2024 at 17:58 (I checked with bank) and asked for matcha latte 🍵 with almond milk. But I received coconut milk - which I was proposed to change but I was in hurry - didn’t have time for this. In half an hour when the cup became not so hot to keep and I tried my drink finally - I understood that coconut milk is SPOILED and my matcha is bitter and smells awful….like old oil. I was already far from Swindon going to Gloucester and called them after all several times - nobody pick up. I do not know if I ever will go to Starbucks again after this or ever recommend Starbucks matcha to anybody.

There was a broken entrance door that was causing a major health and safety issue which staff didn't acknowledge whilst there or lock and put up a sign to advise of the broken door. Service is often very cold (unfriendly/unwelcoming) and rushed. Very annoying that it is card payments only aswell 🙄.

Very sad that one of my croissants is stale. It tastes like it’s been in the cake cabinet for a while 😭

Mason always gets my drinks right. I adore this Starbucks in Swindon. Even If I am on the other side of town, I make an effort to drive to this location. They have a lot of wonderful individuals working at this location. My drink can be complicated, and at other locations, the staff struggles to listen and get my order right. The staff at this location  is exceptional, very friendly, always listens, and tries to make sure I'm satisfied with my order. All of them understand what I want and deliver. They are all fantastic, but Mason stands out from the crowd. He smiles and listens to what I want. Mason always appears to be in a happy mood and this comes across and cheers me up. Mason provides and delivers exceptional customer service skills, even staying and waiting until I drink a zip to ensure I receive exactly what I ordered. We need more Baristas who take pride in their work like Mason and the team at this location. It's all about enjoying coffee and living the lifestyle that Starbucks promotes, and this location consistently delivers. Keep up the good work. You and your team embody the pinnacle of customer service. Thank you for your hard work.

I use the drive through on a regular basis and have been served by Karen each time. Karen is always patient, helpful and knowledgeable about the diferent coffee sold. Each visit is met with a smile, such an asset to your organisation. Also the coffee is amazing

Dreadfully rude staff, I was made a latte after ordering a cappuccino so I said it should be a latte and he said does it matter!

Regularly get served by Karen, and it’s always a pleasure to see her. She gets our order right every time, serves us with personality and greets each customer with genuine enthusiasm.

My daily stop before work and I always receive great service! There's a really lovely member of staff named Karen and she always takes a minute to ask how I am. She's warm hearted and very funny! Thank you for always making me the best White Mocha - No Cream - Extra White Mocha Sauce! Lots of love to this Starbucks and the wonderful team who make it so <3

Waiting way over time for this. And got completely wrong order. My drink was only half full and the other drink was completely wrong!

The non-speaking English driver managed to spill my drink and it was all his bag. He managed to eventually try and say another one would be delivered but it wasn't. This isn't the restaurants fault I know but for the amount of money being charged it was an extremely disappointing service. He even had a tip which Just Eat wont refund!!

Good little place for a pit stop and family oriented, pleasant staff. The sandwiches at the entrance are “for show” only, you need to read the sandwich label and then request the staff member who’ll then take out a fresh one from refrigerator behind them to prepare for you. Good enough parking spaces but aren’t that much, but choose drive through if you’re just picking up coffee and planning to not sitting in. Recommended.

A lovely spot whether you're going through the Drive Thru or sitting in for a while. I often go in and study for a long time. It is cosy, comfortable, and the atmosphere is good. The staff are friendly, polite and always happy to offer advice and suggestions (that I always enjoy). They are on the ball too, even when it's really busy. Food is of good quality for a café chain so can't complain there.

My drinks came half empty without a straw. I blame the store

The Starbucks store at Swindon West Barnfield close is my go to Starbucks almost on a daily Basis .For a nice quiet relaxing cup of Coffee to refresh my Mind or Start my Day or anytime mid Day The staff at This Starbucks store is so very enthusiastic and helpful . They also offer great parking facility and drive thru facility . Me and my Husband are fans of Their service so Very consistent and quick . I would like to mention a few staff names who I come across at the store regularly on my visits Right from Manger to supervisors to the in store Baristas they are all so lovely . Klein , Imu, Velroy , Daisy . I would like to give a special mention to thier staff member Minoshka she is so very energetic and has a beautiful Smile on her face all the time , most of the time she is multitasking. I recommend this store for a nice relaxing cup of coffee to all my mates who visit Swindon .

I recently visited Starbucks and was impressed by the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The baristas were attentive and made my favorite caramel macchiato perfectly. I also enjoyed a delicious muffin with my coffee. It's a great spot to unwind or meet up with friends. I highly recommend trying their drinks and pastries.

I love to head here for a coffee before work. The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is great whether I'm just drinking or working on projects before work. Can't recommend enough.

This is my local, across from my place of work. Great service, always polite and staff or on point with their coffee making. Very much recommend.

Parking restriction is unfair, however the atmosphere and staff friendliness is terrible Starbucks sadly is not my cupper, doesn’t feel welcoming or friendly enough I wanna understand why the parking restrictions from euro carparks regulator is the worst rip off company ever Is a way of getting rid of their customers a cup of coffee could cost you 100£

Very slow, but staff have to deal with the busy drive through - so understandable. Coffee is rushed and bad as a result. Not great.

BEAWARE!!!! They never put the extrashot that I ask and pay for it, £5 for a cappuccino that taste like boiled milk is a joke!!!!! Next time I will return and will make them do it again…

Dropped by for a quick coffee and lunch. The young man Mason was very helpful, and Starbucks should be grateful to have a member of staff like him. It was a drive thru, so I sat in the car. There was plenty of space in the car park, but there is also space inside and outside the establishment.

Quick Service by efficient team every time I'm in. A lot of good cake and sandwich options. The drinks are delicious as well.

Staff at Barnfield starbucks are amazing. So helpful and give great recommendations if you're not sure what you are after.

Ordered luxury toast. It arrived with no butter or Jam

As a regular SB visitor I found this shop rather disappointing. Arrived around 3.40, limited choice of cakes ! Long wait for coffee, not enough staff and focus on drive through rather than in shop customers. Cappuccino, poorly made, more like a white coffee and so many tables cluttered with rubbish and not cleaned. Disappointing all round.

Never go here you get fined for parking in the car park even when i enetred my reg onto their system! Plus tables are never clean.

Couldn't find a single thing in store about it being card only. If you're going to somehow make your store exclusively cash-free, at least have signs stating that somewhere in store, even just one! Such a silly thing to do, how stupid.

Had a large hazelnut cappucino with almond croissant and my gf had a tea. Both delicios and service was fast and friendly.

I ordered a caramel frappucino with extra drizzle and payed extra 80p for nothing. They never put extra caramel drizzle.

Missing ingredients in coffee , not what was ordered.

Web site states opens at 7am but again nit open at this time so waiting g out in the cold for 15 minutes. Either change your website details or open up on time. Not a great start.

The store is absolutely freezing, I have a fleece on and I’m shivering. It’s 2 degrees outside, put the bloody heating on! Next time I’ll be walking off without buying anything if it’s this cold.

Drive through seems more popular than inside. Probably quicker to order inside than wait in the drive through. Free parking for over two hours if you register your number plate.

Seemed like a bit of a dive. Toilets were a mess, place was dirty and it was cold! Coffee was decent tho

Waited nearly an hour since ordering when it’s around the corner and my food was stone cold.

Really bad..... called Starbucks to ask where my order was and was told at 5.45 that my drink had left them at 5.10..... the guy on the phone from the store did not apologise or take ownership. No surprise the drink was cold when it got here. Really disappointed.

Didn't like the Mocha with blonde roast. I got the wrong order again but correct label I think. I thought the ghost frappuccino was supposed to be grey as advertised but I got the orange one. Disappointed as flavours were sickly too.

I ordered an oat meal plus a chocolate pastry. The latter was no problem but the oat meal, which was in a container suggesting this was a hot meal, was, in fact, cold. The reason I ordered it in the first place was because my microwave had packed up as I was making breakfast so I had no means of heating it.

Tends to be hit or miss at this Starbucks. Not quite got the stock levels right. Has improved recently though. Hopefully it continues. Would someone please sort that banging door though??!!

Coffee was better than average for similar chain coffee shops. Food (pastries for us) were ok. The single Unisex toilet seat was broken. This may or may not be related to the larger gent that quickly parked/abandoned across a couple of spaces, speed walked straight to the loo, emerged 5 minutes later and walked straight back out.

Walked in, was ignored for 10 minutes. Finally took my order, then had to re ask 3 times and still got it wrong. Prioritise the customer stood infront of you, not the driv thru .

Ordered the breakfast bap and got a burnt, flattened bun with a single small slice of fatty bacon and no scrambled egg. Iced latte was extremely strong and did not taste like it had a vanilla syrup.

Drive through is a nightmare most of the time. In store service is generally slow.

Ordered two coffee and hot chocolate, nearly £19, never turn up no tracker working so we couldn’t track the driver come up on the app as delivered? Went to everybody in our little Av nobody has got the order only assume just eats driver and enjoying my coffee and hot chocolate going to report to the police for stealing my order. Absolute horrendous cannot get hold of just eat to talk to them. I hope you’re enjoying my coffee and hot chocolate that you have stolen

Food and drink were as expected from Starbucks. The customer in front of us had 1 drink, we had 2 drinks, and it took 15 mins. Staff were clearly prioritising the drive thru, would had been quicker to drive thru and then come and sit inside. Although the cleanliness also wasn’t great. Staff not interested in cleaning tables once people had left.

I got the wrong order. I don't know if they will give me refund? It doesn't let you add a photo to prove you got the wrong order. The sticker was right but the drink was different! It looked completely different. I ordered the pumkin cold brew but got an orange looking frappuccino

Refused to take my cash when ordering drinks. This is ridiculous. Cash is legal tender. I have paid with pounds in other locations and their prices seem to be higher than normal

Normally mega impressed with Monica's. BUt the fish batter was super chewy and the chips all seemed like they'd been picked from scraps around the edge of the fryer. The delivery though was worse. Well over an hour late. Can't be perfect all the time, but I was really looking forward to it. So it arriving very late and below the usual high standard warranted a review.

It's similar to most Starbucks, staff are polite. Be careful of parking, you get 2 hours, this isn't obvious, and the fine is £120 (this isn't Starbucks' fault). My only comment is that you tend to get ignored for the drive-through customers.

Came to get a drink, tables was disgusting and at least 5 tables near me that haven’t even been wiped and it was empty with 4 staff behind the counter and all just taking, also reduced to accept cash for 1 drink which just seems insane how a business refuses payment, really disappointing and from now on will stick with costa
