Excellent, really good food, perfect service and good value.

We had lunch from the Prix Fixe menu, which was very good value and included a free G&T. The restaurant was busy, with a great atmosphere. Despite being nearly full, the service was both friendly and attentive. The food was excellent.

We had the lunch prixe fix and the food was excellent. Good service and comfortable seating with pleasant surroundings. A little quiet but it was a Tuesday in February. We will be back soon !

We booked for Sunday lunch for a large family gathering (11 of us). All of us enjoyed our meals. 3 of the party are vegetarian and there was a great choice of veggie options and the vegetarian roast was delicious. The deserts were also very tasty (the Pistachio souffle I had was to die for!). The service was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend Brasserie Blanc and would choose it again for a family celebration.

Serious misrepresentation of pork ribeye. We were served fatty ham instead. We questioned it with the waiter to be told it was how they cook the pork, like I’m stupid, I’ve cooked pork, ham and gammon many many times and this was ham, and not a very good cut at that. We suspect it was because we were on a pre-paid virgin experience voucher and didn’t want to upgrade to the a la Carte menu, plus it was Valentines night so we were probably a bit of a nuisance for them. Otherwise the food was ok. Starter was nice, desert was good, and the service was attentive. Real shame, we had such high expectations, but we won’t be visiting Brasserie Blanc again

One of the best experience of eating I’ve ever had. I had a main and a desert. My main, the artichoke and chestnut mushroom pithivier was stunning. The pastry was rich and buttery with a deep, flavoursome and almost meat-like filling in the rich savouriness of it all. The red wine and port sauce was deep and unctuous, bringing depth and umami to every mouthful. Pickled girolles, braised baby onions, and grilled leeks added char, acidity and texture that perfectly balanced the dish. It was hearty, homely food, refined perfectly and something I know, with regret, I could never cook at home. It was food that made me incredibly happy, and I found myself savouring every bite. My partner had the wild mushroom and bulgar wheat salad. The bulgar was tender, salty and had a wonderful almost bouncy texture to it, and had the wonderful flavours of roasted butternut squash, beetroot, tarragon oil and pomegranate molasses that added richness and sweetness. I could have demolished that too. Our deserts were dark chocolate delice - smooth as satin, rich and fruity, with sweet salted caramel crémeux, lime caramel, and salted caramel ice cream that helped offset the richness. My partner had the pistachio soufflé which was the perfect consistency and with a bit of almond kick. I wasn’t as keen but it was her desert and she loved it. The non alcoholic drinks were excellent and the service was flawless. A beautiful setting to eat and an incredibly efficient team who were funny, attentive and checked in to make sure we were happy, despite a very busy service. This is one of those rare food experiences where I can’t fault a thing. I only regret not ordering a starter too as they all look excellent. Like a hungry terminator, I’ll be back.

Great Sunday Roast! High quality ingredients and service! We loved! But the best part was the Kids Table where our 4 year old spent most of her time doing crafts while we ate! But the best part was the person taking care of the kids, she was attentive and loving! It was a win/win perfect experience! Please keep this concept alive we will go back!

Been a few times look out for the offers and get there for a drink during happy hour. Great food and a lovely space to be.

Always an enjoyable meal, with some unique dishes on the menu alongside the classics! The staff are very friendly and helpful. It can get quite busy, so service can sometimes be a bit slow. Personally, I don't mind that too much and staff are very apologetic if you do seem to have been waiting.

A great place for lunch at the weekend. We were well looked after by Archie, behind the bar, and the palce was warm with a dog friendly section in the bar area. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared, many thanks.

Uncomfortably cold visit. The heating in the coldest day of the year was broken. We never have been so cold and uncomfortable. No worming to the customers on online booking that heating is out of order. Also very poor choice of gluten free selection. Very disappointed visit, which meant to be a birthday surprise.

Christmas lunch so very busy, staff were friendly and attentive to dietary restrictions. Service was slow, taking around 2hrs for our lunch courses however some of that is just how busy it was. The bean soup starter and crumble dessert were both good however the main turkey Christmas lunch was not good and could be improved in all areas. Unfortunately no 0% cider on offer. I chose the berry burst mocktail instead which was nice but every sip was accompanied with berry seeds. I would expect more for the prices that I saw.

Really busy and as a whole good, but, I feel, a little expensive for what you get. I think it's more about location than anything else. Worth a try though.

First time visiting this place but went with friends who have been several times and I can see why! Excellent food, fabulous atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff made this a perfect evening!

This was my first visit. We had a delicious lunch and chose from the pre fixe menu. Very good choices available for starters, mains & desserts. There was also an offer of a glass of wine included plus a non alcoholic mocktail option. The mocktail was delicious. The waiters gave us excellent service. We enjoyed it so much I’ve booked to visit again.

Had a wonderful time on the 21st November lunch service, great food, great service, great ambience. Thank you all especially Carl who was extremely attentive 🤗

I visited this place on Saturday night during the racing event with some friends. The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive, especially considering how busy it was. Our waiter, Joe, took great care of us. While the atmosphere could have been better, I understand there wasn’t much the staff could do given how crowded it was. However, I don’t think it’s acceptable for the managers to stand at the front desk drinking wine all night. One manager, in particular, with blue hair, appeared to be extremely drunk and was running around dancing in the bar. This behavior came across as highly unprofessional and set a poor example for the rest of the staff.

An unplanned visit for a Friday dinner, which was just a great all round evening. Only slight tiny let-down was a couple of dishes unavailable as they had sold out. Still gets a five for food as the replacements offered were excellent. Two of our group have food intolerances, and Kyle who served us went out of his way to make sure we had the right dishes. Highly recommended.

Early evening meal was lovely , Autumn menu lots of choice and delicious.

Same review as last time! This place is good on atmosphere, very good on service, but the food is just not up to it! Those in our group who had steaks were happy enough. One had the venison - this is a very small portion (of everything) - apparently it was 'ok'. The worst dish had to be the confit duck leg. This wasn't confit duck as we know it, which should be moist and delicious, and fall off the bone. It seemed the duck had just been put in the oven to cook for a bit and then served up. You had to work hard to get any little meat there was off the bone, besides which it had no flavour. A real disappointment! It always surprises us how popular this place is, but having been there a few times now, it's clear that the majority are more interested in the atmosphere than the quality of the food.

Enjoyed a really lovely lunch last Sunday, we picked Blanc because we know the service always tends to be good and the food too. We were lucky to have a really helpful waitress last Sunday. Prompt and excellent service. We were a table of 8 including kids, elsewhere you might find that your order is slow to come out as a larger table but drinks, starters and mains were all brought to the table in great time. The atmosphere was good with a busy Sunday crowd but still comfortable and enjoyable. Food was really tasty, roast with all the trimmings and more, roast chicken and beef both really tender. Will be back.

I do enjoy to dine at brsserie Blank. Food is delicious , good atmosphere and the service we receive every time from Piotrek is so professional and welcoming. I’m sure I will visit soon again. Thank you team brasserie blanc.

Have visited for a dinner to treat my brother. The team went above and beyond to make our evening fun special. Duck dish was one of the best we've ever tried! Bar team has prepared us special cocktails on request. Special thanks to our server Ben for being so charming and knowledgeable and looking after us so well! Can't wait to come back. Very busy on a sat eve. Atmosphere was great. Food was tasty, but service felt too quick.

We have seen a steady decline over the past 6-12 months, which is very sad. The waiting times to be served are too long, particularly between dishes. The number of members of staff in both the bar and the restaurant, is too low, resulting in poor service. The menu is not that attractive and varied and the food portions are small. The atmosphere at the weekend is no longer what it used to be and the overall experience is below standards, particularly for a brand associated with Raymond Blanc

Sadly the brasserie seems to be declining steadily. Over the past 6 - 12 months we have noticed an increase in waiting times between dishes, a low number of members of staff (both in the bar and the restaurant), a less attractive menu and smaller portions, as well as an overall change in atmosphere, for the worse. It used to be one of our favourite places to go in Cheltenham but not any more

I recently had dinner in this lovely restaurant, I must say the staff were very helpful and made great effort for me, as I’m gluten free, lactose free, and also can’t have onions and a few other things in my diet. The effort made paid off, as I was so happy with my meal I had the sea bream it was delicious and prepared so well. Staff I believe there names are Aggy, Ben, and the manageress, were just unreal they completely went out of their way for me. The restaurant is a comfortable relaxing environment to be in. Thank you and I will most defiantly be back.

We'd actually been here before with our 4 year old daughter which was also a genuinely easy and seamless experience. This time we came just the two of us and it was even better! Service is excellent, the food and drink are top quality and we just had such a fantastic night. Already looking forward to the n3xt time...

Came for a bite, Had a three course meal here have to say only thing wrong was I left my Iqos at home. What a beautiful meal. Definitely would return.

Ate here last Saturday dinner as a couple, the place is buzzing and welcoming. We had the most tasty crab dish it was divine. Service was excellent. Nice atmosphere and ambiance.

We had another fantastic visit today all of the food was absolutely delicious from the summer a la carte menu I chose to start beetroot terrine which was delicious my wife had the fish soup followed by the pork roulade for main I had the fish bouillabaise which was superb for desert I had apple and gooseberry crumble my wife had cheese cake this restaurant never disappoints its simply superb we always leave with a smile the waitress was Katie thankyou for the excellent friendly service we will be back for sure to our favourite restaurant in Cheltenham

First time I go to a Raymond Blanc restaurant. Very impressed with everything. Great setup in all areas and prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend and return!

Just had a fabulous lunch at Brasserie Blanc in Cheltenham. July 25th. The food and service were fantastic. I highly recommend the cheese souffle. It is to die for. Very relaxed. the waiters and waitress were very attentive and not pushy. Above all, we thought it was reasonably priced as well. So, if you are looking for a nice relaxed lunch, do give Brasserie Blanc a try. You will not be disappointed. 😋😁👌

Chose here for a Birthday celebration! It did not disappoint. Amazing birthday offer where everyone on the party of 4 got a free glass of prosecco! We had a starter of a Baguette, this was scrummy!! The Fillet Steak meal was fantastic. And the Chocolate Orange Mousse, wow just wow!. The waiter who served us was fast, efficient, friendly. She clocked on it was my birthday (the day before) and she presented a candle in the desert, this was incredibly thoughtful and kind of her. I am not sure what her name was ( had hair in a pony tail) ? But I am sure if you show. She will realise the impact she had! I would totally recommend coming here in Cheltenham for Dinner, we will be back!!

Working away, I spotted the Prix Fixe menu and decided to give it a try, was really impressed, went for the two courses, which also included a drink, which was a really nice surprise. The food came out quickly and was really good, staff were attentive and friendly. What really hit the spot was it was under my expenses budget for a change. Definitely one to look out for if you want good food at a great price

Beautiful food and atmosphere. Service was also very lovely. It was busy but that is always a good sign. We only opted for mains so the wait time was a little longer than we would have preferred but still worthy of 5 stars.

Really disappointing for a few of our party. Others enjoyed it. For me just average all round, really. The most annoying thing was the staff standing in the way all the time. I don't expect to have to walk around staff chatting whilst on my way to the toilet, or have to wait to sit down because they are in the way...chatting again.

On a day trip to Cheltenham, we had Sunday roasts and it was delicious! Excellent price for the experience. Beautiful dining space, excellent friendly, but not over bearing service (Think 'forks' episodes from the Bear 😅). Overall I would definitely eat there again! Recommended.

Had terrible food poisoning as confirmed by ambulance men. Dodgy crab. Thought it was and should have said something but we’ve had such good food in the past. Severely ill….hence calling an ambulance. Not sure we’d ever go back. My husband phoned them and they are sending forms! Not a great response.

On Father's day. I had a complementary beer then a spicy sausage salad with crispy leaves , lardons and a perfect poached egg. For my main a duck leg in lemon sauce and dauphinoise accompanied by a very nice Primativo Italian red, all absolutely delicious. Others had cheese soufle and beef bouginon noth superb

A very odd and disappointing meal for me, though my guests enjoyed theirs on the whole. I ordered the sirloin medium rare, and I got what was best described as an over-cooked minute steak; I asked for another…. And miraculously the replacement minute steak arrived minutes later and was stone cold, so clearly to my mind cooked earlier and (I presume) sent back by someone else. Not good. Service was good but a little “superior” for what is not a superior restaurant… This was a shame as I visit often from London and always head here, having had some nice Sunday lunches here etc, but tonight was not good. Having the manager approach and ask how I enjoyed my “second steak” did not help matters. In two minds whether to bother again….

No faults whatsoever with the restaurant, service and meal. Restaurant easy to find at the end of the promenade. Waiter was extremely good. The cheese soufflé was so light for my starter. My husband had a prawn and crayfish cocktail which he enjoyed. I had the dressed Devon crab and he had pork for the main. Faultless. Service was swift and efficient. Sadly the menu descriptions are very poor! For example the trout tartare is approx 33% trout and 66% avocado whilst avocado is not even listed as an ingredient! One gents toilet door was missing a lock and one sink out of action. The trout tartare was taken off the bill. Just need to refine the descriptions somewhat!

Really lovely lunch today in Cheltenham! We had the Virgin Experience set menu and it was fabulous. Super friendly staff, everyone we met was lovely but hostess Jo stood out as especially helpful. I can’t have dairy and she kindly help me make the right choices! Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Quick and attentive service, we will happily return!

Upper class restaurant. Limited choice of starters.

We visited Brasserie Blanc Cheltenham on Tuesday on a whim. The service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. However, we were disappointed with the food. I had the scallops, which tasted a bit off, but I didn't complain, like most people :). That night, I felt unwell, and the next day it got worse—I was sick and dizzy and couldn't go to work. My husband also tasted my food and experienced minor effects, although not as severe

We had a dinner recently with work colleagues, The staff was attentive and the food was decent, The only little criticism was that the duck confit was a bit dry( overcooked) for my liking and the cheese souffle and chocolate torte was due for, absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Great experience on a Wednesday night - great food, service and quite a good deal too with their steak and wine offer (a bottle of free house wine with 2 steaks dinner).

I remember when this place opened and the food was a decent standard. Sunday lunch was terrible. Unlimited roasties, yorskshire and gravy but why bother when the roast potatoes are microwaved and the Yorkshire puddings taste like cardboard. The gravy comes in a tiny jug and it is tiresome to keep asking for more when staff aren’t present, the whole meal was so dry it would take a gallon to make it edible. Cauliflower cheese was the driest I have ever tasted and the cabbage had grit in it. The beef was meagre and the chicken was bland and mostly just a leg. If that was half a roast chicken it was the smallest I have seen. How can half a roast chicken not have any breast meat? Nothing positive about the main. The puddings were ok but why no alternative but vegan custard which tastes synthetic - this is supposed to be a French brasserie so why the need to pander to veganism? No doubt because it’s cheaper. The setting is nice but we won’t be returning.

I am sorry to give just 2 stars but really don’t feel it warrants more. The welcome into the restaurant was warm and friendly, the decor of the building itself liked good and had a certain grandeur. The waiters and waitresses were friendly and polite. We were walk in customers, and shown to our table. This is where it started to go wrong in our opinion. The tables felt of poor quality and were not that stable - not wobbly due to floor- just not very sturdy. Even worse, the tables were set really close together, at this point we were almost the only ones in so it wasn’t an issue. The menu had a good choice, and we chose the duck and the pork ribeye along with a Merlot. The food was hot, but the pork ribeye lacked seasoning and flavour, the jus seemed more like water with some pork juices in it rather than anything else. The food was edible and cooked but, I’m sorry to say was nowhere near what I expected from the name above the door. My wife’s duck was similar- the carrots overly salty but not any flavour for the rest. The glass of Merlot was good. During the meal, more customers were seated and whilst I appreciate that the restaurant was getting busy, to start with, we were all sat in the same area and this is where the closeness of the tables really detracted from what should be more fine dining experience than it is. If I had stretched out an arm I could have touched the person at the next table- a downside of having a long bench seating system? We could hear their every word in conversation and they were not talking loudly. When the waiter served them, the gap between tables so narrow that my wife pretty much had his arse in her face whilst eating (not the waiters fault on this). Really didn’t live upto any expectation here. The toilets themselves: The room was good and nice hand soap, but the cubicle had a lock missing and the backs of the doors needed a repaint. Apparently the ladies cubicle doors were in the same need of a paint. We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant for my wife’s Birthday, but sadly will not be returning. We have had better quality food at supposedly lesser establishments and eaten in far more spacious surroundings with food quality way in excess of this. I hope it was just a poor day, having seen many of the other reviews; but was not the quality we were looking for or expecting

The service levels continue to go down at a steady pace. There is not enough staff to serve the customers demand neither in the bar nor in the restaurant. A real shame.

First time in a Brasserie Blanc so wasn’t that sure what to expect, but we had a great evening. Atmosphere was fantastic, food was spot on and service was great. Not much more to say really

Of the five of us; 3 were vegetarian, 1 vegan and the 5th ate vegetarian. We had three course and all of us thought the food excellent for each course. I did think the red wine was over priced for the quality. My colleagues had never been to BB before and all were favourable impressed.

Food is ok but nothing really that fantastic. The beef iwas prefectly grilled, the chicken was on the other had very dry. Clams lacked seasoning and there was very little broth. The fish (sea bass?) was good. Service missed one or two things that should have been taken care of before us asking.
