Brigg and Stow in North Somerset

Missed my flight to Ireland and was in a foul mood but my man Habib brought some genuine cheer to m day, great energy and great service

Habib was brilliant, so accommodating and friendly, checked on us regularly to make sure everything came on time, had a smile the whole time - full props to him, an asset to the company!

The eggs benedict was amazing - one egg was hard pouched and the other a perfect medium but I still enjoyed it. Hollandaise sauce is *chefs kiss* and I literally got my food in 5-7min, super quick turnover. Dip was so kind to cater to my dietary requirements.

For context with this review, I’m comparing it to other airport restaurants I have been too. It is unfair to compare them to proper places, given the stricter regulations they must follow. Coming home for Christmas is hungry work for a man. And I was hungry. The 1hr 30 minute journey on the A4 air flyer had taken it out of me and I simply needed something to eat. When I’m out at a restaurant I try and go for something a bit adventurous. This place’s menu is your standard affair for a pub grub place; fish and chips, chicken tikka masala, burger and chips. Nothing to really stimulate the tastebuds. I settled on having the most out their thing on the menu. The Korean BBQ Chicken Burger and chips, along with a pint of orchard thieves and onion rings. The Korean BBQ Chicken burger was interesting. It tasted good, and I could taste each constituent element; the fried crispy onions, the black onion seeds. The chicken patty itself was well cooked and crisp. Where I think this burger fails is in its message. What is it trying to say? It is not at all spicy and is in no way bringing about Korean vibes. The Chips were decent. They acted more like a vehicle for sauce however, as one is provided ample amount of Heinz and Hellmans a the table. I did despise however the free falling salt shaker, and Appleseed to a grinder. Over salted my chips - and no, I DO NOT accept responsibility. The onion rings themselves were alright. They had a good onion to batter ratio, however you could tell they were form frozen and no love was put into them. I enjoyed the fact they stocked orchard thieves, it is one of my favourite ciders. The total price of my lunch was £30 which is very dear for what it is. However, this is a captive market and all of the places in this airport are like this. But i mean £18.50 for a chicken burger is pretty dire. Having tried all of the restaurants in Bristol airport however, this is most certainly the best. I think this is down to the fact that the menu is small, and they aren’t trying to be too ambitious, unlike Frankie and Bennies which has too many items which they cannot make to high standard.

Should receive a Guinness World Record. Approx 2 mins from ordering to receiving my pint and a burger. Burger was quite cold and as it came out very quickly (albeit I the airport was quiet) should take longer than 2 mins! Most likely was frozen

Drinks quite expensive, good service though, especially from Jaya. Not great for gluten free.

The food was decent, I only had some sides but my aperol spritz was perfectly mixed. The atmosphere was nice as I stayed here for 4 hours with a delayed flight. Jaya was great and attentive, quickly clearing glasses and cleaning up spills at the table next to me and chatting with me after my flight was delayed.

Jaya was very polite, courteous and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the service.

Decent food, and great beer & service from Habib

An absolute disgrace of a place. Massively overpriced, very low quality food. A dish of pancakes and maple syrup seemed to be devoid of maple syrup. A request for more resulted in the server saying "it's not worth asking the kitchen as they will say no" Unexplicably, they also said there were no more poached eggs but they could do fried. Eh? They topped off our experience by bringing the wrong juice.

Great spot for lunch while waiting on flight. I got excellent service from Habib, who was really friendly and very polite. Highly recommend eating here.

I have just entered the airport and I’m very early for my flight. Today I’ve been served by a gentleman called “ Habib “ On every single occasion that I have entered the airport and had a beverage at Brigg & Stow, “ Habib “ has delivered incredible, excellent customer service consistently, and I’m truly grateful. Staff were lovely, unfortunately the food was terrible. £41 for a large and small breakfast. We have literally left 70% of it. Sausages barely cooked, eggs overcooked. Coffee really not great either. I've really been stung 😂, seriously if your going away better don't eat here. Not the best start to the holiday. Positive note the pints were decent

The most disgusting meal i have ever attempted to eat. plus 4 breakfasts 4 coffee's £69 utter joke. Can i suggest that you allow people to give zero stars, because this place and thier food is not worthy of one star. Date of visit 10.12.24

Habib was very friendly and I was absolutely blown away by the experience of a lifetime within this spectacular establishment. Even when not fliteing I will return here weekly on a Monday at 2.20pm and enjoy the delights once again. I have run out of superlative's to do this place justice, thank you once again from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Soooo complicated to order breakfast, scanning codes and being taken out of the app. Hard work. Not a great start to our holiday!

Bought 3 bacon baps here, took one bite and the bacon in all 3 was stone cold - sent them back to be replaced ( which they did in about 2 mins) only to have yet more cold bacon - at £8.29 each you at least expect the basis of the bacon to be hot ( warm at least) very poor !!

Food was tasty, but portions were quite small for the cost. Staff were very friendly - Jaya kept our children entertained.

Early breakfast airside. Limited menu only available and we both chose bacon rolls. The bacon was burnt to a crisp. It turned up before my wife got back from the bar even so they must have been desperate to get it out before it turned to pure carbon . With a coffee and a cider bill came to an outrageous £27.76. Never again.

Nice place but most of the food was off the menu to start. Had a sausage bap, dry roll and cold sausages! Ordered a peppermint tea and was given half a cup of water! At your prices i am sure you can do way better!!

Not sure if due to a limited menu, but the bacon roll was cold, no idea when the bacon was cooked but it had clearly been sitting around for a while. Staff friendly though, including Jaya.

Jaya was great at ensuring we were all comfortable and our area was clean. Only had drinks and snacks.

Jaya was very helpful, as they were having technical difficulties and we could not get the menu up.

Used to be OK but an absolute rip off now. Food used to be nice, ie decent bacon and sausages but just awful now. Also most tables don't have numbers so difficult to order from.

Charged twice (£67.98) for 2 bottles of prosecco on 26/10/2024. Have sent several customer feedbacks spoken to them 6 times on the phone and they said they would chase. Apparently this duplicate card pmt happens on a monthly basis according to 2 members of staff. No one from their head office has rung or emailed me and still waiting to be reimbursed. They have admitted that they can see that they took the payment twice.

The airport WiFi wasn't working, but Habib kindly helped me connect to his, which made my visit so much easier. Sweet potato fries were delicious.
