The cafe at Waitrose in Nailsea is large, bright and clean - a pleasant enough place to enjoy refreshments. On my last visit the cappuccino coffee purchased was hot and well presented - however, it would have benefited from being a little stronger with more flavour. The staff were friendly.

We have been customers for approximately 10 years. We are farmers and like to support supermarkets that support us but unfortunately the home delivery service recently and for sometime has seriously deteriorated. Deliveries have been consistently late. No stock when ordering. If you go to the store the shelves are empty, they are struggling, no flour for 2 weeks. Regrettably we have moved to Sainsbury’s.

The food and coffee were very nice, and the staff friendly and helpful. The only reason I've marked it down is we visited when the weather was very cold, and where the cafe is situated in the store meant we kept our coats on to keep warm.

Joe makes the best Cappuccino with lots of chocolate. Remembers customers. Clean, tidy, relaxing space. Excellent Cafeteira staff.

Always tasty snacks, and the place is always clean.

Lovely store which has everything I need. Even has a cafe. Parking available and they also do home delivery

Good selection of expensive food, very friendly staff but as a state pensioner after three visits I have concluded it's not the shop for me! I hope the very helpful staff are on more than the living wage as their bonus this year has plummeted. I would like to shop here for its quality, but as a State Pensioner with no other income I CAN'T AFFORD TO!!!

Lunchtime and hungry so instead of cafe or pub, I thought I would try Waitrose, what a big mistake that was, considering there were numerous other choices available. The person that served me was wonderful and took my order for Fish Chips and Peas (£7.50) and a port of tea (£2.00) but unfortunately what followed did not live up to my expectations, those revolving around quality. The chips were over-baked as was the piece of fish - words fail me to describe the poor quality of the meal. Over priced and poor quality and management , you really need to sort this out !

After finishing our shopping in Waitrose we often go into their cafe for a snack or something more substantial. They have a nice of choice of food for you to choose from & they have some good drinks too & all can be purchased for a very reasonable price.

This was a good meeting place for a friend & I to catch up over a coffee. A good atmosphere comfy seating & assessable to all. Staff were nice and friendly & constantly wiping tables as quite busy.

Comfortable, easy-going cafe with great choice of cakes etc. Only gripe is onion rings missed off the chicken burger.

Service a bit slow because someone was returning something to the counter for a refund, but lovely half price cheesecake with my Waitrose card.

It is a while since I had a cup of coffee here and I had hoped the service might have improved now that there is no free coffee for waitrose card holders. But no it is still slow and chaotic and the coffee not great.

No selection and everything not in any sort of order. Meet, fish counter closed till 11on Sunday as well as tills. Shouldn't open if they won't let you pay, some of us have things to do. or use the counters, especially at their prices. Absolute joke, I won't be going back

Usual supermarket cafe and not very good coffee.

Tried the full breakfast and did not enjoy the quality of the products. The toast was rancid. Not coming back for sure for breakfast.

They always have good offers on the food items. It is a nice clean local store. There is a fresh bakery in store. Checkout is always quick. Staff are friendly. If you have a reward card you get a free cup ofcoffee

I visited on a whim really I have a loyalty card but finances mean I stopped shopping here. I was told by a friend shop the offers and essentials and it is competitive. Ok I thought give it a go. Mainly fruit and veg and a bath mat (£9). I spent £26+ and it included what I thought was 2 for £3 but when I got home it was 3 for 2 and Reg or Ray who served me while being very friendly he never prompted me about the offer. I am saddened.

I know with all the pressure these people have has been eased so what with takeingaway free teas it could also help if when they bring out order they could take a dirty tray back as they are going to kitchen anyway rather than have customers move one tray of dirty cups and plates from one table to another.also they are the only shop that charges for extra hot water with you teas,this includes garden centres an high street cafes.

Very poor unless you want a posh sandwich and pay through the nose for it

It was probably the heat, but cakes were a bit dry, and doughy otherwise coffee was good.

The cafe is good and friendly service but they have just stopped serving free tea and coffee. That's not very good really which is why I gave it a three star. I don't see the point of my waitrose card now.

God is the shopping centre in Nailsea in need of an update. it's very 60's utilitarian. The Waitrose café is synonymous with the centre. Nailsea itself deserves a better shopping experience . The service was average but acceptable but what was more annoying was the price for a toasty and coffee - over £7 - typical Waitrose! Mind you Costas' Coffee is just as pricey. A lot of money for extremely average. And like other reviewers mentioned they had some meals on offer that weren't available. Now if you're going to put yourself forward as a posh frocks supermarket then you really need to deliver on all fronts and like M&S etc. they are not at that level. You can't purport to be premier league if you are middle of the table league 1 and then charge premier league prices. There seems to be a lack of cafes in Nailsea town centre so Waitrose have the monopoly and it's not up to the mark. Sorry Waitrose you can and should do better. Is it just in Nailsea or is it a contagion?

What is going wrong with deliveries from this store? Always late now and missing the delivery slot entirely Things missing, not available or poor substitutions Don't blame the drivers - I wouldn't have their job for anything. We've complained many times and get voucher- but we want improvement Maybe time to go to Ocado to get better service

Every visit there is always at least 2 things they are 'out of stock'. Haven't got time to hang around to find a staff/manager for an answer. Also shelves are very badly managed - date order often back to front especially on dairy shelves. Often wilting/yellowing vegetables too!

Called for a light lunch today ,very disappointing . Dirty uncleared tables , I cleared it myself . My husband waited in the queue to order for a long time only to be told it would be a 30 minute wait for our food to be served . We decided not to wait and went elsewhere . It was fairly busy and approx 2 pm . We have visited on previous occasions and found most empty tables uncleared . Very disappointing .

Whenever we go shopping in Waitrose we always end up in their café for a coffee or something more substantial. The staff there are very friendly & they have a nice selection of food available. Nice just to sit a while & relax before heading for home.

As a frequent visitor to Waitrose and their cafes, the feel in here was rather chaotic, the 2 poor ladies serving were rushed off their feet, but still managed to keep smiling.

This is a lovely spot for a coffee before or after shopping. There is a good range of snacks for sale. It overlooks te shopping precinct, so you can watch the world go by.

This used to be so much better. Often now find that there is a limited selection of cake on offer (they have run out of lots of things) The service is often very slow and the tables are often piled up with dirty plates and cups waiting to be taken away making far more difficult to find a clean table.

We do not have many Waitrose stores in Scotland, so always a delight to pop into this one. Parking excellent, staff friendly, place spotlessly clean. Great range and variety of food and clothing

When ever we do our shopping in Waitrose we always end up in their cafe for a coffee & cake or something more substantcial. The staff there are very nice & there food is always freshly prepared to your requirements, good place to relax & rest a while.

the menu choices here are good - for both adults and children. The staff are also very helpful. So the only problem is the time it takes to be served : which means this place is definitely best avoided if you are in a rush. It appeals more to retired folk.

En route after mini break. Stopped for breakfast. Had Cumberland sausage in ciabatta and yoghurt, porridge with fruit compote, and fresh orange juice. Excellent. Hot, tasty and reasonably priced.
