We attended my cousins wake here on December 17th. I had previously read the reviews and was sceptical. Well I really don't know who these people are that wrote the bad reviews. The pub is beautifully decorated, clean, no sticky tables, and above all the buffet was lovely, huge variety of different foods, wraps, tacos with cheese, prawns, breaded mushrooms , absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly helpful and accomdating. Will be returning for a meal.

Amazing Pub. Local pub who help support a local football club. They held a Christmas party event for the kids and it was excellent. Food was great, service was great. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Kid friendly with great staff. Thank you so much.

Been here twice recently & both times an item has been missing from the plate, today I chose the gammon steak with fried egg , chips & peas , it arrived missing the peas & the egg was overcooked . Nobody came to ask if all was ok. It ddin't seem overly busy today so there shouldn't be any excuses. When the menu states what you are paying for you expect to get it unless an item has run out then the cashier would surely advise at the time of ordering.

Food ok. Pub absolutely freezing, everyone sat with their coats on! No warning of this, if we’d know we would of re arranged

Our first visit to the Manor with two others. Ordered lunch unfortunately my lunch came out long before the other three meals so when they came out mine was cold. Reviews show that this is not uncommon for this pub.

Had an absolute cracking at the manor today, completely blew away my expectations would most definitely come again, the food was exquisite, perfect down to every bite, the service, absolutely phenomenal my waiter Daniel, A hilarious young chap, made me feel completely at home made me feel like a true local. If i could give 100 stars i would, and the atmosphere, just wow absolutely top notch the way Daniel made the pub feel was just a different feeling, ive seen waitering skills so advanced. Overall experience 100/10 cant wait til my next visit!

Our favourite pub in the area, lovely and helpful staff, fantastic relaxed atmosphere, very dog friendly, good fun with things like regular quizzes and events. 10/10, highly recommend to locals and visitors. The bingo man is very short though

A friend in my group Booked us a table for a meal. Table wasn't clean when we arrived. Started came out and wasn’t hot. Had a burger for main course and tasted like cheap meat with not alot of flavour. Deserts were good. Hats off to staff as only two on the bar and one lad serving food.

Such a nice place to go for a meal, one staff member especially Chelsea, made me feel so welcome and gave me great service :)

Food was OK but the skillet was not hot so no sizzle so food was cool by last mouthful disappointing considering it's a sizzling food pub, girl who served food didn't ask if we wanted any condiments and didn't bring any cutlery so we had to ask for them, no one asked during the meal if all was OK or if we needed anything and when we finished eating we had no serviettes on table and had to ask for them, I have been to alot of sizzling pubs before and can honestly say this was my most disappointed experience

Nice and quiet when we visited. Food was fine and beers were good quality. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Good menu choice and great if you’ve got children. Look forward to visiting again.

Mac and cheese very small . Spoke to manager no help and no customer service she didn't care no one came to the table to see if our meal was ok not value for money salmon was very dry and so was chicken . Will not be coming again what a shame was much better a year ago

Sooo disappointed! Booked for a birthday and ended up leaving. Waited a while got starters and plates were never cleared. Had to ask where mains were after them still not being there nearly 2 hours after initially ordering. When it did come all chips were cold, steaks not cooked as asked, cold halloumi and just generally really poor! Ended up driving over to Catherine's Inn instead. A shame as it was good years ago but definitely wouldn't go back again.

40 minutes wait for food which we weren't told when at last it came out chips were cold meat was cold veg were cold, one meal was missing had to chase it. Staff weren't interested We will not be rushing back

Excellent service at bar and food is sizzling hot, nice portion sizes, great staff, clean premises, although iv ordered a take away for 3 people And it is not the same as in the pub, portion size wise its smaller , a great experience in the restaurant/ pub , but always friendly, staff are great friendly and make sure everyone is ok 😊 great experience, recommend to everyone to try this restaurant once and you will love it ! Pet friendly also ! Amazing

Cost effective family friendly pub.

When ordered we’re told there’s a 15 minute wait as if they were trying to put me off ordering. I thought 15 minutes was perfectly fine. Then after 40 minutes waiting I asked at the bar. She went to check and I sat back down. She then returned with the food and a rude attitude without bringing or even offering us cutlery. Never order food there again

Walked in with my partner today and had a warm welcome by the lovely staff. Went on to have 2 meals and they were beautifully cooked. Fresh, hot and tasty and we were aware there was a new chef in the kitchen. Thanks for the lovely meal and service!

Waited 70 mins for starters then another half hour for the mains , this is the seccond time iv had to wait over a hour here in the last two weeks , I won’t be returning

Our 4 visit to Sizzling pubs and the third time here. First visit about 6 months ago was superb. We had fish and chips - fish very white and crispy batter - chips best ever, could have been freshly fried. Our most recent visit was most disappointing - fish was dry and quite small, chips also very dry - definitely oven chips so not sure why they had this texture. The peas (these seem infamous, in a poor way) very few garden peas and almost like bullets. our previous two visits were not a whole lot better so I am afraid, despite living just 5 minutes away, we will not be visiting again anytime soon. I agree normally that complaining on the day enables the restaurant to make things right, but tbh there really isn’t any excuse for serving sub-standard food even if there was 40% off.

We have used The Old Manor Inn for 16 years, about once a fortnight. Excellent food and good value for money.

The food I was served at the bar by abi and the food made I believe by Liam Ewan and Kym my server was called rhi and asked nat the manager for the names lovely place and amazing food.

I had a amazing food made by Liam Kim and Ewan everything was perfect the pour on my tribute was amazing thanks to Abi rhi and jasmine served me my food and nat came to the table to have a quick chat and ask how the food was 10/10

We usually call in at The Manor for a drink on a Friday afternoon and did so yesterday. The staff were polite and friendly as we have come to expect BUT NO-ONE WAS CLEARING THE TABLES! It is obviously a job that none of the staff want to do and so no-one does it. A young family came in and sat at the table next to us. It had been vacated half an hour or so previously but the husband and wife ended up having to clear it themselves. This is problem that we have seen several times before. We have even seen customers walk in, look around at the uncleared tables and walk back out again. It was not as though the pub was under staffed yesterday. There were several people chatting behind the bar but no-one clearing tables. It's a really nice pub but is letting itself down with something so simple.

Jo & Kym in the Kitchen prepared some fantastic plates. Rhiannon at front of house was soooooo efficient, friendly & attentive. A great place to eat with wonderful staff ready to make your meal special.

The Old Manor is our local and we’ve taken to go weekly for the past year for the Thursday Quiz. Drink prices are unbeatable, food is lovely and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We love them! The dogs are always welcomed with treats. Really couldn’t rate higher, will always recommend The Manor!

I've been here a few times now, and it's a good place to go to catch up with friends or family etc it's enjoyable plenty of parking somewhere different to enjoy lunch out instead of being stuck in at home all the time having the same thing I try different new meals when I can the staff are very friendly and very helpful and very polite and the place is clean and tidy and the food is always hot

We come here quite often as it is up the road from our caravan. Always an excellent meal, and we have twice brought friends down for a meal here too.

I haven't been to the manor in a while I will definitely be going again The food was lovely and not too long to wait for food service was very good, celebrating my grandsons 2nd birthday,just a shame it was raining and the children couldn't go outside.

Absolutely fuming, the customer service was shocking today, I even asked if I was invisible.. Waited and hour for food because of a big table bar ladies words not mine... not my problem actually she then stormed into kitchen swearing 3 of us (tables) heard it. Not one apology for long wait either. Just disgusting to be honest.

Sat outside for a drink on a stop off for a bike ride. Didn't go inside, sat outside. Used to come here at least 25 years ago. Garden looks run down sadly

Spotted this pub on the way back from a visit to Sand Bay and I was only going to stop for a drink but was tempted to order lunch from the seeing food coming out and I was so glad I did as the burger and gammon were both delicious.

Lovely coffee. Ordered the Nachos dish.... no jalapeños or onion just a bowl of Nachos with cold squeezy cheese and 2 teaspoons of salsa. The worst plate of "Nachos " I've ever seem. To be fair, the bar staff agreed& refunded in full.

Amazing steak, yummy ice cream, fantastic prices and really friendly and efficient staff. We definitely recommend this place and will come again
