Gorgeous food, excellent drinks, lots of selection, Jasmine, Louis and Nat lovely friendly staff

Four of us ate at The Manor last Wednesday (12th March). The food was good and excellent value. The service provided by Jake and Dave was brilliant.

The big beef burger!! Well what can I say……better than 5 guys and three Brothers…..get your self to the Manor so you can decide for yourselves!! 🎊🍔 Staff are lovely and the atmosphere is always friendly! 😊 And a lovely welcoming environment for your four legged furry friends too as well as a well topped up treat jar!! 🐾

Decent enough grub at good prices. A nice large outside area if a little run down. All good.

We had not booked and it was raining hard but friendly staff found us a table and we had a lovely well priced meal .

It's awesome and you only have an normal waiting time when they are really busy! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and any age group is welcome. Love it.

Stay clear our food took 45 minutes to come out the place was absolutely dead on 2 small tables and us eventually our food come all the chips have been recooked a few times from what they looked like my burger was like rubber my partners chicken you could player tennis with so we ask for different meals and that was even worse. Avoid at all cost.

Booked a room for funeral wake. David, manager was so helpful at such an emotional time. Nothing was too much trouble. Buffet was excellent & staff were so helpful. We held a wake here for my son on 20th February 2025. From the booking process onwards, David, the assistant Manager was excellent. It was a difficult time for me & my family, but we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. The buffet, tea & coffee facilities were second to none. We were around 50 people, & everyone had nothing but praise for the quality of service. Well done David & all staff. You made a difficult day a lot easier for all of us. Many thanks from us all. Had a lovely meal at the Inn, really good service and friendly staff. Good range of events that the Inn hosts and I espically like the quiz on a Thursday.

Walked in with my partner today and had a warm welcome by the lovely staff. Went on to have 2 meals and they were beautifully cooked. Fresh, hot and tasty! Thanks for the lovely meal and service!

Great place for family meals , just a drink or a quick bite to eat . Great sports area just think the pool table is a bit close to the darts area , could the pool table be turned to create more space for both games?

I had won a three course meal for two in the Facebook valentines competition. The table was all set up lovely for our arrival. The staff were all welcoming and gave great service as always. Thanks for a lovely evening!

In the last 2 weeks we have been there for food 3 times because the food has been amazing, first visit I booked for my little brothers bday mean and there 21 people there and they served us amazing food was 5 star then went for my parents bday 2 days in a row, price is so good for what u get and I love the deal of kids eat for £1 amazing. This pub had a real welcoming vibe, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Food was yum, with good veggie options which is always good to see. Good value for money.

Gyros feast was lovely, spoilt by mostly chips.

All though the main course was spectacular I didn't receive my desert till 35 minutes after I placed my order so I then mentioned it to the member of staff who then brought it out without checking the toppings of my desert wasn't very happy with it

This was the first visit for me and I highly recommend all aspects of the dining experience. I will be back 👍

This is our 2nd visit, we thought we’d give you a 2nd chance after our first visit we froze as no heating, today’s visit no heating on even though it’s working. Lots of items on the menu unavailable, 4 different things we choose all unavailable. My advice if you’re visiting here, wear a coat and eat before you come. Won’t be coming a 3rd time.

Excellent food. Fresh produce and quick service. Very clean and friendly staff. Plenty of choice on the menu. Indoor and outdoor seating and small play area.

The welcome from (I think he's the manager,tall dark hair-so sorry I've forgotten his name,really nice friendly,laid back,helpful.) He even had the table reserved we requested!I last visited during Summer,he was exactly the same then.I noticed him interacting with guests,taking drinks over,clearing tables.Thank you. The atmosphere was great.I commented to my husband that it has definitely improved over the last year or so when we've visited.It was really busy,nice though.The staff were still attentive.There was a refit over a year ago,much better and needed. The drinks were great. The food delicious and hot.(We had the normal mixed grill.)The dessert was delicious-Profiteroles with caramel,cream etc.And to finish one of the best Cappuccino's I've had. The waitress was friendly, and asked if our food was good also during the meal.Our plates were cleared quickly. A lady staff member (at the end, when we were paying,) asked if everything was ok. We'll definitely be back! Thank you. It's so nice to see our local back to it's best. The prices below include our drinks and coffees.

We attended my cousins wake here on December 17th. I had previously read the reviews and was sceptical. Well I really don't know who these people are that wrote the bad reviews. The pub is beautifully decorated, clean, no sticky tables, and above all the buffet was lovely, huge variety of different foods, wraps, tacos with cheese, prawns, breaded mushrooms , absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly helpful and accomdating. Will be returning for a meal.

Amazing Pub. Local pub who help support a local football club. They held a Christmas party event for the kids and it was excellent. Food was great, service was great. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Kid friendly with great staff. Thank you so much.

Very cold felt like there was no heating food was nothing special only good thing was the service

Been here twice recently & both times an item has been missing from the plate, today I chose the gammon steak with fried egg , chips & peas , it arrived missing the peas & the egg was overcooked . Nobody came to ask if all was ok. It ddin't seem overly busy today so there shouldn't be any excuses. When the menu states what you are paying for you expect to get it unless an item has run out then the cashier would surely advise at the time of ordering.

Food ok. Pub absolutely freezing, everyone sat with their coats on! No warning of this, if we’d know we would of re arranged

Our first visit to the Manor with two others. Ordered lunch unfortunately my lunch came out long before the other three meals so when they came out mine was cold. Reviews show that this is not uncommon for this pub.

Had an absolute cracking at the manor today, completely blew away my expectations would most definitely come again, the food was exquisite, perfect down to every bite, the service, absolutely phenomenal my waiter Daniel, A hilarious young chap, made me feel completely at home made me feel like a true local. If i could give 100 stars i would, and the atmosphere, just wow absolutely top notch the way Daniel made the pub feel was just a different feeling, ive seen waitering skills so advanced. Overall experience 100/10 cant wait til my next visit!

Our favourite pub in the area, lovely and helpful staff, fantastic relaxed atmosphere, very dog friendly, good fun with things like regular quizzes and events. 10/10, highly recommend to locals and visitors. The bingo man is very short though

A friend in my group Booked us a table for a meal. Table wasn't clean when we arrived. Started came out and wasn’t hot. Had a burger for main course and tasted like cheap meat with not alot of flavour. Deserts were good. Hats off to staff as only two on the bar and one lad serving food.

Food was OK but the skillet was not hot so no sizzle so food was cool by last mouthful disappointing considering it's a sizzling food pub, girl who served food didn't ask if we wanted any condiments and didn't bring any cutlery so we had to ask for them, no one asked during the meal if all was OK or if we needed anything and when we finished eating we had no serviettes on table and had to ask for them, I have been to alot of sizzling pubs before and can honestly say this was my most disappointed experience

Nice and quiet when we visited. Food was fine and beers were good quality. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Good menu choice and great if you’ve got children. Look forward to visiting again.

Mac and cheese very small . Spoke to manager no help and no customer service she didn't care no one came to the table to see if our meal was ok not value for money salmon was very dry and so was chicken . Will not be coming again what a shame was much better a year ago

Sooo disappointed! Booked for a birthday and ended up leaving. Waited a while got starters and plates were never cleared. Had to ask where mains were after them still not being there nearly 2 hours after initially ordering. When it did come all chips were cold, steaks not cooked as asked, cold halloumi and just generally really poor! Ended up driving over to Catherine's Inn instead. A shame as it was good years ago but definitely wouldn't go back again.

40 minutes wait for food which we weren't told when at last it came out chips were cold meat was cold veg were cold, one meal was missing had to chase it. Staff weren't interested We will not be rushing back

Excellent service at bar and food is sizzling hot, nice portion sizes, great staff, clean premises, although iv ordered a take away for 3 people And it is not the same as in the pub, portion size wise its smaller , a great experience in the restaurant/ pub , but always friendly, staff are great friendly and make sure everyone is ok 😊 great experience, recommend to everyone to try this restaurant once and you will love it ! Pet friendly also ! Amazing

Cost effective family friendly pub.

When ordered we’re told there’s a 15 minute wait as if they were trying to put me off ordering. I thought 15 minutes was perfectly fine. Then after 40 minutes waiting I asked at the bar. She went to check and I sat back down. She then returned with the food and a rude attitude without bringing or even offering us cutlery. Never order food there again

The Manor Pub is an excellent place to meet and enjoy the food. Rae and Jake were very helpful and friendly and made us very welcome.

Bar staff kinda chill like that

Waited 70 mins for starters then another half hour for the mains , this is the seccond time iv had to wait over a hour here in the last two weeks , I won’t be returning

Our 4 visit to Sizzling pubs and the third time here. First visit about 6 months ago was superb. We had fish and chips - fish very white and crispy batter - chips best ever, could have been freshly fried. Our most recent visit was most disappointing - fish was dry and quite small, chips also very dry - definitely oven chips so not sure why they had this texture. The peas (these seem infamous, in a poor way) very few garden peas and almost like bullets. our previous two visits were not a whole lot better so I am afraid, despite living just 5 minutes away, we will not be visiting again anytime soon. I agree normally that complaining on the day enables the restaurant to make things right, but tbh there really isn’t any excuse for serving sub-standard food even if there was 40% off.

We have used The Old Manor Inn for 16 years, about once a fortnight. Excellent food and good value for money.

We have been here a few times now & will use this pub as one of our weekly eat outs Food & service excellent & a very good atmosphere
