Spotted this pub on the way back from a visit to Sand Bay and I was only going to stop for a drink but was tempted to order lunch from the seeing food coming out and I was so glad I did as the burger and gammon were both delicious.

Amazing steak, yummy ice cream, fantastic prices and really friendly and efficient staff. We definitely recommend this place and will come again

Lovely coffee. Ordered the Nachos dish.... no jalapeños or onion just a bowl of Nachos with cold squeezy cheese and 2 teaspoons of salsa. The worst plate of "Nachos " I've ever seem. To be fair, the bar staff agreed& refunded in full.

We had a funeral wake here on a Saturday. All the staff were very nice. They all work very hard. The food was lovely too. Thank you all very much.

Booked a meal for 7 people Friday evening. Ordered our food by half 7, food did not come out until 10 past 9, nearly a 2 hour wait. The staff apologised however a 2 hour wait isn’t acceptable. The staff were nice however but just let down on the speed of service

Whenever we are in Weston-super-Mare we always make a visit and enjoy the food freshness and atmosphere

10 of us came in for lunch today to celebrate a special occasion and had a a really good time. We ordered a range of meals and they all came out together hot and fresh tasting even though it was busy. Dave was very welcoming, friendly and professional which topped off a great experience. Service was pleasant but slow, took over half an hour to prepare two salads.

The food can be a little hit and miss, but the pub is nice and clean, has smart darts and a Pool table within the sports lounge area. And nice pub garden with plenty of free parking.

Placed a food order for 6 people (4 kids 2 adults), 2 meals were missed and one of which was wrong 3 times, then arrived on a red hot plate for an under 6yo meal which was totally unsafe. No staff followed up to see if the food was ok and cleared plates before everyone had finished eating. The steak on the mixed grill was uneatable. Whilst staff were informed they didn't seem to care or apologise. They then doubled up on the deserts by mistake and swore when they realised what they had done.

I was given a voucher for my birthday. We found the members of staff very efficient and polite. The food came up quickly and was excellent .

Had a fantastic meal at the manor perfectly cook blu steak by the chef tod and a wonderful child's meal cooked by jo the pair of us leaving happy nail are severe was a pleasure aswell

Popped in for some drinks on a warm evening - sat outside with our dog, atmosphere of patrons here was great, everyone very merry and friendly. Staff were lovely and all came out taking it in turns fussing our dog (who very much loved the attention). Didn't order any food but really enjoyed it.

First impressions were good plenty of outside seating with huge sports tv The cook went above and beyond to alter our groupon booking but what let it down was the poor hygiene in the ladies 😪

We gave it the benefit of the doubt yet again and walked the twenty minutes to get there as we would love to have The Manor as our local. They have five pins for real ale DOOMBAR, TRIBUTE, BUTCOMBE. two never used (NONE OF THEM WORKING TODAY) They are a PUB, how can they not have beers working? The answer is simple you need to care about the product and customers, this review is pointless as nothing will change, even though I have raised this time and time again.

I took my partner and my 12 year old son for a meal to the old manor in kewstoke we were Really disappointed spent 50 something pounds ,when the food arrived it was badly over cooked chicken was burnt and dry ,burgers was burnt and very dry couldn't eat any of it so i asked for a full refund and the young kid behind the bar got very aggressive and had a really bad attitude towards me.and because I stood my ground and ask for a refund the cheeky little fxxxer told me to get out and said I was barred ,absolutely disgusted with the way we was treated especially in front of my son. DEFINITELY WOULDN'T EAT THEIR EVER AGAIN ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.

Possibly the worst food I’ve had in there for a long time , had gyros, more chips than anything, cold and flavourless Table of four , fish and chips, fish was the size of a sardine over cooked fries dry and cold

Oh dear. Utterly disappointing. Broken glass lined the walkway from the carpark and empty drink cans decorated the path to the main entrance doorway. Not the greatest first impression. We were really looking forward to dining at this sizzle pub which looked really nice from it's online presence. We ordered the sizzling grilled chicken and the Boss burger. After a long day's hike we were famished and eagerly awaited our food. We were eventually served a non-sizzling chicken saturated in oily veg and a burger that did not have the signature mac 'n cheese! As per branding, any non-sizzling dish will be replaced, and I mentioned to the server as she placed it on the table that it wasn't sizzling and the reply was "that's how it comes, some sizzle, some don't", and she walked off. This was the most disappointing meal out of our whole camping holiday. We would not eat here again or recommend it.

I think if you go to a Sizzler pub, you kind of know what you're getting. But still. Car park had a lot of broken glass. Felt immediate need to wash hands after touching the menu. When 'if it's not sizzling, send it back' menu item comes out not sizzling: "Oh, some come like that" we are informed. It's nothing that can't be corrected if someone in charge actually gave a damn, but disappointing to find when popping in. On the plus side, beer OK.

Disappointing experience. We visited The Manor for an evening meal in early July. It was not particularly busy when we arrived but had obviously been busier earlier in the evening because most of the tables had not been cleared. Eventually we had to clear a table ourselves. Signed-up online for discounts but the link they sent did not work. My daughter ordered a curry and I ordered scampi and chips. The curry was fine, but the scampi and chips were barely edible; the scampi had picked up the flavour from other things that had previously been cooked in the oil and I found the remains of a very overcooked bone that looked like it might have been a rib at some point in its life. The chips were hard (but not crispy) as though they had been reheated in a microwave. Despite being really hungry when we arrived I had to leave half of the meal. Maybe they were having an off night or were short-staffed, but I will not be going back again.

We have had a lovely meal with family and we are now in the garden drinking in the sunshine.🌞 beautiful atmosphere 🥰😂

Good atmosphere. Normally just have drinks here. Robyn has served me a couple of times and is very polite and friendly. All the other staff also make an effort to make you feel welcome.

Awful. Pre booked a table for 7.15pm on a Wednesday evening to take a friend for a birthday celebration meal. When we arrived we were shown to the table. The table had a sign saying RESERVED and our name on it. We ordered two lots of drinks whilst choosing from the menu. When we then tried to place our food order we were told very bluntly "You can't order food" we explained we hadn't just walked in, and that we had booked and were already sat at the table which we had booked. We were told we still couldn't order any food as the kitchen was busy with an hours wait already, so they weren't taking any more orders. It was only about 7.45pm. We explained we'd booked to have a meal here tonight and the reply was a shrug and we were again told that it didn't make any difference that we'd booked. It was embarrasing as I had booked and taken a friend out for a meal as a birthday treat and instead we were left partway through the evening having to leave and drive around looking for somewhere else who could squeeze us in. At no point in the time between my placing the booking and the day of the meal, or at anytime during the evening, when we were being shown to our table, when we were ordering and being served two lots of drinks, or when we were sat choosing from the menu did any of the staff inform us there was a problem, or that we would not be able to have our meal. I understand that sometimes places get busy and if you walk in off the street on the off chance they may not be able to accommodate you. But when you've actually arranged and booked a table, they have accepted and confirmed that booking, you've arrived and been shown to the table and given your drinks to then be told you can't have the meal is just ludicrously bad management. So my advice would be if you actually want to eat a meal when you've booked a table for a meal don't book at The Manor!

I have always had a problem with food here..Had fish and chips...fish tasted odd..when I told staff they replied I can't see how it would taste odd..but it had a jelly texture and does not taste like fish...they didn't believe me so I said I'm not eating it and didn't pay for it...

Didn’t have food just came in for a couple drinks. Great atmosphere here, staff were so kind even with a complicated order. Think I heard someone say the name Bobby? She was absolutely incredible to me and my friends, will be back again for sure.

Food was fine and steak cooked perfectly. Major problem was the waiting time. Table was at 6.15pm, main meals took quite a long time but the deserts took an absolute age to arrive. Ordered at 8.03pm according to the till receipt, deserts actually arrived at 9pm and that was only after badgering the staff regarding the delay. This pub is understaffed, it is near two holiday camps and will definitely not cope with the large influx of holiday makers in the school holidays.

Good service. Reasonable food. Bingo was a laugh! It was a nice change for a mid week meal and the Bingo was a bonus! The food was OK for the money and the drinks were reasonable. The bar staff and waitresses were very good.

We have had a few lunchtime meals, these have always been good but today we decided to try their breakfast. Nicely presented but unfortunately on cold plates, food mostly just warm, beans and mushrooms were stone cold. This was disappointing after our previous lunchtime experiences. John

Service was terrible Waited an hour for food and then they told me my daughters would be longer. To then be served cold food, missing items, missing sharer side completely. Food was terrible.. worst sizzling pub I've ever been too hands down!

It took over an hour for the food to come out which was wrong and completely missing items, our Childs food was cooked and served after ours, our chips were stone cold and the best part of our meal was the pepsi but the man who was serving us sorted it all out he was good

We were a large table of 6. Served promptly by very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere in place. I had cod and chips. Fish was beautifully cooked and batter crispy. Good value for money we felt. Special mention to Rhiannon Tyler. Extremely pleasant young lady who was constantly smiling! Very professional attitude but made us feel valued and relaxed. Only wish all staff at other venues were as well trained! Will be back.

8 meals 3 completely burnt 2 like a child's portion. Very little veg on chicken skillet, chicken was dry. Over 40 minutes waiting close on an hour for the last one to turn up. One waitress bringing out one meal at a time. Yes we should have complained but we just wanted to get out of there. Avoid this place at all cost,there are many other places nearby.

We were a large table of 11 and had ordered in small groups but all went up to the bar together to order! The lady serving behind the bar was really unfriendly and seemed annoyed we were a big table! She asked if we wanted the food to come out together, we said we would love that but understood we were a large table ordering separately so as close together as possible would be great! There was 50 minutes between the first person food and the last! With people who I saw order after us receiving and finishing their food before our party!!! I had steak with I had asked for medium to well and they were obviously now rushing to then get our food out ( after I went and asked after 45 minutes ) as my steak came out rare! The steak was tasteless and a let down! Really wouldn’t be in a rush to eat here again!

8 of us booked here for my grandsons birthday meal. It was bank holiday weekend, so we were expecting it to be busy. And it was. We ordered the food via the app, no issues there. Then went up to the bar and there was a massive queue with nobody at the bar. One of the customers even stuck his head through the kitchen door shouting to see if anyone is serving. Finally someone came out to serve drinks. I was waiting 20 mins to get my pint. Got back to the table and the starters were being delivered. Starters in general was tasty, but the portion size were tiny. I had 3 small pieces of southern fried chicken bites. I pretty much inhaled them. I had steak which was ok but not cooked to medium rare. 2 other people had steaks and not up 2 standard. One of the sauces brought was just burnt and looked like jelly so it was sent back and a replacement was brought. We couldn't wait to leave. We didn't complain as not many staff and it was busy. It's a real shame as I go to 2 Sizzlers near me and not once I've been disappointed with them.

Our first visit to the Manor with two others. Ordered lunch unfortunately my lunch came out long before the other three meals so when they came out mine was cold. Reviews show that this is not uncommon for this pub.

If I could leave no stars I would we went on 8th May bank holiday only 2 staff working had to wait 1 and half hour for food no tables being cleaned or old people food left our starters was burnt chicken, witch never got collected, this was a treat for my wife who has cancer my wife and I had fish and chips there was less than 8 chips a teaspoon of mushy peas and the fish was so burnt it bent the knife the best thing was the tartar sauce my daughters curry was stone cold my sons steak was cremated and also forgot my bread and butter witch was stale no sorry no refund Would not recommend this place u better off elsewhere

Ordered from uber...whole order was wrong. Not the first time either. Seems no one reads the dietary requirements. If I hadn't checked my food, I would have been in hospital. Shame, used to be good.

Abit disappointed tonight, come around to have a nice family meal, there was things missing of my plate so had to wait in this course my food had gone cold and my family had eaten their meal so was eating on my own, I understand they are busy but having one bar staff member on wasn't good when it is busy

This is the 4th time we've visited the Manor couldn't be more delighted the food is very good the service and setting excellent would recommend it for everyone

Sadly I had the worst meal ever here last night. I had to send my lasagne back as it was burnt to smithereens. The plates it was placed on were dangerously hot. The second lasagne brought out wasn't burnt but the white sauce was congealed under the pasta and it was only lukewarm. I was with a friend and her meal arrived nearly 15 minutes after mine. Our plates were not cleared by the time we left approx 30 mins later. I come here often and the food has always been good so what has happened? By the way the staff were friendly and polite as always.
