Costa Coffee in North Somerset

I go to Costa's very regularly but my experience today wasn’t the best, I got there and there was at least 6 people in front of me, one gentleman serving and then 2 other ladies back and forth with washing up and not sure what the other was doing, however he was serving alone, it took over 15 mins to get served as he was taking the order then making it. The restaurant itself was a mess dirty cups and dishes everywhere, and I did say to the gentleman when he served me it wasn’t good enough and he said the other ladies had other things to do! Not sure what is more important than serving your customers and cleaning the cups!

Lovely, relaxed atmosphere today. All staff very welcoming, and I was noticed and acknowledged by Tania as soon as I got to the counter. Nice clean tables, and delicious drinks from Jess. A new girl on the till, which meant service was a little slow, but that was understandable, and Sophie served us with a smile, so it wasn't a problem at all. A weekend coffee and cake with my daughter is becoming a regular treat at this Costa.

Regularly walk past and grab a coffee to go. I order in advance on the app as the queue can often be fairly long. Iced cappuccino is the new favourite drink for me. Approachable and helpful staff. Lots of space in and out to sit also.

Standard Costa with fairly friendly employees but it is SO loud! Even when it's not busy it seems like the room is packed because of the noise; I think they could do something with noise insulation from the roof, because from my point of view it's a real turn off. I would choose to go elsewhere, even out of my way, to avoid having to have a shouted conversation. It's also a very mixed clientele - there are quite a lot of families and small children so this might be a factor. There are outdoor seats, but only usable on rare days due to UK weather... If they had some green space it might be nicer!

So I went to this site first thing in the morning and parked in the car park, I then left as I had a Business meeting along the road and drove my car off the premises, I then returned with a colleague for Lunch, I seems because we took longer than 1 1/2 hours for lunch we are to be charged £100.00 by Parking eye, Very expensive lunch and will Never set foot in your shop ever again and will warn friends and family.

Went for Mango and Passion fruit cooler and run out, discussing. Had the Apple and Rhubarb Cooler and it's the worse drink ever in Costa by far. Horrible after taste for sure.

Delicious iced lemon and ginger tea. 😋

Waited in line for 20 minutes with about 5 people in front of me. Two girls behind the counter had absolutely no rush or hurry and one left to start putting 50% stickers on food almost past sell by date even though there was a huge queue. They had almost zero customer service skills and looked like they would rather be anywhere else. The queue was just as long when we left

This place is much better since refurbishment, lot lighter and cleaner looking.

Nice surroundings since the refurb but very little atmosphere and has to be the slowest Costa I've ever been in for service!

Lovely and clean, plenty of seating on my visit. I do believe the queue was a little slow moving due to a lack of staff. Overall, a great coffee stop.

One of the friendliest Costas we have been to. We love visiting whilst shopping. The staff are so good.

Nothing special really. Just staff who just want to earn their money with no passion for their jobs. Usual standard drinks

Normally I have no issues here, but today I made the mistake of stopping in while I had a cold. I periodically had to clear my throat, and each time I did the barista shot me a nasty glare. I wasnt sure why until she eventually snidely said "yes, I'll be with you in a minute" in a sarcastic tone. This barista always seems to be in a bad mood. Maybe she needs better customer service training.

It's a Costa so pretty standard. This one is OK. Not the cleanest and often lots of tables not cleared. Food always seems expensive for what it is.

Five of us went to Costa coffee for drinks and snacks. Service was OK and the drinks and snacks were good.

One of my favourite coffee places to go to, thanks to Saskia who will happily entertain anyone with friendly conversation, as well as a great service from a welcoming team of friendly people:D

They are very slow with service. Five people doing two peoples jobs. There was a delivery person waiting to do a takeaway order which took them ages to sort out.

The staff is careless, very slow service, they , tables full of cups and plates, however coffee is good.

The portions are getting smaller!

Lovely little visit and tried the Frappe, service was great, very polite young lady who made our drinks. Sat outside in the sunshine. Drinks tasted amazing!

Not a bad coffee shop as coffee shops go and this Costa outlet is situated in Worle and is a regular spot I visit. The service here is usually quick and efficient no matter how busy it gets, but in all truth, today was a bit of a letdown. Trying hard not to be picky but having to wait at the front of the queue for seven minutes before even being asked for my order was not great. Don't let my gripes and moans get in the way of obtaining a decent coffee has Costa Coffee always the best.

You can’t expect kids to provide great service. They’re obviously to young. The older person who must have been the manager was running around clearing all the tables. Get the kids doing that and the manager can focus on the customers

I'm not usually a fan of chain places like this but we stopped here whilst travelling to Cornwall and was pleasantly surprised at the great service we received. My family of 5 had sausage batches and tea, little ones had juices and the girl serving us was really friendly and organised. The food she brought over to us was hot, tasty and didn't taste like reheated food. The other young girl working there that day was also pleasent and worked really quickly which you don't tend to see in a lot of staff nowadays. Tables were cleaned promptly on people leaving and the shop itself was tidy. The toilets were a little ropey hence my lower score but all in all a pleasant experience.

Yawn…. With one staff slowly serving, taking payment, making coffees the pace is painfully slow. Two others are chatting , refilling shelves , clearing tables and ignoring the queue Surely the priority is customer service … one taking orders & payment , another making the coffees… lack of interest is so obvious !!

Well located for popping in for coffee but it is quite small and gets really noisy. Hard to hear yourself at times.

Coffee seems a little pricey always but the social aspect is great. Horses for courses I guess. Great place for a meet though.

The store looks a bit shabby but the usual very good Costa coffee stuff still remains. They took ages delivering us two hot drinks and two wraps both of which had been in the oven to long. So long we couldn’t eat them very quickly.

This has to be 3/3 of the Costa Coffee shops along the main road (A370) into W-s-M. Staff can vary from day to day, sometimes little pride in their work, other times very helpful and polite. Furniture is well worn and needs a fresh update. Only take away cups at 2.30pm today and cleaning ready for close down!!

As I walked through the door I couldn't believe it tables were full of rubbish as was the floor I sat well away from my table don't think it had been wiped down all day but I don't blame the staff they were rushed off their feet but still managed to be polite so for gods sake put more staff on so customer's can sit in peace

Timed my arrival right and was served straight away and also managed easily to get a table, this isn't always the case. Drink was normal Costa standard

I popped into costas before having a lil look round boots ‘n’ morrie this Tuesday just gone. Safe to say this ain’t gonna be a regular or even another thing I’ll be doing round worle area and I’ll tell you for why. ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE QUEUE of about 4 people to just get a simple Belgian Chocolate Frappe with Gingerbread and dairy free milk chocolate sauce. I usually go Starbucks in Sainsbury’s but I can’t be affording to pay for my regular coffee as cost of living crisis. So I decided Costa would be my next best option. How wrong I was. Me and my hubbie ordered the same drink twice over - Simple for a woman like me. Now the incompetent staff looked blandly in my face when I requested my drink. Not on. They should know what they are doing working there or are Costa another one of them massive chains who just bulk hires and doesn’t train they’re staff. When my drink arrived it was adequate in the way it looked. This visual aspect came crashing down when I took a sip and a long black hair slithered up the red and white candy cane straw. I did begin to gag as I have an intolerance to hair mix with food. I get it’s for some people but some people ain’t me. Gagging and retching I staggered down the stairs out front whilst my husband rolled his eyes (men and I right) before reaching busy bees nursery and hurling all over the floor. No woman over the age of 40 should be subject to vomming in public let alone from a Costa coffee. As I took another sip the remnants t greasy hair reminded me to not get a cost again. I think it’s disgusting that they don’t make there staff ware hair nets as events such as these are common im sure. This has been a life changing event in terms of coffee consulting and I won’t be back soon. Let me just say that in total for 2 coffees I payed nearly a tenner how overpriced for a hair filled glass of ice with a bit of chocolate milk. Disgusting scamming hardworking people out of their money during costa living crisis. Surprised they don’t have black and wheelchair people working in there and all with their gay and lesbian cups on show. Unacceptable service and wouldn’t recommend.

Needed somewhere to have a drink and do some work. Costa was the nearest and had plenty of space. Hot chocolate was one of the best I have ever had and the service was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and a special shout to Amanda who was making sure that everything was clean and tidy! Great visit…will definitely return.

Stopped for a takeaway before driving up to midlands ,had a lovely flat white.

Not a bad little Costa, but it is little. Sometimes difficult to find a seat and can be quite noisy when busy.

Home from home..the staff are all lovely and friendly

Typical Costa coffee, very busy and very loud. Made a couple of small changes to layout inside. But still popular Costa just be prepared to queue in busy times.

The young girl who served us was lovely and the stuff we had was great. However there was these two other customers who kept on moaning at all the staff. The elder members of staff seemed very stressed and miserable. Clearly only there for the money. They kept on staring at us afterwards like we’d done something wrong.

Lovely Costa as usual but I will say that of all the Costas in weston the Morrisons end one is by far the best with by far the cleanest toilets and clean clear tables and chairs . No covid fears here Love it

Things have improved at this one since our last few visits. There has been a common trend due to the pandemic of people taking staff just for the sake of it. No sign of this at this costa. Great service, great food, friendly staff

Both myself and my friends always enjoy popping in a grabbing a coffee and cake especially when the staff are always smiling efficient and welcoming I couldn’t recommend this Costa enough a definite 5 star from us

If they insist on frog-marching their customers out at 1702 hrs, the have a 1630hr "last orders' policy - disrespectful and intensely annoying to be treated this way?

The staff have no interest in their jobs. They take an age to serve you. No sugar sachets available. Why can’t they have a dispenser for sugar that the staff can operate for you ?.

Service always slow no matter how busy or not. Super hot as air con is poor, usually untidy too. Staff not very friendly.

The staff and service really let it down here. They have no urgency when it gets busy. Staff need to have passion and desire to work in any form of catering.

We called here for coffees but although there was an empty table outside there were no chairs as a family of 9 had taken all the seats including some from inside. We stood and drank our coffee while watching people going inside but no chairs...

This costa always seems to be quiet clean. It can get really busy around school drop off/pick up times due to being so close to a primary school and nursery.

Love this costa. I normally get a take away at this branch but they are relatively quick to make the coffee. Only had one issue here and they resolved it really fast no questions asked. Ill be back soon

Costa have refitted this branch which in fairness needed to happen but they have turned into a dark uninviting cave! Table number has decreased and space inside has also. It's constantly queued and feels very cramped. There are better costas

Fast service here, despite being busy queue was short. Normal Costa fare, drinks were hot and good quality. Nice ambience here for sitting down.
