Burger King in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

They just grab what ever is already laying on the counter don’t listen to dietary request even when you select no bacon they still add it

I ordered a chicken fries meal and a side of nuggets the chicken fries you can tell they were in the heating units way longer then the holding Time they were hard to chew and barely warm and same goes for the nuggets the fries were decent even my kid didn’t want to eat the nuggets and he usually eats anything 😂

It was ordered at 18.30 with a 35minute window that turned into 17.45 not acceptable.

When I ordered delivery time was 8pm it arrived after 9pm. Food was of poor quality cold and bread on the burger was hard and dry.

When I had ordered my food a staff member came up to my family and I and told us upstairs was a “sea view” we thought that was very nice, as we came upstairs we sat down looked out the window but you couldn’t see absolutely anything sitting down so we stood up to see no sea view but what there was was an Aldi’s Shop. As I walk into the bathrooms I notice two out of the four Women’s toilets were blocked, toilet seats basically hanging off and it just was not a clean and sanitary environment. Thank you very much for the four chips I got with my meal

Staff were unfriendly, rolling their eyes. no drinks in the machines and fizzy drinks served with no carbonated water just syrup.

Rude staff, very unfriendly, rolled their eyes and just stood around doing nothing, no drinks in the machines just syrups with no carbonated water.

Arrived on time called me to tell me my order will be in 2 mins on holiday here so was happy to find just eat

We got takeaway around 13:40 on Sunday 01/09/2024 . Most of the drinks weren't available. I ordered bacon on my burger melt, and that was a big mistake! It was so undercooked that it seemed raw. It really was disgusting. The burger wasn't very warm. The cheese loaded fries were really good. Plenty of cheese and hot fries. Husband had a double chicken melt and it looked thrown together. Daughter had chicken nuggets and fries. They forgot 2 of the fries and my husband had to go back in. It was a bit disappointing. We live nearby but don't go there during tourist season and I really wanted Burger King and this visit was sad.

Very late with the delivery of the food. The fries were not in the bag. Restaurant did nothing about it when called them to explain what had happened. More staff training needed is a definite at this Burger King

Utter dive, as a local it's nice to be able to grab something quickly when out after work etc but 9 times out of 10, the food is almost cold when it you watched the workers make what was presumably your meal right in front of you. Soda machine rarely works, not a very clean environment. The toilet was also filthy, blocked up with feces and what looked to be soiled toilet paper on the floor...? No staff available to talk to, not good when this is a food establishment and customers enter the toilet to then go back out to the area where people eat potentially spreading filth into an area that's supposed to be kept clean. The first time we went almost a year ago, it wasn't great, but we gave them another chance. It was better, food was a bit better, not super hot but at least hot enough to assume it was freshly cooked. The past few times it's gotten worse and worse. The assumed manager was uninterested, too busy chatting to another member of staff. Not enough staff around to give a damn. The few members of staff who are available do put effort in to provide a decent experience and good on them but unfortunately this particular Burger King is in need of better management before someone gets sick I think. The toilets though, not impressed as this is a place where you expect those to be well maintained... if the toilets aren't clean, what's going on with your food? No one likes the job of cleaning loos but there wasn't anyone available to mention the state of the toilet to at the time so what can you do 🤷🏻‍♀️

Waited over an hour, foot was missing and food was cold. Will not order again

Came here a couple times to get a quick lunch, and it wasn’t too bad. It can get very busy in here so credit where credits due to the staff, they work their backs off to handle it and they do it very well. On this occasion the drinks machine unfortunately seemed to be on the fritz, however, I do appreciate that the server informed me as such and at least was nice about it. Little things like that that you know it’s obviously out of their control but at least they remain professional about it. Food quality was alright as well, I mean it’s Burger King so what you see is what you get. But the food is cooked fresh so kudos for that. So yeah, I’d recommend this place. It’s nice in a pinch to get a quick lunch or dinner. because the food is nice and the service and there is very prompt and professional as well.

Went to burger king 4 nights in a row. Molly and David 2 of the staff can't praise enough. Their customer service was excellent, definitely need more staff as they were run off their feet. Would definitely return.

The service in the store today was outstanding from Tyler and Cal. Tyler could not apologise more for the drinks machine having just 1 selection and then the burgers that were ordered through the till was plain but they came with everything on them. The food is marked as a 3 due to the error on 3 of the 4 burgers ordered. And the selection of drinks. Tyler was extremely polite. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He would definitely make a brilliant manager going from my experience in the store today.

the food doesn't taste good and i didn't get one order and the staff don't talk to you

waited 2 hours . contacted the resteraynt and cancelled the order. an hour later a stone cold and stale meal arrived and was put streight in the bin after 3 hours and being cancelled but I was still charged for it.

Pretty disgusting service from your delivery driver. No ringing my doorbell or knocking on the door, just my food left almost upended on my muddy door mat. Absolutely bone idol and disgusting service

First time in Newquay and wanted a quick bite. Employee named Tyler was really friendly and welcoming after telling me it was my first time here!

The driver went from burger king to petral statiom miles and go into town then go back somwhere else miles, 20 minutes before getting my food as digusting i fed it to my dogs.

I had a bad day so I came to burger king and there he was the manager Ethan lit up like a angel in my life, I ordered a whopper meal and he made it for me and spoke to me about my life and how my day was he is amazing 10 out of 10, That George was alright to I suppose

ordered 9 Chilli Cheese Bites, but after waiting 12 to 15 minutes, I received only about half of my order. The bites were cold and tasted very different from usual. When I approached an employee to address the issue, he said there was nothing he could do. This response was disappointing, as I had just received my order. I am now considering telling my family and relatives not to visit any Burger King store due to this experience. This incident occurred around 9:40 PM on 19/05/2024.

Young lad behind the counter was great helping me figure out what I could eat with my allergies and all round very friendly

Friendly staff but the time it took to get my order was over 20 minutes. Guy doing the orders was sweating and did not wear hygiene gloves on his hands. I will not be going back to this burger king on this trip and in the future.

Incredibly rude assistant manager on the till on Friday 12th April. I was ignored for 5 minutes before my order was taken with no queue in front of me. Food took a further 15 minutes to arrive. During this time several people walked out without ordering because of the wait and insolent staff member. The poor young girl cooking was worked off her feet while the assistant manager gave a running commentary in dispersed with being rude to and ignoring customers. To top the long wait time and rudeness the atmosphere is dire and the drinks machine is broken! Needless to say I won’t be going back.

This branch is pretty sad, the screens to order don't work. I was a bit concerned that the staff were assembling the food, handling the salad etc with no gloves. I didn't get given a receipt when I paid for my food, number was called out but didn't know it was for my order as no receipt was given to me. However, the vegan options are very nice! But it states regular fries with my meals as per my receipt, but as seen in the image, I was given 2 small portions instead.

It was almost empty , just 2 staff on . I ordered a simple order of a whopper , chicken royale and large fries . 3 items . Got home and the whopper was missing. Don't know how they cope with lots of customers at once

Thought I'd treat myself to a burger king on Wednesday evening. Didn't know what to expect as I haven't had BK for a few years. I was positively surprised: my meal was hot and arrived quickly, the restaurant was nice and clean and Brian (the Manager who took my order) was cordial and helpful. Satisfied customer.

Usually take quiet a while for the food to come out and yesterday I ordered a chicken royal and it came out with mild on it however my bf picked it off so I couldn’t take it back and get a refund 🤢 have felt sick since

I called and tried to order online I said I was on a bus and it'll be a bit noisy and they said I was a prank caller when I tried to ask for a recommendation but thay hung up.

Fantastic all arrived quickly and hot :) and everything was in it having. Read previous reviews I wasn’t sure but it was perfect all on time and hot

Ordered fine and was quiet in so we didn't think we'd have to wait long, our food was luke warm as they were pre cooked in trays I was a bit concerned our food was being handled without gloves or washing hands even after staff had handled the bins and pulling their trousers up etc. We were waiting for our food for quite some time with no apologies from staff etc very disappointing and won't be going again

burger ok not exactly warm though and never see notes as brought dips which I never seem to get. chips are hit and miss whether you get piping hot or cardboard.

Popped in on Sat 17 Feb 2024 and ordered via the self service touchscreen menu, a couple of Whopper meals and a Chicken Royale to take away. After waiting for 30 minutes, I asked where my order was and was informed by Brian (Manager?) that the young girl in the kitchen area had messed up my order and my order had subsequently been forgotten about. I was told it would be ready within minutes. Several minutes passed and Brian was now deciding to prep the burgers himself despite working the cash register and handling customers etc. At one point he was dealing with a courier who had come to collect an order for delivery and to view the order details, he used his index finger to touch the touchscreen of the couriers smartphone! After witnessing this and then watching him handle my burgers with the same unwashed hands I decided to get a refund. Someone needs to teach this man about food hygiene! He can't seriously think its acceptable to handle a strangers smartphone (which are full of bacteria) and then handle customers food without washing his hands first. He also handled my debit card during the refund procedure and didn't wash his hands afterwards. I know my debit card isn't the cleanest in the world as it's often loose in my car or work overalls etc. Over 40 minutes of my night wasted and no food to show for it. I will not be returning to this branch again.

I chose the order again option from a previous day. Unfortunately there were several items unavailable, the main bulk of the order, but rather than communicate this they just sent out the remainder. Which did not constitute a meal. And did not justify the delivery. A second order at a separate restaurant had to be placed. Waste of time and money. Terrible.

Food overall was horrible. 4 of the 9 onion rings were cooked ages ago and they were not edible, looked like stones. Bacon on the loaded chips was expired a while providing a rancid flavour and the mayonnaise on the burger was also rancid. I have been in lot of burger king's around the world but this is the worst quality one by far
