We visited this pub twice during our short visit as the food was so good and very reasonably priced. On our first visit we had the freshly caught cod and chips which really did look like a whale on a plate. Would highly recommend this place and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

I laser cane here 3 years ago, and before that was about 30 year. The decor is still the 80’s. Have to confess booked this with some friends as couldn’t get in anywhere else, I was a bit apprehensive. Service was a little slow, but the food was amazing. The cod was huge and great batter. Really wish the group that own it, would invest in it.

I wasn’t overly impressed with the regime to help stop the spread of COVID. The waiters didn’t wear a mask and got very close to customers when bringing the food. Also, despite three tables emptying whilst we were there, I did not see anyone come and thoroughly clean the table ready for the next customers. Perhaps it was done on arrival, but, I think it should be done straight away. Due to the number of open windows in the conservatory, it did help give a feeling of being outside, which helped. A shame as otherwise I would have given a better recommendation, views are fabulous.

Have used this place before but not for a few years Food is still excellent - good, tasty, hot and very reasonably priced. I normally come in the winter, so its dark when I arrive - so i was a bit taken aback by the decor being a bit grungy - although the barman told us they've been painting but have not yet changed the carpet. The conservatory is a fab place to eat with its view of St Michael Mount but looked in need of a deep clean However - do not let the above put you off, the food is very tasty, generous portions, very reasonably priced and the staff are so helpful and friendly This place is definitely worth a visit - overlook the decor and focus on the food and the excellent customer service

Visited today with two friends, on arrival was met by Ali the barman whom was really friendly and helpful. We sat in the conservatory which on a fine day the views are amazing. All of our meals were amazing and very good value, this was my third visit and have never been disappointed. Definitely will be returning.

Stopped here a few times on our walk between Penzance and Marazion. Nice pint of beer and coffee. Lovely views and friendly staff. Sunday roast also looked very good but we didn't want to spoil our walk!

Good value pub grub style food with good beer. All reasonable in price. A mix of locals and holidaymakers frequent this place. A great location with a very warm welcome from the staff. Its traditional in style inside but a little "dingy" with a conservatory that overlooks the beach. The Conservatory looks as though it has been shut all winter but someone forgot to clean it! The UPVC is dirty with mould and the glass has not been cleaned either. Cobwebs hang from the roof and doorways of the conservatory, get this cleaned up and it would be a very pleasant place to eat as it's in a great location. It's not sure what it wants to be this pub, it has mild nods to the nearby railway and it's old station but some of the decor is odd. This place could do with a makeover to enhance its appeal and good value. I would use it again though as the staff are great and the food is good.

After a day on the beach we looked for somewhere to eat that was casual and good value, as our teenagers didn't want posh nosh and we are on a budget. Found the Stationhouse after googling pubs with food, and on arrival worried we'd be disappointed as to be honest it's a little rough round the edges. However the bar staff were friendly, and the menu had plenty to choose from. My steak was cooked to perfection and my husband's haddock and mozzarella fish cakes were lovely. The portions were huge, and came out quickly, and most dishes were under a tenner, which is rare in Cornwall! Plus the pub sits on the edge of Marazion/Long Rock beach front overlooking St Michael's Mount AND if you go after 5pm the public car park next door is free (pub car park is tiny). Would definitely return!

The food was good but the service was appalling ! The chap who brought our food out was totally unprofessional, appeared to be there purely to collect a wage , not worried about what customers require sauces cutlery etc, leaving dirty crockery and cutlery on tables after finishing !

Very helpful on the telephone when I made a group booking. Food wasn't too long being served and was reasonably priced. Worth eating there before visiting the Mount but it doesn't open until 12.00 and was difficult to find as it is at the back of a large carpark. Look for a snack bar called Jordans before you reach Marazion village.

Massive portions of classic pub grub, served with a smile! Bar man v helpful and friendly-excellent value for money and car park is the cheapest by far. Lovely view of beach and st Michaels mount from the spacious conservatory, A good place to stop with plenty of character. Thank you!

Wonderful view? Really? We couldn't see out of the conservatory windows for the filth. St Michael's mount was just a blurry image. Inside the pub proper it was dark and dingy.I was a once-a-month regular but haven't been for a year. Prices have really risen given the environment (cheap table cloths and lots of drunks). The food was also in keeping with general standards.

Held my daughters wedding reception here on 17th April. Ali and Steph did an amazing job with decorating the conservatory and all the food. Been coming here for over 25 years and I love the setting, the staff, the food and the fact we can take our dogs in as well. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and can’t wait to come again. See you all in October. Thanks again to all the excellent staff.

On a breezy sunny day, tea, beer and squash in a sun trap conservatory with stunning views across sandy beach and St Michaels mount met all our family's needs. No fuss pub, relaxed friendly service, no objection to kids or muddy boots, no pressure to order food. Average pub, not one to travel for, but a great pit stop after windy walk on beach.

Popped in for lunch. Yes the decor was tired, but the food, although “typical pub grub” was very good and piping hot. Staff were very friendly Views over bay and St Michael’s Mount were spectacular

Only ate there once during our stay in Marazion but were pleased with the quality and prices of the meals. Add to that a good selection of real ales and a great view on the Mount from the conservatory the it is well worth a visit.

I live in Cornwall and have been to here many times in the past but not for a couple of years. Was really disappointed, it was so dirty, it is January and now is the time to spring clean. I know this is right on the beach and you will expect sand etc but we sat in the conservatory, the windows had black mould on them, there were thick cobwebs in the plant beside us, so thick it was like a carpet, cobwebs everywhere else. We were going to have a meal but it put us off, had a drink each which was fine. The toilet ugh! toilet itself was clean but the pipes had thick black mould on them, there was a dirty net curtain on the window, I bravely lifted it but the window behind was disgusting has not been cleaned for years! The hand drier was broken so they had put one manky looking tea towel on the radiator to dry your hands.Sort it out Station House! you have a prime spot on the coast I will not be returning and certainly would not recommend anyone else to go here.
